I found these little night stands on the curb in the rain! They looked so sad begging for a makeover! I wanted to transform them in such a way that you could never tell that they are IKEA!
I changed the base by cutting away the arches, added fluting (ikea bamboo mat) and paint!
They sold overnight and my customer couldn’t believe they used to be Ikea night stands!

I really like the finished pieces except for the uneven set of the doors. One has a much larger gap around the door than the other.
