It was like a meet and greet of professional tow truck drivers!!! Love the video
😂
Truly a pleasure to watch a skilled professional do his job. The owner to the Dodge was lucky that you were the one to move his vehicle.
pretty sure the car you towed was the only car out there that didn't get damaged during towing.... some of those other drivers aren't professionals by any means.
In some parts of the world, cars impounded related to street racing get crushed. They should feel lucky with a bit of minor damage......or they could have not done something so stupid on a public roadway.
@@Hooknspktr that's only after court.
Good job. Helping out the other guys shows your character, you are a good person.
They don't listen because I'm sure Mama and Daddy will pay for that tow. Smh
helpful hint. When driving your tow with an Allison auto transmission, make sure you come to a complete stop before shifting into different gear. You will save yourself a lot of money and prevent it from failing prematurely.
I like how you genuinely cared about the quality of the car after you tow it, most truckers I feel would just toss it around, like our truck got impounded one day and it came back with a dent (the impound was due to parking)
That’s why I document everything so no one can make a false damage claim!
This is the result of when you are given the opportunity to leave with your car and you ignore the officers request
I love the fact that you are always willing to lend a hand and help others. Nice job!! 👍👍
Thank You!
People on here talking about damaging cars yall were told to leave and its the consequences to your actions
Tow truck competition lol. Most of them must have just started today 🤣
Nothing against the others
But I’d rather have you tow my vehicle
I like your technique so much better than the other people that you've helped. Great, hurry up and go. I have to feel sorry for the people who were street racing. BUT THEY WERE WARNED!
Man what a FKN Clown show is going on here? Those other guys were lucky to have you there too lend them a hand or else it could have been really bad for them.
Continually impressed by Dustin's ability to quickly size up a situation and work out the angles needed to get a vehicle on the deck.
👍👍
Everyone running to they’re cars is great
They were warned! Watching the others hook up their vehicle shows they need more training, shows what a GREAT tow truck driver you really are.
I love this! So many tow trucks its a party!
Nicely done Dustin, as a former tow op, I sure can appreciate you taking the time to help out the "competitors" get hooked and clear. One sidenote, when you're spraying the deck to shake it off, you only need to hit one side of the drive tires, the rest will roll, unless AWD.
That’s what I did? But it was loaded backwards, so they slide off the length of the bed.
Police in CT need to take a page out of Texas’ book. These takeovers ruin the car community
Yep. I used to be very active in the local car scene. Now you can’t even have a peaceful meet without getting run off or this group showing up and ruining it for everyone
@@Towtruck_Dustin 100% it sucks to see it go down the drain cause it once was a good community to be apart of
As a CT resident and car guy I agree. I stopped going to meets a few years ago because nobody knows how to chill and not have the cops called.
@@FizireYT I used to go to a few over in Manchester back a couple years ago but now they almost always get cops called which is just a bad wrap cause they run and leave the ones who can’t run or don’t wanna to deal with their shit
You are still the most professional of all Dustin. Keep going.
What a good recovery very professional doing your job .The recovery company next to you need serious training before they kill someone and to load vehicles .got the gear but no i dear how to use it .And yes been in the trade for 15 years .
I love how after you where loaded up and ready to go you stayed and helped other tow drivers. ❤
Tow truck drivers are family..no matter what company you work for.
@@KevinPatrick-ov3otI always hated doing tow outs for the company down the street. People would get their vehicles impounded and be pissed off then call us to bring it back from were it was towed from.
To be fair. It's a traffic hazard with all the people walking around on the street. Because drivers have to brake suddenly to avoid the people in the middle of the road. Which can cause several accidents.
So I understand why the police shut it down.
5:44.A police officer said they were told to leave the scene an hour earlier but they didn't so they have themselves to blame for their car being towed away.
I passed by there everyday going to and from work. What they are doing on private property isn't the problem. It's all the idiots parking on the right of way, (road and ditch) It's a real surprise no one has gotten hit by a car or caused an accident.
Someone got lift flighted yesterday after we left unfortunately.
The tickets are one thing, but when all the owner see the bills for towing, they are going to wish they had left
You ain't kidding, I had my truck break down and I couldn't find anyone to pull me to the mechanic. My wallet has seen better days.
another great job by all the tow operators . see that the tow yard got some much needed upgrades , looks a lot better . great work Dustin .
It is reported that the words "Yo, dude, bro and bruh" were used quite a bit in various combinations by those on the side of the road.
You make me want to get into towing.
Lucrative I bet! 🤔
Bro! This is your coolest vid yet.
People can be so stupid. They were warned but did nothing. Another great video about a unique situation!
Good Dustin and that was cool of you to help out the other drivers
Great content Dustin! Really interesting to see how the tow scene works!
Thanks for watching!
14:48 not the voice I was expecting.
no wonder he didnt talk much
Its the Mickey Mouse guy!
Lmao I was expecting a American dad Stan type voice but nope 💀💀💀💀
@@NudaMan 😂😂
That was very interesting. Thanks for posting this.
Ive seen meets happen in parking lots with cops rolling through making sure everything is cool. Cops may have issued verbal warnings before calling the trucks. If you ignore them...that's on you.
I drove in Harris County for 26yrs. I now work in the medical field. Some of the Best People I Ever Met Was In The Towing Industry! All the people saying this or that. I say this, The Deputies are the ones Having The Vehicles Towed. Not The Tow Truck Drivers. Dustin, some people just don't understand. When The Bed Drops, The Bulls..t Stops! I pray that You will always make it Home to Your Family Safely Everyday! Godspeed My Tow Brother!!!
True the cops are the ones ordering the tow, but if they did not agree to work with the biggest corrupt gang in the world then none of the cars would have been stolen from these people. Also the tow industry is just as corrupt on everything they do from having spotters the BS amount they charge for a tow drop fees 50 times as much as they should charge I could go on forever about them . But you all get my point.
Funny I saw the video of them doing the burnouts and was amazed at the tow trucks. And now i get tow truck POV
14:50 Dude just took a hit of helium 🗣️ I DONT KNOW!
Lmao 😂
Talk about a bunch of flatbed drivers that don't know what they're doing! 🤣😂🤣 This video is a shitshow!
Thank you all for cleaning up this shit!!
The next video will reference this one. It got crazy after we left.
Thanks for the video!😊
Thanks for watching!
After watching this video, I now know how to use the tie down straps easier. Even though I am a lot slower. I can now also help others tying down items. Thanks.
Notice they only want the high dollar cars not the pos sounds like a robbery to me
The cops didn’t even get the cars… they go to our yard where the owner can get them out immediately.
for free?
@@maxsav007 no they get the money from when the owner comes to get the car from lockup.
@@Towtruck_Dustin you guys dont charge from the lot fees? Or do you not make money on this exchange?
@@Brix0nBrix i was being sarcastic
The cops didn’t just show up, the drivers were all warned hours prior to move their vehicles but didn’t. It’s called consequences! I bet the next time they’ll listen to simple instructions. 😂
"Warned" how exactly? There aren't any No Parking signs posted at all on that street. Cops can't just show up and tow legally parked cars. Well, they can but doesn't make it right and legal. This is disgusting behavior of the cops and tow trucks.
@@timb7775 can you not see that those cars were in the grass? Possibly someone's private property that called the police?
consequences?????bootlicker or communist????no due process, cops dont own roads,we do.Stealing ones property under color of what law???A time limit?yea thats the America i wanna live in when i grow up
People were told to leave, they didn’t. “Now yous can’t leave.”
Got the reference right away!
A BRONX TALE 🙂
I was there they did tell people to leave but block the entrance play purposely made all of that up they made it drastic because they thought it was a striker there no one has stolen cars😂😂😂
Ruh ro they got Mommy and Daddy’s cars towed! 🤣🤡
Since so many just has a knee jerk reaction to this video and did not watch all the way though. They were warned by the police several hours before to move.
Still, ZERO excuse to damage other people's vehicles.
@@user-hv3gj5we5j There was zero excuse to not move your car when told to.
People need some serious training on towing and recovery
damn great job dustin first time seeing one of your videos and boom hooked up ready to go then started helping out your competition damn good job brother keep up the hard work
Thank You! Glad you’re enjoying the content!
A lot of people just don't know how valuable the snatch block is. I always used it. 😊😊
That was a little pressure there. Glad it went smoothly without any agro. Do that and they might learn or move onto another spot. Either way it's an expensive car meet for the ones that got towed. Good job Dustan. Stay safe see you on the next one 😊
A Car meet with factory stock cars having a farting sound muffler replaced is not a car meet rather just a parking lot at a convenience store.
It wasn’t a car meet afaik, some people said a drifting event on a private property. Either way all these dudes did was park illegally
NO One seems to Understand Simple English but I can Promise you they’ll Understand when they need to Stop by the ATM to get Cash to Bail their Wheels🤪👎
Armchair QB here since I'm not a towing guy, but I didn't see anything on your tow that even Ron Pratt would disapprove As far as the owners ignoring the warning that LEO would be towing and followed through that's on them. IMO
Such immature people flipping you off at the end😂
CZcamsr H&R Cars was there
Why don’t people listen, this is what will happen
Wow that's was a little intense and a rush to get it om but you did, great job dustin👍
Im convinced that behind the construction industry, tow companies are the biggest purchasers of wood lol.
Don’t park where you’re not supposed to, it’s not that hard.
It's amazing that it seems like your the only one that knows what you're doing. YOU NEED HAVE TOW TRUCK TOWING SCHOOL YOU COULD MAKE SOME GOOD MONEY.
Great content Dustin. I go to alot of car shows and never seen anything where you parked in a muddy ditch illegally
Black burnt rubber on rear quarters yea he been doing burn outs
If you can do donuts and risk damaging your car, then you can pay for a scratched rim 😂 Thanks for the video Dustin.
Not sure who scratched their wheel. Wasn’t me. That’s why I used the proper equipment to avoid damage.
@@Towtruck_Dustin Yes and perfectly showing you used the proper equipment. With the best explanation. 👍🏻
Wow! A bit scary. I’m glad you all got out of there alright. Those cars were parked in some deep culverts. I hope none of the cars got damaged.
It looks like you've done a few recoveries in your time!!!
Just a few lol
Some of those guys were painful to watch
This is fucking awesome!! Good work!!
Hey brother I am sure glad you're there to give them a helping hand. The other drivers make it look hard lol
It’s amazing how difficult other drivers make their job. I often think they over complicate things
awesome video lol we have it worse here in cali we call them street takeovers great job keep up the great work and i like the scanner traffic
This wasn't a takeover. Legally parked on side of road to go to a nearby property
@@mrmotofyQuit saying it was legally parked!! It wasnt on private property!! It was parked on County property and the county has every right to have it towed away!!
@@briangallagher9426 It's legal to park on the side of virtually any public road unless it's posted No Parking. They weren't abandoned cars
Some of these guys make this harder than it really is. The guy with the Nissan needed to get his deck on the road. It would have went right up.
17:10 all those ole timers there and nobody knows how to use a piece of wood as a snatch block? I’m surprised!!!
Lot of guys out there that have been at it for years and still dont know what they are doing when not given roll on/ roll off cars. Which electronic parking brakes and electronically actuated trans are making more and more common 🤔
We had the same thing In Wildwood NJ Illieagle street racers where they towed Cars
This isn’t street racing. Even street racers don’t condone this kind of activity.
Have you tried to use engine cleaner to help the tires slide when unloading? Because then when you power wash your deck it helps clean off the oil also.
😂😂😂 you were about the only one who knew how to work a snatch block and winch
It's a great job
15:48 👀 😂 16:22 🤦♂️ I like that you stayed to try and help other people out. Clearly some people need some training. Good job getting it done! They should’ve given you 2 cars to double up.
We asked. But they said 1 each. Basically just to get they point across that they need to leave lol
@@Towtruck_Dustin I get it. Good job though.
Enjoyed the video.
Glad you’re enjoying the content! Thanks for watching!
Get a set of wheel skates and forget the wd40, also helps a lot when pulling a car up straight when the wheels are turned
Nope. A lot easier to use WD40. Skates have their place.
@@Towtruck_Dustin Yeah, Way easier to give it the shaky shaky. Not your car so who cares right?
Honestly, the exhaust appears to have been bent or damaged during the unloading process. It would have been advisable to utilize wooden shims to aid in the loading and unloading procedure.
Nope. No damage done.
I new here good job Dustin
That’s what happens when you turn the public road into your personal race track. People don’t learn till it cost them money
Love this!!
Damn they must sell these cars to anybody cause it’s only brainless people that always end up at these meets loosing their cars.
Dustin, you could put one on the wheel lift couldn’t you? Seems some of the drivers need some training with you Dustin.
The shoulder was not blocked and besides that they can park on the shoulder unless there is a sign stating otherwise. They broke no laws
This is exactly what I'm thinking. Cops and tow trucks should be charged with felony car theft.
These kids doing their street takeovers aught to find somewhere else to do this mfs when they go and find somewhere else to do it. Ffs, can't just leave car enthusiasts alone for nothing
It’s definitely a cancer to the car scene.
Crazy part is, they brought it off the streets to a private property. There's not enough parking on property so they park off side of street(some weren't legally parked and down on other private property, but I bet you those property owners didn't call cops) so then the cops come to stop the burnouts but can't legally, so they find a loop hole to get cars towed as retaliation..
@@ChevyLivin710 Doesn't matter, if enough people complain about it, it becomes a public disturbance and legal grounds to tow it
I remember my first time doing a group impound for my city.
As the owner of a 2018 Dodge Challenger R/T Shaker if it ever has to be towed hope the on there game like you
They should've let the flatbed trucks get 2 vehicles
We asked. But this wasn’t about getting as many as possible. If you watch the latest video, you’ll see what all this turned into.
the amount of haters on this video equal to the amount of cars towed or more, i betchu it's literally the owners LMAO. Good stuff
Bunch of kids crashing mommy and daddy’s cars.
Go spend a 100 grand on your ride and see how you like it.Most scum who are in agrrement with such tyranny, couldnt afford to spend that on where they live.Where do you fit in with you schwinn???
Me seeing this thankful I jumped in a wheel lift 9 years ago
WOW.good One 💪👍
Did the cops also hire the worst tow companies to grab these things as more of a punishment. Good lord were these just homeless people they gave flatbeds to?
You did an excellent job young man very professional
Just glad you got out of there alive
Younger generation need to know that there’s consequences to their actions and today’s society they have none they’ve never been told no or if they have been told no they just don’t listen
Just think how great government just add it over 8 million wannabes
If I was you I’d be packing
✊🇺🇸
For legally Parking on the side of a public road, to go to a private property? Where's the issue? Where's the no parking signs. No signs it's legal to Park if you're not impeding a lane
I would love to do your job. I like cars and working outside. I now that there are even cold days but I would like doing this.
I love it. Couldn’t see myself doing anything else.
“The Mountain of Right “ the FAFO of Brazoria County 👍🏼🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁
Those takeovers ain't car culture it's 8=D culture.. real car culture is hanging out with friend and riding at night a little race or two for fun and then grub a breakfast.
Agreed. I used to be very active in the car/race scene. I’ve had many Mustangs. I’ve got a big single turbo coyote currently.
@@Towtruck_Dustin nice.. I had a 90 eagle talon two tone purple with gray or black I think don't recall..at time I did not know what I had I was young 🌱 it was 2008 I thought it was old I sold the car and got a Evo x I wish I could have kept it both of them.
Not a takeover. This is a private pit in the middle of nowhere. They were parking on the side of the road and the cops towed them
I never considered purposefully putting my car in a ditch.
