Blender Studio is the creative part of the Blender HQ. A dedicated team of artists and developers challenge themselves with creative-technical targets to help Blender users and to drive Blender development forward. This happens in an open source production environment and by sharing everything they make in an open and free license. - Zábava
It looks so incredible already! Really Love the idea of PBR functioning below the surface while the Stylization works on top of it
I love how all the creatives from Pixar who once worked there are now working with Blender to make some amazing pieces!
I hope to see more from Blender Studios
as i was working for a big AAA gaming company where the director never showed up except for online meetings, to repeat hollow messages without any clear vision or guidance, this was really heartwarming to see. i think modern industry titans underestimate the value of a team being physically together and enhancing eachothers creativity, the best work seems to come from teams who work closely together.
🤣🤣🤣
This is the best vlog video yet! i don't know what's different, but it is a much more enjoyable experience than the old vlogs for pet projects!
I need that volumetric brush strokes setup !! MIND BLOWING
i love how the team can shift between styles, going from something realistic like charge, to pet project, and now this is super impressive.
Lol, the storyboard artist tension/competition was hilarious. Looking great.
8:09 ✨PB-NPR✨Yes!
This answered the rendering mystery I was facing with Eevee NPR and cycles PBR :D
Which was how to get an NPR-stylized look in cycles while preserving the PBR aspect.
This question has been fighting in my mind for some time now, and I'm relieved.
Thank you, Blender Studio! ♥
It's incredible how quickly you guys are able to make these project. This one already looks amazing, I can't wait!
The artstyle is beautiful, from concept to design. Really interesting to see all the initial concept art put up on the boards for everyone to look at and think about. It gives an insight into the creative chemistry that goes on whilst a project like this is nurtured from dream to reality.
It's great to see these passionate artists working together 🌟Keep flying up, Blender Team.
The amount of work put behind the visual style and how it connects with the narrative is amazing. Those painterly waves are mesmerizing, can't wait!
Loving the vlog! This was such a cool breakdown and to see how they're developing the brush strokes from real-life painting. Can't wait to watch more!
Can't wait, the idea and artstyle are so inspiring. Love the main character design. And alsways cool to see more behind the scene stuff like that. Thanks Haru for those production vlogs.
Thank you, Blender! 💛
I'm so exited for about everything that came out of this video. I'm beyond exited to see other production log and ultimatly the end product, seriously this looks like such an awesome production
Ohh really cool to see more context ontop of the already wonderful production log
Amazing. I always feel inspired every time I see the Blender team taking on this incredible projects.
Man I was feeling down because of a fight I had at home, her just telling, a quick version of the story motivated me :)
This is gonna be good.
Thank you for the insights! Felt like i was sitting next to you guys and listening in. Very well edited
Blender studio, PVLS ULTRA! GO beyond!
Amazing !!! Super-well done, Love the brush strokes.
Magical use of techniques. Truly inspiring.
Can't wait to see it!
Can't wait 😍
I feel like this is going to be my favourite Blender project 😊 so glad I've donated to the Blender foundation
I think blender studio is getting ahead of even AAA studios in terms of pushing the artistic creativity with the brush tech. From what I can see the results already look intriguing. I need to subscribe to the site again for sure
wow! This is looking great.
This looks already insane!
damn this got some good art-style
Looks awesome!
I love every bit of this.
It all started with a cube in the middle ❤
dolphin goes bloop bloop
Never had a truer sentence ever been uttered
This is absolutely amazing work
Inspirational! I hope to see some more technical demonstrations of these painterly techniques soon!!!
in-depth tutorial on the stylization PLEASE! I NEED IT! PLEEEEEASE!
7:52 Arcane character design references. Knew it !
Now imagine Arcane inspired art design in Blender. I'd give anything to see it!
@@AlexiosLair Lightning boy studio produced a great example but they are now busy with dinomancers project. Maybe in the future we can see some other examples from them.
Yeah Fortiche made a landmark production with Arcane, especially in this 2D-3D hybrid painterly style. Gonna continue inspiring other productions for ages to come.
It looks very promising !
Just.... wow
Really has a Great look!😃
Y'all got dis👊
It is really cool to see that team is using Krita for their concept arts and for creating the brushes atlases. I am not sure if Blender Studio uses only free and Open Source software (same as Blender) to create their projects? The artstyle look amazing and I am looking forward to see the finished product. Keep the awesome work guys :).
Ton Roosendal, the founder and director of the Blender organisation, is absolutely passionate about free and open source software. It's his life's 'mission', and why we have blender today. I would imagine that everything they use is open source. If it wasn't, it would run counter to his core philosophy.
I love the artstyle too. Very beautiful and professional.
Thanks
Awesome work!
Awesome! I've wished in my dreams that you guys would do something like that haha!
Wow!
C'mon, Blender Studio... this looks LOVELY so far, but a Painterly project where you neglect actual Texture Painting...? It's a missed opportunity!
Good luck!
this is so insane
🔥🔥
I can see they opted to for the strong-female-character haircut. Check!
this Rik and Pablo beef is crazy
This would be insanely amazing to see NPR brush shader setup!
Where is ton though
omg
Nice
If brush strokes from annotation work to be deformed by meshes (rig-weights-vertex groups), as shown in the video... Why are grease pencil objects not being bound (weighted) to an armature (rig) in Blender 3.6, 4.0, and 4.1?
Fam ❤
I loved it, it's fantastic. I would love for some to be in Spanish if it's not a bother.
Can you bring these new brushes into blenders texture paint for the whole blender community to use?
Will the strokes shader(s) be available to download from the Blender page when the movie gets released? if I remember well, the previous fil had its assets available as well, hadn't it?
I am assuming some feature is coming to blender🤪🤪, I have to learn again...😢
The banter between the two storyboard artists; so funny. (sorry I don't know their name).
Rik and Pablo.
Looks gorgeous! I would love to work on it. If you need a 3D Animator let me know 😉
WERE IS AGENT 327 PLS
Who is the person that uses Krita in 3:54? I want to talk with her about feedback please. Maybe an interview for the official Krita’s channel? I do that tasks or written where Irina es the responsable
Kuwuhara... Kwuara... Kuhuhara...
Some of the art here looks a lot like Eliza ivanovas work, does anyone know if she's working on this project?
Yes, she did the character designs. They turned out absolutely fantastic!
この作品のCZcamsチャンネルは分かったけど、作品多すぎて作品名も教えて欲しい
Too bad the project was canceled cause it wasn't making great progress as everyone was too laid back with a lack of animation pipeline experience, and eventually the funds ran out.
I would be great if you had added some real hair or simulations and improve them instead of covering it with brush strokes. Blender is still missing them and thats really sad.
