Just found out that Brian is a co-worker with Alan Lee on an illustration book of the Middle-Earth.

I think you mean John Howe, because John and Alan worked together on the art for Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit (that being Middle-Earth). But Alan did work with Brian on Faeries
