the modular design really lookslike they made a base set of pcbs and can assemble them in various configurations depending on what model the market demands, should be a very fast way through the dev cycle and also certification. given how expensive conenctors are, it is very pleasing to see them building an easily repairable product.

I bought this unit in early June 2023, I charged it up to full charge then put it away, the unit is completely off, I pulled it out today 9-28-2023 and the batteries are completely empty, so it does have phantom power draw that will drain the batteries in about 3 months.
Can you please do the current draws test from the batteries when nothing is on? I am curious as to how much power it uses just sitting there when it is all off.

I found with this product that the 240v 3pin plugs didn't fit snugly to the casing so small fingers could touch live parts. I reviewed this on Amazon and the company offered money to remove my review!!!!! Can't charge this item from a car either.

Interesting, where I used to work our computer room had a GE 500Kva 3 Phase quad inverter maintained UPS with a natural gas powered generator to keep the power on for long power cuts. It only needed three of the four inverters and auto switched them around to make sure they were all okay. The thing was it caused more grief than no UPS at all. To maintain it it had a 3 phase bypass switch and the instructions said to warn the customer of the power glitch (which they did not) and it caused a major outage. And yes, one night we had a real power cut but the generator never started and the service company were 300 miles away! (20 mins of battery power). We ended up having the more important servers and Lan hardware having their own extra normal UPS units in the LAN room.
I see they have made a couple of changes to the R600 and my one has no DC jack sockets or covers over the UK sockets.

Any chance you could read the markings on the MPPT board of the 8 pin SOP chip that is closes to the fuse (solar input side). I accidentally crossed polarity and it fried that chip instantly - No reverse polarity protection. Allpowers does not sell this board separately (asked), so looking to source a replacement chip (fuse is easy to replace and also appears to be blown). Thanks and great teardown. Think the chip say 8WK6NA, or 8WKENA? but that is my best guess.

I've got an earlier version of this (and an earlier version of the solar briefcase). Really nicely built device and ran an electric coolbox all day on the hottest day of the year last year (with the panel on the car roof).

That's Pretty Cool. I had always wondered if it was just a pile of cells or a glorified car battery haha

Had 2 of these both failed with error e207 and failing to recharge and second one has just packed in all together shutting down at 50% charge now wont do anything. Returned for refund going to get the Ecoflow river 2 pro, about 3 times what I paid for this but more than twice the capacity too.

Do you have an idea how to lower the fan noise? Is it the fan itself or the echo?

hi, can you make a test to fully drain the battery until it wont turn on. then see if it will turn on by plugging it again? I seem to have my unit not to work anymore after that. can you also advice how to fix that issue too if that happens?

Can you verify if the inverter is totally turned off when plugged into the wall and being used as a UPS? All power stations I've encountered has the inverter powered on, draining the batt when being used as UPS, then it recharges the batt every 1-2hrs.

Mine made a pop noise and it doesn't power up anymore. I plugged both USB-C out at 100W, a 12V device and another car adapter device. The total was about 400W DC when it pops. What could it be?

ELEMENT14, Which Power Banks can power small portable refrigerators and window AC units? it would be nice to know which Power bands can deliver the wattage for small portable refrigerators and window AC units so you don't have to use the 120Vac home wall outlets

does the 12v car socket have a fuse inside as i used tire compressor which siezed causing amps to go over 10amp i guess anyway 12v no longer outputs but all other functions work fine ac/dc all good thanks

      @scottblackadder2910 Před 25 dny

@srenpedersen3294 no I haven't without opening it up to see if there is a fuse but I've purchased a mains to 12v car adapter which will do the job mind you that is only 5amp

@@scottblackadder2910 Thanks. Had the same thoughts, but 5A is not enough, and I had hoped to find a solution to fix the original problem. I will keep searching!

    15:46 : 62.3V normal voltage ? Nominal voltage of LiFePo4 are 3.2V, 3.2x16 = 51.2V. I do not understand where those 62.3V come from ..
What's impressive, i got one for 120€ .. and i do not even understand how they got those prices ... !

  • @story1234

When I use the R600 100% charged and plug-in, DC at 100w will drain it to 90%. There’s no pass thru, it will drain the battery.

These are not for appliances. They’re not capable of running a coffee pot. If you buy one you find it for yourself they will run DVD players recharge your iPhone maybe run your small computers, but they will not sustain energy for the battery is designed to shut down so if you don’t believe what I’m saying, buy one and you’ll find out I’m telling the truth. I don’t know why everybody’s trying to praise devices. They’re trying to be salesman or just make a video. Can somebody answer that question?😊
