- "Sky High" is a 1975 single release by British pop music group Jigsaw. The song was their biggest hit, and became so unexpectedly when it was used as the theme song to the 1975 motion picture The Man From Hong Kong (also known as The Dragon Flies) which was a martial arts espionage film that combined elements from James Bond and Bruce Lee movies. The film was a moderate success, but the song caught on with audiences in Japan and Europe, and then became a significant hit in the United States, as well. "Sky High" reached #3 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and #2 on the Adult Contemporary chart in the United States. The group was partly influenced by fellow British musicians The Beatles by sounding Beatle-esque at times, and especially their ballads which show leanings towards Paul McCartney's musical and vocal arrangements. They named their band after a Manchester, England nightclub called The Jigsaw Club.
