The way she descends and hits the shadja at the Sam so perfectly in every avartan rightly potrays golden droplets hitting earth, the yellow flowers of Basant and so is the bandish, Kanak boond parilwa! (Translation: the yellow flowers are in full bloom, it appears to be a shower of gold!) Her exceptional command over the medium and emotion is just uncanny. Gaansaraswati for a reason!
There are no words to describe the mesmerizing impact of Kishoi Ji's amazing command over swar,tal,laya etc.She is really an incarnation of godess Saraswati on Earth.We are really blessed to relish her music.simply exotic ,transporting and. soul enthralling.

The Chhota Khayal is Hindol as well. The cheez was apparently a folk song originally which she adapted in Hindol. She uses Rishabh quite generously, which is probably why it sounds unlike Hindol.
It is such a beautiful composition - Gale laga jao more sajna, bahut dinan ka bichuran kailo. Ab to na tadpao. Haven't heard a rendition in Hindol as beautiful as this one.

I personally don't think so. I agree to the fact that Nandini jee does a better sangat. But if you have a look at what year was this rendered, Devaki pandir jee was still under the guidance of pandit vasantrao kulkarni. So I think it is a good effort by a student.
have you not heard her off the key in a million programs ? if I may, compare her to Aarti Ankalikar ji, you would be surprised by the stark contrast.Her , Aartiji's span is far far extensive and so is her reach.

"galey lag jaao" is Hindol? Too much shuddh Ni and an explicit shuddh Re make it sound very different to me.

Her voice is too thin and fragile, hence, unsuitable in classical terms for classical music, especially, the khayal.
