I have been using your colora for 1 year and I am very happy! It's gorgeous and easy to apply. I wanted to use the HVLP gun to cover with 2K clear. I'm writing from Italy and I can't find the paint you recommend in the video. Can you give me some advice on the brand of paint available in Italy to use so as not to have problems? Does it come out lighter if a white or grey coat is used instead of black?
Yes it sure does!
Will 2k clear in the rattle can work with this instead of using the airbrush 2k clear? that stuff is expensive

Do you know if Duplicolor 1k gloss clear coat will work as a topcoat, or will it "gray" out the chrome?
I recommend against that particular brand! It works sometimes, but it’s very hit or miss

One more question on the duplicolor 1k. Can I use the duplicolor 1k to coat the black base coat before applying the chrome over it?
PC PBT does it need a heat chamber 110°C???
Do you recommend a clear coat to use on your typical airbrush?
You can use 2k in an airbrush with no issues. Just make sure to clean well with the appropriate solvent

I’m looking to paint a 3D resin printed Mandalorian model. I live in a small apartment with poor (no) ventilation. So no rattle cans, or toxic fumes. What airbrushable gloss primer, clear coat would you recommend? Is this paint good for small, fine details?
As a person whos only experince with painting was with finger paint and glitter +40 years ago I found this really easy to use in painting my desktop computer case.
Any chance anyone knows exactly what cloth was used for the polishing bit? I have plenty of microfiber cloths but I would like to be sure about it. Thank you!
I used a really fine and soft microfiber cloth I got from Walmart and it worked well for me.
Any other clear coat you can recommend other than 2k

After your final clear coat. 3000 grit sandpaper followed by automotive polish until shiny

Hi, what was the psi level you used for your airbrush? "All the way up" kinda leaves a lot to interpretation lol.
I’m honestly not sure. I have a 30 gallon compressor and my pressure elbow was all the way out. So basically as much pressure as your compressor can supply

So no sanding the clearcoat before applying the duralumin? Very counterintuitive to how I normally do my work (automotive painter)

How do you polish dust specks out?
Sand with a high sand paper (your polishing compound will say what number to use normally 1200-2000) then using a polishing compound or multiple compound to cut and buff like any automotive finishing.
The mask a poly-urethane makes it better than movie grade (CGI) practically perfect effects.
How would one come across commissioning this suit to be made for them?

Hey man, so can you just clarify because it wasn’t super clear in the video, you can use any gloss base coat for duralumen? And it will take practically any type of clear coat? I want to avoid using expensive 2k clears. I want to be able to get quality chrome effects but using rattle can paints for the base coat and tinted top coats. It’s this possible?
It is possible, but difficult. Spraymax sells 2k clear in a rattle can

That's cool. I use alclad chrome with 2 layers of clear coat because it doesnt go well with 2k clear. I will check it out for sure.
you pobably can make a version that is smaller, but then it would take a fuckton of power and pressure and wouldnt catch everything
