• The Wireless Backpack ...
This is my prototype solution for mounting a wireless video transmitters on a very compact RED V-Raptor X setup. This finally ticked the boxes I need, and is still reasonably elegant (if you don't mind the gaffer tape).
Please make these available for purchase haha what a genius idea keeping the setup clean and minimal!
Brilliant! Sign me up on your waiting list to purchase 🙂
Love the ingenuity!!
Looks great!
Love this. Incredible idea!
I found this extremely satisfying
Haha thanks!
@@nick_salazar You what? 😂😂😂😂 Dude I need those
Dude I've been using the VB99 originals on my FX3, using ThinkTank Red Whips to loosely strap the Hollyland 4K on the battery. I would love to see this available for purchase
That is slick man
Been using strong Velcro for years! But this is very nice:)
My first prototype was with 3M Dual Lock, but it was too wobbly. This is way more secure.
I need this 😍
Amazing!!!
amazing
I'm expecting the announcement of "NickRig" (like SmallRig) - "Specific rigging for particular needs..." ? *wink*. (MicroRig ?) 😛
Man, I'm really tempted to get your top handle and monitor mount, but I think I'll miss my run stop button on my current handle.
I thought I would too. But with the lowered monitor, I’ve got run/stop in reach of my thumb right from the monitor.
Genius... Would gladly pay for this... Can you see battery level?
Yeah it's just barely visible. Of course you can easily move the wireless tx out of the way for a better look if needed.
That grip module looks sick! Where can I get that?

Nice clean set up. Got one question tho, the Nisi lens seems to protrude a lot. Can all of them fit in the ND filter? Or only some of them can fit?
They all fit the Breakthrough VND. They don’t fit other ones like Mofage Poco or Meike, etc. but Breakthrough has 27mm clearance, and Athena’s go back 24.9mm max.
@@nick_salazar thx for quick response! Do u try on every single lens and focus all the way to the infinity? if so, that's dope!
@@Unitedpersona Buddy. They all work. I promise.
That's amazing! Would you share the 3d files for this?
The Plastic Fantastic parts are sold via www.fzerocamera.com - if you want to see the battery elements made available, drop us a line over there :-)
Perfect solution! I've looking for this!
I need one lol
Ooohhh... look at that O'Connor head.
It's an old 515 head, and it's great! One thing from NAB that was shockingly obvious is how many older O'Connor heads are still in use. Nearly EVERY booth which wasn't sporting a sponsored tripod setup ... had either O'Connor or Cartoni heads supporting their larger gear. O'Connors especially from the 1030b generation (the same design language on my smaller 515 head here).
@@nick_salazar I blew an opportunity to buy a 515 years ago. Kicking myself.
@@utooboobnoob Never too late, they're on eBay from time to time. That's where I got mine.
