Adria Twin Supreme 640 SGX 2020, huge garage, small cupboards

- As requested by some of my subscribers a look at Adria Twin Supreme 640 SGX 2020. Similar to the SLB in size and layout, what sets it apart is the huge double bed in the back that can be raised resulting in a massive garage that allows for you to basically take anyting you want with you. But there are some drawbacks.

Even over het heavy chassis normaal heeft een Van standaard een 3.3T chassis ook wel light chassis genoemd . Dit chassis heeft dikwijls een upgrade naar een 3.5T light chassis. Als optie kan je opteren voor een 3.5T heavy chassis dat zeer herkenbaar is aan de zwarte omlijsting van de voorste wielen .Een Heavy-chassis is technisch ook daadwerkelijk anders dan een Light-chassis. Zo heeft een Heavy-chassis een meer solide uitgevoerd platform en aandrijflijn. Bovendien heeft een Heavy-chassis grotere remmen waardoor er vaak dan standaard al een grotere inch-maat velg wordt toegepast met een andere steek-maat (16" i.p.v. 15").
Je verteld in je video dat je voor een heavy chassis een ander rijbewijs nodig hebt dat is niet waar gewoon rijbewijs B.

De twin is zoizo al een 3,5T, er zijn ook andere van’s die max 3,3T hebben. De H chassis is wel degelijk meer als 3,5T maar vraag me niet hoeveel het dan daadwerkelijk is. Maar dit valt dan volgens de wegcode in een andere categorie.
Of zou ik mij nu zo vergist hebben 🤔. Of zou de heavy chassis ook maar gewoon tot 3,5 gaan maar gewoon zwaarder uitgevoerd zijn? What is dan het nut kan je je afvragen. Ik weet dat er wel een ducato tot 4 ton is

Hi we just try to decide between the sgx and slb. What about the weight? I try to find information about the weight difference. I expect that there is much space in the sgx but you can not really use it until 3500 kg. Does anyone knows the weight allready? And is there a max weight you can put on the bed? Thank you. Might be wrong but I think the only difference between Light and
Heavy chassis - has bigger brakes and hubs also wheels hole fittings are different so alloys from Light and Heavy are not interchangeable
The H has the wide black plastic wheel arches to accommodate the wider track ?
I tried to order the Heavy chassis from Adria but it’s only available in EU Left Hand Drive so I was told by the dealer 😕

Is it at all possible for the shower hose to reach over the shower unit and out the window in order to use it as an outside shower or could this be possible with the use of a longer shower hose?
No on the first part of the question, maybe on the second
This 640 SXG model will only sell to off-road people if it had awd or 4x4 and heavier chassis, and then how much would it cost?
I don’t know if they offer those options and indeed good question, it will be expensive
Hi Van Lossie, I appreciate your videos (and envy your family life). In this video, however, there is a mistake: on minute 3:27 you show the electrically movable bed with a sticker stating a maximal load of 150 kg, which is not correct. It should read: 200 kg, that is what I was told by Adria Germany.

Great video. Do you prefer camper vans with a rear bed or rear lounge?
At the moment i prefer a rear bed. I love to lie down from time to time while others might be sitting in the dinette. Or in the morning the wife loves to sleep in while I enjoy my coffee.

It’s ok, these things indeed happen. I have some material left for some vids but finding the time and energy to edit is the issues. We’ll get there no worries. Definitely going to the UK at some point. Have no idea when that will be. If it is still happening, I will go to Düsseldorf for the caravan salon

@@markpullinger7324 no, because it has way less cupboards than mine. Not to mention the ones above the bed are so small they are almost not usable. So only if you have to bring a motercycle or something in the van I would go for the SLB
