He did that so the tower shot hits him sooner since he ulted. If he walks away the tower shot uses more time to travel to him in which that point he risks his death since his ult would run out!

That tower shot wasnt extra. He wouldve get hit by it either way, the question is if you get hit by it before or after your ult runs out, so he turned back a bit to get hit sooner before his ult ends

I love how everyone hates irelia, while there is trynd with 3 clicks to kill you. I get when you are a challenger or grandmaster, or other high elo, and you face a lot of irelia one tricks, or just good players. But, when goldies are hating her it is just pathetic
