Hurricane Salvaged Outboard. FUEL SYSTEM PROBLEMS. 2021 Suzuki 150.

Just change the plugs and add fuel! If only it was that easy. I had high hopes this motor would start right up after a little fuel system trouble shooting...

Vapor separator has high pressure fuel pump for fuel injection within. Check that it's supplying plenty of fuel at 30 or 40psi to injectors. Water can seize up pump motor.

Replace that fuel pump in the vst you took off. It’s not pumping that’s your issue

Taking it apart again. I saw a video of some guys who fixed one that was frozen. Going to give that a try… that pump is like $400 to replace 😵

@@carlweekend $400 is not to bad. I just had to change the fuel reservoir / pump on my E-Tec and the cost was $900.

I had same problem its those gas cans they dont vent good loosen the cap on the gas can so it can vent to be able to suck fuel

It pumps fuel well! I have had the onboard fuel tank soaking with cleaner. Hope to be hooked back up the the regulate fuel tank soon!

Tank isn’t the issue if it’s having trouble running on fuel that’s poured straight into the manifold
