Me also, he dies survive the bombs, they did an extended version where he’s in the water, that’s why I put “it’s not over yet” but why he didn’t have a happy ending I don’t know. Why not drive in the sunset all three.

So he can no more live with, love them. He became a walking bomb. And he decided to be killed (incinerated) by the missiles coming to incinerate the whole complex were the virus had grown. He never escaped, he will be a danger for all mankind, he HAD not only to be killed, but also to be incinerated, as the virus cannot be eradicated.
You didn’t saw the movie it seems, it is sad. And please stop saying that OHMSS is the best James BOND ever. The music is fantastic (thank you Louis Armstrong for such a legacy).
But the movie is very very boaring. It is largely under Sean Connery (including Never Say Never Again), Thimoty Dalton, and even Pierce Brosnan. I put appart Roger Moore, who as for me polluted the franchise.
I was lucky enough as a teen to go on theater to see the first movie, named only (Dr. NO). It was really a big (good) shock to every peoples. And then began the « James Bond mania ». For me, it was a revelation. I devoured the Iqn Flemming books. And I began to be a James Bond fan. I really loved Sean Connery, who was a charming, seductive, but regurlarly becoming calmly violent or vicious. He never hesitated to kill the ‘bad boys’. (The double zero agents have a « License to Kill », after they assassinate 3 peoples). Sean Connery was a charismatic JB, as was Timothy Dalton, and even Pierce Brosnan.
And then came Daniel CRAIG. I had some doubts on this guy, who I thought was a sort of playboy, an adonis without brain, in the adaptation of the first book of the JB saga, Casino Royale. I was really impressed because the movie followed the book, the way James Bond become 007, the torture he suffered (the beats on the testicules) etc. And the four movies after (Quantum of Solace, Spectre, Nightfall finishing by the fantastic Death Can Wait) have a formidable continuity, they have to be viewed all them one after the other. Death can Wait is a quite logical end of Daniel Craigg’s 007 saga.

There's only one Bond film and one Bond that truly stands the test of time and that is OHMSS with George Lazenby.
I was looking him up, there’s a doc on why he never played bond again, I loved this bond, but I love classical bond, but with Daniel Craig’s version, we did get to know him from a confident Bond, with a love journey, which most films seems to lack. Not many strong male leads anymore, this was an attempt to share bond with another 007, it nearly didn’t work, but I enjoyed the female leads and call backs to other characters on his journey. Why did they have to kill off couldn't him let him retire from the service and live happily ever after with his partner and his beautiful daughter I have never cried in a James bond film until now im not ashamed to admit it
I know but some hope, there is an alternative version where he survives, but with his nano tech, I’m sad myself that they went that way, just for once couldn’t they do a happy ending, yep my friend it chokes me up to, I put out this rough version, I didn’t realise so many people would watch it, I’ll be doing more film videos soon, just been caught up in other videos, but no need to feel ashamed at crying, us guys all do it, especially with one of the last make strong hero’s they tried to dilute his strong male image, but I think Daniel Craig done 007 a great service, and it’ll be shown for years to come, just that end chokes me up also, thank you for commenting I appreciate it 👍
I think he had enough of playing James Bond , but I would have loved to see him live happily and retire , but life’s not perfect I suppose
@@carolannelewis8510 me also, killing him off was so sad, but theres an alternate ending that shows he didn't die, but still has to never contact or be with his girlfriend or daughter again due to him being infected by a who-weapon. so he can never be around people again, it does sow in other of his films he does enjoy his own company, so I'd like to think he did live in some peace after all. that's what's suggested I think, I may be wrong but I agree mam, thank you for commenting and watching, I love you so much. your the light within this life with God shining is light upon us God bless you love and honour you praise Jesus amen.
I cried when Diane Ring was killed in the final reel of OHMSS. Now that truly was an unexpected ending. But of course Bond can't be married and so she had to go, although I would have ended the film and the franchise with their wedding. All the Bond films since have been crap, especially the Roger Moore and Pierce Brosnan one's. Even Daniel Craig's efforts are so-so. The Bourne Identity films are far superior to all post-OHMSS Bond films.
