Dude got punched in the balls by a toddler, broke an expensive tv, and the worse thing to happen to him was the realization that he’s stuck with that kid for life.
.. That is not the worst thing that happened to him.. Him breaking that TV was a direct result of how he chose to handle the TV in the first place.. his lack of common sense (well; Foresight) is the worst thing that happened to him..
The kid will move out, but you can't cure stupid.

I'd put him up against a Cassowary, which is basically a modern day velociraptor. They have a 5 inch long kicking claw which has killed people and are extremely territorial and aggressive.
