- čas přidán 3. 12. 2015
- On this hunt, Torie Lynn calls in 2 black color phase coyotes using a combination of howls on her MFK Pretty Deadly Howler and the ICOTec GC500 "MFK Edition". After killing a really pretty color phase coyote and doing the recovery, they decide to call one last time for the other black one and get a surprise! Two more black coyotes and a regular colored coyote come busting in, but hang up just outside of shotgun range! Visit us a www.mfkgamecalls.com
Your vocalizations are amazing! The way you two worked together was a predator hunting thing of beauty
Thanks man!
Can't say thank you enough sir!
Fantastic video, appreciate you sharing your knowledge and expertise!
Appreciate you watching!
That funky colored one is brindle! Like pit bull.
More couples should be doing stuff like this, awesome job.
Awesome job! I never knew coyotes had color variations this neat!! Tanks for the footage
To hear Torie explain passing up an unethical shot is refreshing!!!
Awesome to see a lady participating in coyote hunting too!
I killed a brindle colored one eight years ago . I was just telling my grandsons the story and than turned on this video . Great video !
Congrats! There’s not many colored like that. Thanks for watching.
She probably saved many deer, turkey and many other animals on your property. Good for her. Nice post. Thank you.
Thanks!!
That brindle yote is cool! Hell we don't even see black ones. Nice job Torie!
Thanks man!
That girl is a rare breed, u gotta good one
bromas
They aren't coydogs, but what has happened is that dogs have crossed with coyotes generations ago, and that's introduced those weird traits into them. All black wolves and black coyotes have distant dog ancestry. The white coyotes of Newfoundland are thought to have derived from a golden retriever that went coyote courting when the coyotes first crossed into the island. Really good stuff on dog and wolf genes in coyotes by Roland Kays of NC State.
Awesome color variations no matter where the genes are from. I'd love to see a different color than tan/red here in WI
I'd rather had that one than the black. Good hunt!
Chuck Weaver it’s definitely a rare color. Thanks!
3:20 6:40 9:00 19:00 24:14 25:30 Great Video, congrats Torie Lynn ! :-D
+FishingRidingHunter6 Thanks!
Itching to get started again here in Indiana soon! Thanks for the video!!
+Joe Dwenger Thanks for watching Joe!
What a BEAUTIFUL ALL AMERICAN COUPLE! CONGRATS!
That truly is one of the most beautiful kites I've ever seen and a hell of a good shot by that pretty woman 2
Bless her heart! Proud of her!!
Good to hear hunter disipline 7:00 spoke about here. If you don't feel you have good shot don't take it. Better not to educate a game animal by missing or just wound it with a poor shot.
awesome, I learn to hunt from these videos. nice calls
Thanks Derek
love watching! these videos are great kinda gets me feeling good about my calling
Thanks Shane!
I called and photographed one even blacker then that one at the Blue/Gray Park east of KC winter before last, nice calling and shooting
I love what y'all do keep it up I have used your diaphragm calls to call many coyotes in.
Thanks man! Kill em All!
Good hunt. Awesome colors on that coyote. 👍👍👍❤️
Beautiful coyote! Hope she got that hide taned
Thanks, I tanned it for her. I was a full time taxidermist before starting MFK.
I love yalls videos keep up the good work
Kool deal great job on calling any dead coyote is a good coyote
Thanks!
@@tccustomcalls what's the best time of day to hunt coyotes? I live in Blacksburg VA and we have so many around here it isn't funny, I personally don't know much about how to hunt them but they recently put a bounty of 75$ a head on them and I wanted to get some experience and get paid at the same time...
Bryan Copenhagen, I’d check and see if that bounty was real or some bs someone was talkin... I’m leanin towards bs.
The best time to hunt is whenever you can really. We hunt early mornings, mid day, night, etc.
love watching your video never been coyote hunting before I always wanted to I'll try to some time this uear
Thanks!
Nice hunt, Coyotes in Cape Breton Nova Scotia are hudge towards these,( Coywolf ) and are very easly spooked.
Been calling coyotes for 40 years and killed literally hundreds here out west and never seen white paws and a white tail tip on a coyote. I would bet money a dna test would show you got the farmers dog mixed in there...
And I would gladly bet against you. It's simply a result of to much melanin in their skin causing a darker color phase. It's the opposite of a piebald or albino.
@MFK GameCalls, I have been an American Pit Bull Terrier breeder for 30 years and that isn't how quote unquote "Melanin" works in dog breeds (and in K9's it is called eumelanin). Phaeomelanin will always be the dominant color gene in Coyotes. And there is no White Paw, White Chest gene in Coyotes or Wolves. It is most certainly from a domesticated farm dog cross at some point. @Mark Kerns was spot on.
I'm a trapper and can tell u that has some dog in it for sure not rare in IL we do see this and lots of dogs are brindle try to sell it to a fur buyer 😂
So one of ya breeds dogs, the other traps... lol.. well case closed! The experts have arrived! LMAO!!!!
MFK GameCalls it has dog in it bro don't get mad just not rare to see one with dog in it dnr might test it for you and a fur buy would not buy it for a few reasons we do catch them here and we don't bother with them Nov 1 is opening day I'll send u some pic still wild and u clam to be the pro I'm out for fur and that fur ain't worth 0
Long story but I shot 2 once, male at 5 yards, female about 15 yards, With a 22. The day before opening Ohio spring turkey season,( mid April) I was trying to locate turkeys. I heard what I thought was pups whimpering. I simply threw out a challenge bark. I knew the hunting area very well. so I moved towards the response bark and was going to set up. Me being a rookie I had no clue they was coming. Only made one challenge bark. I approached a knoll that was about 10ft high and started up the knoll. As soon as I could see over the knoll one was right there growling and coming towards me. I couldn't even get the 22 to my shoulder, As I raised my 22 up I started firing. Male went down, The female took off, I was able to shoulder my 22 then and hit her about 20 yards away. I about crapped my pants. Lesson learned. That day I never had a turkey to respond so I could have a jump start the next day on an area. But the next morning the woods was alive with Turkey gobbles and was out of the woods about an hour into opening day. Not sure if killing the yotes had anything to do with it, But it seemed so considering both days was nice calling days. Shrugs. I learned a lesson that day for sure, They will either come to me or forget it
Great video guys! Cool looking coyote! Love to hear them respond to the call!
Thanks man!
This is the best video I see so far. 👍🏼
love to see a man that just loves his southpaw shooting woman.! proud of both of you.c.
Thanks Cindy!
Beautiful creature.
That coyote looked pretty cool too.
You are as smooth as Napoleon Dynamite.
Cool video. Close quarter hunting definitely requires good sound. Her diaphragm stuff was great. That coyote look reminds me of the look those wild dogs have in Africa. Not as mottled though. I think your right that isn't a coydog. That mix seems like it would show in more than just the color.
If that coyote were a dog, it would be called a "Brindle", and now that color phase is starting to show up in Rabbits to. www.google.com/search?q=Brindle+Rabbits&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8 but it is a rare color phase. I saw something on PBS one time about dogs, they said that wild dogs are always brown or black, when they have been domesticated spotted dogs start showing up a few generations in the line of breeding. To prove their point, they went to a fox breeding facility and showed some spotted foxes. But to see a wild color phase like that coyote you guys got is really special.
Congrats that's awesome coyote
Thanks Scott!
Awesome hunt! Congratulations! Full body mount all day long. I’m about to order some of y’alls calls. I’m a trapper and that’s fun, but it’s nothing like calling one in!
Love watching your videos. You two do some awesome hunts and your hunting partner is a very pretty young Lady 😍.
I have Lucky Duck Roughneck caller I believe the disc sounds are loaded on a San Disc. I wish your sounds were on a San Disk you'd sell them to every Luck Duck caller out there and there's 1000's of us. If there not you should really think about that money making expansion offering your calls to more user's.
My neighbor said he seen a black one I'm hoping to get it trapping or calling.
Thanks! Glad you like our videos & appreciate the feedback. Right now we have an exclusive deal with Foxpro for our MFK sounds but my daughter is currently recording a sound library called SawBriar sounds. It’s the same quality as MFK but with different coyotes & other animals. The SawBriar Sounds will be available to all ecall brands including Lucky Duck. Thanks again.
@@tccustomcalls
Awesome I'll be one of her first customers. Do you have any idea when that will be out one the market? That's awesome you can't have to many sounds as you know that.🙂
@@niceguy2830 Thanks! Her library & website are being built now. It’s a slow process but we hope to have it ready sometime this winter. Thanks again!
What a girl ! What a shot ! What a BEAUT !!
Cool hunting video, thanx for sharing !!
Thanks!
I could take this video and a blue tooth speaker and call in a yote. Impressive calling!!
looks like you might have a wild dog mix out there! we had some out here in ohio area! but i could be wrong! nice hunting! also i moved to the city having some cyotes running arount the area, i have 2 dogs any advice to keep them away from the house, remember no hunting in the city :( or id have the problem taken care of! again nice hunting! be safe out there!
+Larissa Jackson Just puttin' my two cents in here, your best bet would be to contact the Game Warden of your county and they will trap problem predators for you....
Larissa Jackson if your dog stay at home in the city he'll be just fine he come to the country he'll be just fine to . Till he kills my chickens in my back yard then , he better do it qwick get back to the city , else he would get back to the city or no were else . Good dogs are owned a keep by good people that keep um on there land . Otherwise a stray dog is a dead dog specaily a chicken killen dog.
Now I know what the heck that was I saw lying dead in a pasture with a bullet hole in its chest! It looked just like that only the stripes were more pronounce. It looked just like that! This was 30 years ago in upstate, NY. (My Dad was USAF buddy w/ Johnny Cash. THey were stationed in Landsberg, Germany gathering intel. Johnny was first to know Stalin went to Hell. Dad said "Johnny would sit on a milk crate at end of hall way and play his guitar". They had special barracks. Johnny was a Christian and so was my Dad. And I found The Pearl of Great Price in Jesus Christ. Do you have The Pearl of Great Price?)
100% coydog. Jk. Awesome video you two!
What are you guys wearing to keep the ticks off of you there bad hear in Kentucky mostly I hunt land just like you do love the color of this one
Boxer was my first guess also. There's cream in the coffee.
Did yall mount it?
Tunafish tanned the pelt.
Men men men you and you're team are best I'm you're fans Mery Cristmas and happy holidays
I must say, I learned a lot by watching this video, mainly that you can howl in a coyote at another time other than only dawn and dusk. What time of day were you hunting at if you don't mind me asking? Looked like late morning. I hunt similar county here in the Ozarks of Missouri and have only starting to explore this 'close-quarter' coyote hunting technique this year with some success, at least in getting a couple of coyotes to come in in thick cover, but not quite close enough for them to expose themselves enough for a shot. Sure is exciting to hear them howling back at you in the woods. Awesome video!!!!
Thanks man! It was around mid morning when we howled these in but we've had them respond at all hours of the day.
I didn't know that was possible. Your channel has made me rethink a lot of my coyote hunting strategies and made me realize that I now have double the area to hunt since I now am going to start hunting the woods surrounding my fields. Thanks again and good luck!!
+MFK GameCalls I'll tellin' you guys, this makes my hunting blood boil! I can't wait to start getting experienced in this method...
What are your best productive hours to call. I am 76 and just getting into chasing coyotes.
what kind of shotgun shells do y'all use? @mfkgamecalls
HD BB's & #4 buckshot.
The property I hunt isn't big enough to locate them it's only about 200 acres any tips ?
That's big enough.
wow wow!!!! I hunt in England we have foxes that is it!!! you lucky people great vid thanks
Thanks Edith!
@@tccustomcalls I need to know what videos that I commented on
hey great hunt and great shot by the way what kind of choke do you use when shotgun hunting and what number shut
Thanks! Choke is a .670 & it patterns BB's & #4 buck very well.
Torie, when you say colored. Do you mean colored being the coyote is black or just defining color that the coyote is?
I can watch yalls videos all day gave me some good tips on killing some I'm having a problem with. do you use any bait or just calls?
Thanks John! We only use calls.
Ok I'm having some trouble with some on my land eating my live stock so I was just seeking some advice thanks for the reply
Very cool! I'm originally from Crossett and most of my family is still there.I was just curious, but what do you do with the yotes that you kill? Do you mount them or tan the hides?Another question, what part of the year is your favorite for hunting yotes?
Thanks Mark! We tan some, sell some, & leave some laying depending on the fur. We hunt year around & like it all.
Barbee q Um Man obama said he ate dogs , so thare you go .
Ordered the competition howler and looked at the tracking number, it originated from Hamburg Arkansas, hell I could just picked it up from you guys this weekend! Did MFk originate from Ashley or Bradley County>?
Thanks for the order! We're in Bradley County.
Thats my kind of woman, she hollars for a good reason.
Lovely lady and very nice video. I have one question, however, why do you guys resort to whispering when no one can hear or make out what you're saying? Of course, you're not the only ones doing this, it seems to be a pervasive trait among hunters. Irritating, at the very least.
100nortonfan they whisper in case more coyotes are headed in or not seen. Don’t wanna spook potential kills!
You guys need to deal with our big pack of coyotes down here they get up close and personal they get in our driveway in our yard
You should be up here in Nova Scotia, the coyotes are wolf mixed and even hunted and killed a poor girl in cape breton. Good videos.
2013brzsubaru, here in Seattle, we have big foot. Just across the road in Main, theirs vampires. Pretty bad stuff. When you mix a big foot and a damn vampire... we'll, we're in some real deep Shit there. Hard times...
Why the sarcasm, I said I enjoyed your video. We had a killing here in Nova Scotia that was the first ever known stalking and killing of a human by coyotes. National geographic covered it and DNA from the coyote showed wolf DNA. czcams.com/video/5g6SsyRajNg/video.html Happy hunting and Happy New Year!
2013brzsubaru, I was kidding with ya. But I've seen what wolves do with coyotes... it ain't a sex session.
Cool, I hunt deer but after this killing here and seeing your videos, I think i'm going to start hunting coyotes! I'll check your MFK products!
Brice Henry, show me a coyote and wolf fuckin will ya? I can show you a 100lbs plus wolf kill the fuck out of a 40lbs coyote anytime. If it's a big coyote, it's gotta be a coywolf right? If it's an odd colored coyote, it has to be a coydog... if it's an albino, it must be part polar bear. Damn...
What kinda shotgun shells are you using? I would love to know so I can get a coyote with a 12 gauge
We're shooting a .670 constriction choke with both 3" high density BB's & 3" #4 buckshot.
Thank you
Do you ever get chills or anything like that when they answer your calls?
never... we give them chills
A shotgun does have that effect.
Mfk game calls why don't y'all use tree-stands?
Deer stands and Predator set ups don't always go hand in hand.
I use some of your calls but shoot them with a .22 cal air gun it's a umerax octaine 1250 fps it if super quiet way fun
Does that 22 cal airgun have enough stopping power for a coyote? How close would you have to be?
I was wondering the same thing on the 22 being capable of stopping one was looking into doing that myself versus the 357 airgun is a little loud
👍❤️
James Hager thanks!
Are high caliber rifles not a good thing to use when hunting coyotes I have a 303. british and a 50 caliber black powder rifle just don't want to blow away the hide if I use those rifles
.223 is good for them. Big stuff tears the pelt up. I had to tan one that was shot twice with 12 ga slugs, what fun. Not sure what a .50 black powder would do, probably be like the 12ga slug.
Shot um with what ever you got sling shot marball at 20 yards in ether ear will work.
Love seeing your wife shoot em! Great seeing females hunting. And that is a really cool coyote.
Mark Green thanks! Appreciate you watching.
Awsome!!!!
what choke and shells are you guys using?
Robert Peppers, search mfk shotgun
What kind of shells are you using in the shotgun
ManNamed Darrlle either 12 gauge 3" BBs or 12 gauge 3" #4 buckshot
love it nice
What kind of choke do you use when hunting??
LnR Outdoors .670 basically a full or extra-full choke
Seems the dog genes in the coyotes in that area are strong. The gene for black in both wolves and coyotes has been genetically proven to come from dogs at some point in the past(100+ years ago). Same with blonde coyotes, same gene that makes yellow labs yellow. Brindles weird though.
Good Gawhd...
Very nice! Are you using slugs in the shotgun?
Blaine Riding Buckshot or maybe BBs
Not all camo'd even to hunt them, and with a shotgun to boot. What yardage was that taken at?
Under 60 every time. Usually around 20.
Nice dog
odd to be callin in the timber. Did you know there were there and then setup on them?
That's our typical type of stand. Locate, get close, and kill them.
another good video by MFK,, question for you guy's "I notice no camo on the hunts" whats your reason for not wearing any ?? Don't mean to be rude just curious !! keep posting & I'll keep watchin !!
Thanks man! Nothing wrong with wearing camo but it's not as critical as most people think. Coyotes are both near sighted & color blind. Being still is the key.
Calling all MFK members ,,LOL.. Where can a fella get your calls "Mouth Calls".. I am having one hell of a time watching these YOTE hunts,, Damn good Hunts,Calling,Video's ECT....
Hey guys all joking aside when I get confident enough with my calling & such and hit the fields I'm gonna be video taping my hunts. Is it ok to give thanks to you guy's "MFK" on video ?? Don't want to get myself in any trouble..
www.mfkgamecalls.com
Yeah man, mention them in your videos if you'd like. We'd appreciate it!
Hey Torry we have wild dog problem cause dogs and coyotes bread and there all around my deer stand if one get 100-150 yards it's dead
+Caleb Taylor Kill em all!
what type of callers are you using where can i but them in canada. thanks keep hunting.
TheShart1234 Don't know if there are any dealers. You'll probably just have to call them or buy off the website, mfkgamecalls.com
Torie Lynn is frickin' HOT!!! Having said that, she just shot a hybrid. There ain't no way that is full blood "color phase" yote!
Yep, it howls, yips, & barks just like a coyote. It looks & is built just like a coyote with 100% coyote features. It has fur (coyote) not hair (dog) like a coyote & it runs with normal colored coyotes, but it must be Big Foots mutt since it's brindle colored. WRONG!! It's simply a coyote that has to much melanin which causes it's normal coat to be darker than usual! You did get one thing right though. Torie Lynn is Hott!
+MFK GameCalls Does Torie Lynn do any acting or modeling? If so, could you direct us to some of her work?
Who is "us"? What's your company?
+MFK GameCalls Us as in just fans of your youtube channel.
+junglejonny1000 we're gonna be in Nashville at the NWTF show soon. come see us and introduce yourself. ask for Dave.
Dogs run black cyote white chest Thanksgiving day got it
why are you change call animal sound?
What type of gun
good lord torie is freaking gorgeous
incredible congrat
Thanks!
What do you do with them after you kill them?
Eddie Kearns we eat the young tender ones. Feed the rest to death eagles.
@@tccustomcalls I guess I need to round me up some death eagles!
Eddie Kearns they’ll clean up for you!
What call was she using
MFK diaphragm howler & MFK Double Slash. Order them at www.mfkgamecalls.com
is it my imagination or you both name tori / tory
lol! Yep!
Freaky Deaky
Why no camo?
Not necessary calling coyotes!
Wah sweetie so nice i like u and your hunting style nice u
HE'S HAED TO UNDERSTAND WITH THAT SOUTHERN DRAWL YOU CAN CUT WITH A KNIFE
You better mount that one.
Are you guys using mouthpieces and if you are could you possibly post this so I can see what things you're using and cuz I can't see you doing that by mouth now they're here this girl doing it but it sounds pretty wicked I like to have one of those
Marvin McNeil Yes, they're using diaphragms. mfkgamecalls.com
