This year I'm gonna build a Gispy Danger suit from Pacific Rim movie and this vídeo is very helpfull.
Im planing to use servos for the gauntlet to make the sword pop out from the left arm and to make a blast in the right hand.
My project deadline is October, so I have a lot of work!

Thanks for sharing these tips and code! Much appreciated. I have built several suits but need to do some servo work to get some areas motorized. Did you have any suggestions for back flaps with servos?
you should be able to use this same code with backflaps, just adjust the servo angles to ones that work with the flaps
@@PrintsandProps im doing the lights alone for my helmet. Do I need a resistor, or just the copper tape, and battery pack? And how many leds can be powered off of 3.0v?
Great video! I just have one question: how am I supposed to connect the voltage regulator? I tried following the schematic provided with soldering but no light is emitted. The voltage regulator heats up, but neither the power led or the eye leds light up. Sorry if this is a simple fix, I'm a beginner when it comes to electrical things like this.
Had anyone had this with a sort of a push button switch instead of magnetic reef switch?

After you lay them down how do you separate them to make the gaps? When you lay them on the tape, doesn't it now cover the gaps?

Where should I connect the Magnetic switch? I don't see in the schematics. Please advise as I'm about to solder all the electronic components.
Update: finally figured it out.

I've got a wonderful idea. Switch the cameras. We don't want to see you, we want to see the helmet. A 20 minute video of you talking with a few minutes of a teenie tiny helmet in the corner is not informative....
