    I did not know that about the mirrors. I liked how the blue lines make it easier to park. I did not know that either. This another reason why I watch the “Kia Class” and the daily live videos from Brantford Kia. Thanks Peter 😊

      My next challenge is going to be to continue to come up with these twice a week. We have several planned in the coming weeks that may be a little more obvious to some people, but we'll continue to try to surprise people with unique features that they may not have known about. Those yellow lines that swing when turning the steering wheel are very helpful when used to back into parking spaces that are perpendicular to the curb, like at malls for instance.
    Set the car so it's approx 45 degree angle to the open space, stop, put it in reverse and turn the wheel so the distal corners of the yellow box stay on the lines of the open space.
    As you're backing up use the steering wheel to keep the distal corners of the yellow box on the lines of the parking spot and keep them there adjusting as needed as you swing into the spot. Works every time. I haven't read through all the comments so maybe someone else has discovered this but if done properly turns a novice into a pro instantly. They'll start calling you 'oneshot'.

      Hello. I believe those "pings" are telling you where to turn. They tend to go off AT the intersection while the voice tells you to get ready to turn, the ping will tell you that you're now at the spot. I know that you can adjust the overall navigation sound volume up or down, but I'll have to look into if you can turn the ping noises on or off.

      I believe that may also be the NAV warning you of Photo Radar Intersections or Speed zone changes. My SX Seltos will beep at me when coming up to an intersection with red light cameras. Very handy feature.

      Yes, it seems to always ‘ping’ when I turn a corner at a specific point. Now that I know what it is, I can relax and further enjoy this magnificent vehicle !
      One more question, as I have the 2.0l Plus 2 with halogen daytime driving lights, would I be able to fit LED’S ?
      Would this affect the warranty and is it easy to exchange myself please?

    • @MetalJacksonRR3
      @MetalJacksonRR3 Před 3 lety

      @@vspeaight I believe all the lights can be changed out for LED's no problem. I don't know the part numbers or anything. There are some videos on light upgrades on CZcams and on the KIA Seltos Australian Facebook group page If I'm not mistaken. People there know the part numbers.
      Peter can speak better towards warranty though, haha. I would suggest keeping all the factory lights around just in case you ever have a problem you may be required to reinstall the original lights before it can be serviced.

    2023 Kia Sportage ex hybrid here and this does not happen. Not that it really matters, but the window switch does not have a neutral position, only left or right. I really wish that the tilt function worked 'cause these mirrors are just a bit too small. Only quibble I have besides this would be lack of a front sensor. Don't need a camera, but just a tone as in reverse would be nice. First Kia and I love it.

    The mirror tilting feature doesn't seem to work on the 2022 Niro. Is it something that's only on some models/trims and not on others or was it discontinued in 2022? Is it still there in Canada and possibly only available in North American cars and not European ones?
