  • You know, if anybody ever caught you looking at the Bible and reading it, and thinking; "I think this is just metaphorical here and not literal." People would recoil in horror, like you've just denied inspiration. The literal meaning isn't the one that we use when we think something's real, and the metaphorical meaning isn't something we use when we're denying something is real. That is not true. Check this out!

Satan pretends to be a Christian so he can get real close to them before plunging the dagger in their back. It’s stunning how obvious it is and yet so many cannot/will not see it. He’s basically a spy used to infiltrate and mislead. It was happening even in the days of the apostles and is how satan’s people operate and this channel is packed with them role playing. It’s cyber warfare and Christians don’t have the foggiest clue they are the #1 targets even though the very bible they are supposed to know shows their basic tricks and warns against their plans. If they cannot see, it’s because God has blinded them for holding the truth in unrighteousness and blow this stuff off as “conspiracy theory.”

When I became a Bible believing Christian in the late 80's, I remember Christian authors say, "You read the Bible literally where it makes sense to do so." That works pretty good for me. Worshiping the Lamb of God makes no sense unless you realize that Lamb is Jesus.

Just as many of the official 'Prayers to Mary' listed on the Vatican resource page are word for word IDENTICAL to prayers found on excavated ISIS temples from 1st-4th century Rome. We have recently translated records from Epiphanius who talked about all of this in the 4th century and would warn women making bread offerings to Mary Queen of heaven because they had been led to believe Mary was an incarnation of ISIS. Vs 54, "Whoever eats My flesh, and drinks My blood, has eternal life; and I will
raise him up on the last day." Did He say to eat the symbol of His flesh?
Vs 55, Jesus said, "For My flesh is meat indeed, and My blood is drink indeed."
Vs 56, Jesus said, "He that eats My flesh and drinks My blood dwells in Me, and I in him."
Did He say, 'He that eats a symbol of My flesh...'. How can a mere symbol fulfill this promise?
Does only a symbol of Christ dwell in us? I thought GOD Himself dwelt within us, 1John 4:12-13.
Vs 59, This verse shows that Jesus taught this discourse to all the people.
Vs 60,They doubt a third time when many disciples said, "This is a hard saying, who can hear it"?
The Jews were instilled by many Old Testament verses, admonishing them not to consume blood.
See Deut 12:23, Lev 17:11and 14. They must have thought this was something akin to cannibalism.
Is this what you think too?
At any point did Jesus back down? Explain to me, if this chapter is symbolic, why did He not explain the symbolism to them?
Vs 61, Jesus did not back down, for He said, "Does this offend you?"
He knew their thoughts and He certainly knew the Old Testament verses about the consumption of blood.
In the next verse, He separated spiritual things from earthly things.
Vs 63*, Jesus said, "It is the spirit that quickens; the flesh profits nothing. The words I speak to you, they are spirit, and they are life."
Did He say He was speaking figuratively or in parables? This is the second verse detractors use to try to "prove" that Jesus spoke figuratively for the whole chapter. Did Jesus say "My" flesh? No, He said "the" flesh. What Jesus had said was, that we cannot accept this mystery if we accept it in too human a way, by having an earthly view of things. Those who can only think of cannibalism, are they not having an earthly view?
See John 3:6, "That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit." Verse 63 means that we should not have a carnal human understanding of His words, but a spiritual understanding.
In John, chapter 6, Jesus had not only called the 12 Apostles, there was also much larger group of other disciples. Things seemed to be going pretty well. That is until Jesus said “For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. He that eateth my flesh and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.” This was too much for many of his disciples and “From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.” Jesus turns to the 12 and asks, “Will ye also go away? Simon Peter gives the same answer that I find myself saying to those who tell me I should leave the Catholic Church for this reason or that one, “Lord, to whom shall we go?” No matter what a certain priest does, no matter what scandals hit the church, despite whatever corruption or abuse of power might exist, and despite whatever mistakes the Church has made throughout history, “to whom shall we go?” for here is the body and blood of Christ given for a sinner as miserable as I.😂

It is available everyday at Mass
      All around the world
      All in vain though
If a religious spirit is heading one's folded hands up to the alter
      Jesus also speaks of
      Sanctification and Redemption
      He speaks of your death
      And rebirth of your spirit.
      Body and Blood
      Sanctification and Redemption
      As far as the Eucharist

"Let him hear who has the ear''
So the timeline and the signs are of the end times like this
First sign is Dan.9:27 that is the Peace agreement or Confirmation of the covenant with many for one week = 7 years
If we count 30 profetical days in a month then the 7 years are 2520 days.
Second sign is Dan.8:13-14 the 2300 evenings & mornings = days.
I use the NIV Bible but if we look into other Bibles it is mostly the same concept.
Dan.8:13 = How long will it take for the vision to be fulfilled - the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, the rebellion that causes desolation, the surrender of the sanctuary and the trampling underfoot of the Lord’s people?
We need to understand that question properly, right ? then we can understand the proper context. So the question that is asked is: How long will it take for the vision to be fulfilled - this is the question right?
Now what is in that vision to be fulfilled?? = the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, the rebellion that causes desolation = (abomination of desolation), the surrender of the sanctuary and the trampling underfoot of the Lord’s people?
So here I understand that in that whole vision is: Dan.8:13, The vision concerning the daily sacrifice = from the moment that the daily sacrifices starts, (vision concerning the daily sacrifice = from the moment that it starts), then the rebellion that causes desolation = (abomination of desolation) is set up this is in Dan.12:11 where the daily sacrifices are also stopped, this two happenings are also in Dan.9:27, Dan.11:31, and now the last part is: the surrender of the sanctuary and the trampling underfoot of the Lord’s people? This we can go into Rev.11:2 But exclude the outer court; do not measure it,because it has been given for the Gentiles. They will trample on the holy city for 42 months.
This is in the whole vision from Dan.8:13
And the answer is Dan.8:14, 2300 evenings & mornings = days
If we have the timeline with the following signs: 1. Sign, Dan.9:27 the 7 years =2520 days to go until the end. Peace agreement with many that we will hear that it is made = Israel will make a peace agreement with the surrounded nations.
2 & 3. Signs are, Dan.8:13-14, 2300 days to go until the end. According the vision the daily sacrifices will start 220 days after the peace agreement we have the beginning of the Daily sacrifices + the Jews will start to build up the 3 temple Dan.9:27, Rev.11.1, 2 Tes.2:4, Here in these verses seats if this is truth what I am writing you that there will be a 3 temple. So we have until now 3 major signs what we should see before the Great Tribulation will began
And now we are getting to the main sign which will start the Great Tribulation and that is Dan.12:11
From the time that the Daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination that causes desolation is set up, there will be 1290 days.
So I am convinced about these things we have clear signs about the end time God is so good that he gave as not only the last 3 and half year of the Great Tribulation but also the happenings before it starts.
In these world wild desinformations what we have that much of confusing teachings he gave as the signs what make as convinced that the Great Tribulation is began.

No one in John 10 or 15 takes Jesus literally.
These figures of speech are clearly just that. Jesus is like a vine in that gives spiritual life to all believers, the branches. Jesus is like a door as he is the only means to Eternal salvation.
In contrast, how can Jesus hold up a matzo and say "this is like my body" or hold up the cup and say " this is like my blood" especially in how his body and blood save us?
Also, in the Last Supper accounts, Jesus does not say "I am the bread" and "I am the wine" which are the usages in Jn 10 and 15, which would have been nonsense phrases unless they were clearly metaphors or similes.
Instead Jesus declares "This is my body...This is my blood", the "this" remaining unspecified until Jesus identified either as what he was holding in his hands.

Modernist presumption that John and the other Gospel writers were unaware of anyone but Mark is simply that, a presumption to support multiple preexisting biases.

They DID. Bread of Life Discourse, and here we go....
The Bread of Life (BoL) sermon is preceded by two miracles relating to faith, and like the BoL discourse, both are related to Jesus' Divinity despite his veil of humanity.
Jn 6:1-15, the feeding of the 5000, other than the Resurrection of Jesus, this is the only miracle which is in all four Gospels.
--Passover is close at hand (4) and therefore the Last Supper a year away.
---Jesus tests Phillip, who only sees with natural eyes and reason (the flesh, later) on how to feed the multitude.
---JESUS gives thanks (eucharista) and multiplies the 5 loaves and 2 fish to feed the crowd to satiation, a foreshadowing of Jesus' own body and blood being able to spiritually feed BILLIONS.
Before we leave the feeding of the 5000, consider the types of miracles Jesus performed through his career. Yes, he was similar to other Jewish wonder workers, in healings and, exorcisms, but in kind and degree Jesus was something else. The 5000's feeding far surpassed that of Elijah's praying for the everlasting flour and oil to feed himself, the Widow, and her son-- it was far more like the Mana of Exodus. The transformation of water into wine at Cana was not only unlike anything a prior prophet did, it was done because a believer's faith (his mother's) was absolutely trusting.

@@---wp3oc The other miracle, preceding the BoL discourse, pertaining to Jesus' identity, is the walking on water, In 6:16-21, Mk 6:45-53.
The Apostles were frightened as Mark says as Jesus was "passing them by"...
What an odd thing to be frightened by except every Jewish listener who instantly get the references to God doing the same thing.
Ex 33:13-19, with Moses and Aaron in the cleft of s rock as the Lord "passed them by".
Likewise, 1 Kings 19:11-14, God passes by Elijah.
The reinforcement of THE Divinity speaking is Jesus' words, "it is I" which is the same usage of "I AM" in the Koine Septuagint of Ex 3:14
Also, the " do not be afraid" in Mk 6:50, Jn 6:20, is what God frequently says, either by himself or through angels: Gen 26:24, Jud 6:22-23, Lk 1:30
Finally, the immediate calm shows Jesus, like the Lord in Job 9:8, has complete and instant command over nature.

“And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.”
    -John 1:14
“Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!”
    -2 Corinthians 9:18
“He’s the King of the Jews
    He’s the King of Israel
    He’s the King of Righteousness
He’s the King of the Ages
    He’s the King of Heaven
    He’s the King of Glory

    He’s the pathway of peace
    He’s the roadway of righteousness
    He’s the highway of holiness
    He’s the gateway of glory
He’s the master of the mighty
He’s the captain of the conquerors

    His Name is Yeshua… Jesus!
If you do not know the LORD, please do not wait another moment...
“Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.”
    -2 Corinthians 6:2
None of us knows how long we have on this earth. The only opportunity we are guaranteed to have is right now...
    A: Admit you have Sinned

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
    -Romans 3:23
“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
    -Romans 6:23
“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
    -1 John 1:9
It is tough to admit that we are wrong. Even before God, we feel we are basically good, and we would like to think we are never as bad as some... we are ALL sinners and can never be good enough to earn our own way to heaven. Jesus spoke to the scribes and Pharisees saying,
“Serpents, brood of vipers! How can you escape the condemnation of hell?”
    -Matthew 23:33
They believed that faithfully following rituals and traditions would get them into heaven. We are all like those scribes and Pharisees when we believe we can save ourselves by good works or following religious rituals and traditions. That path takes us to one place only... hell!
Please listen, there is a way...
    The ONLY WAY...
B: Believe in Jesus our Savior

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.”
    -John 3:16-17
“So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.”
    -Acts 16:31
“And this is His commandment: that we should believe on the Name of His Son Jesus Christ and love one another, as He gave us commandment.”
    -1 John 3:23
“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.” -Ephesians 2:8-9
    Salvation is not complicated.
Jesus said, “Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.”
    - Mark 10:15
A child simply puts their trust (faith) in their parents protective arms. Likewise, we entrust our life to Jesus our Savior, believing on Him and His finished work on the cross. The Apostle Paul defined the message of the Gospel (good news) like this-
“...that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures,”
    - 1 Corinthians 15:3-4
Jesus, the perfect, sinless lamb, the Son of God, laid down His life and took the death penalty meant for us, dying in our place (read Isaiah 53:6). He paid the debt we could not pay and redeemed us (bought us back) from the power of sin and death. (read John 1:29 / Galatians 3:13 / Romans 3:25)
C: Confess Jesus is Lord and Savior
“...that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”
    -Romans 10:9-10
“The LORD is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.”
    -2 Peter 3:9
God fulfilled His promise, sending His one and only Son to die in our place. He has offered us the most precious gift-salvation, the forgiveness of sin, eternal life with Him in heaven. BUT…we must receive that gift. We must confess our sins (read 1 John 1:9 ) and proclaim our faith (belief) in the death, burial and resurrection of God’s only begotten son, our Savior Jesus. Confessing with our mouth requires an outward, public action, not a secret, hidden, timid faith. The Apostle Paul boldly proclaimed his faith so that others could hear and be saved. God’s plan of salvation is freely offered to everyone.
If you are not familiar with prayer, it is simply talking to God openly and honestly.
Remember, the Bible says we are saved by grace through faith. God sees our heart. We are not saved by simply saying some special words in a formal prayer. We are saved when we reach out by faith, admit our sin, repenting from believing our actions save us to belief in Jesus and His sacrifice for us, confessing Him as our Lord and Savior. Saving faith produces a forever changed life.
The Bible is God’s message to us. It’s readily available even online. Please read it.
Your death penalty has been paid- you have been pardoned...
The choice is yours to accept it or not. We’re all headed to one of two places - heaven or hell. Will you please accept the LORD’s gift of love today?
“Likewise, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”
    - Luke 15:10

The prophets were told what and how to write scripture, 20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. 21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. 2 Peter 1:20-21 (KJV). The bible was not written by people of perspective, opinion, and emotion.
To “rightly divide (separate) the word of truth” you must separate fact from fable, truth from tale, and principle from parable.
    God's Timeline
“Why didn’t the disciples know that Jesus could feed the 4,000 after he had fed the 5,000 in the previous chapter?” Matt 15:33 (KJV)
The so called “Christian” leaders of today teach that it is because they didn’t have faith. But the fact is that anyone involved in such a miracle and still skeptical would not only remember it but would be anxious for a similar situation to arise and prove it one way or the other. The discrepancy is put there to prod those with eyes to see (those sincere in search of truth) to investigate.
The answer is given in the 16th chapter where Jesus speaks of the leaven of the Pharisees.
    Matt 16:6-12 (KJV).
If that bread were literal then the disciples had every reason to believe that Jesus was being literal about the leaven and he therefore had no reason to chide them. But that bread being symbolic he chided them for not considering and taking to heart his teachings even after the third time of bringing up the subject. That teaching is what you are reading now.
The bible (KJV) says that Jesus followed no will of his own but the will of God.
    John 6:38 (KJV)
His life in the flesh is an ensample (representation) of God's laws. Jesus says that bread represents his flesh (his life) which in turn represents God's law (the bread of life).
    John 6:51 (KJV)
Jesus’ death gave us the New Testament. Matt 26:28 (KJV) and Heb 9:16 (KJV)
The New Testament brings meat to the scriptures, represented by the two fishes.
The meat is the symbolic code and patterns that bring/bind all scripture in the bible (KJV) together. Heb 5:12-14 (KJV)
It has been 2 thousand years since Jesus, so each fish represents 1 thousand years. In turn the five loaves of bread represent 5 thousand years that God gave his laws to man.
21 And they that had eaten were about FIVE THOUSAND men,…Matt 14:21 (KJV)
    This gives us a glimpse of Gods timeline. 7 thousand years ago Adam was kicked out of the garden. It also shows us that we are at the end of our time on this earth;
13 … and in the earthquake were slain of men SEVEN THOUSAND: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven. Rev 11:13 (KJV)
What does all this prove? It proves that the stories in the bible (KJV) aren’t meant to be taken literally, per se. Also different parts of the hidden truths and patterns are written by different authors hundreds and thousands of years apart show that the bible (KJV) is the preserved word of God orchestrated, compiled, and translated by him and the Holy Ghost.
It tells us that the bible speaks of itself and that it is for OUR admonition.
4 Neither give heed to FABLES and ENDLESS GENEALOGIES…1 Tim 1:4 (KJV)
It tells us its message is hidden in the fables, parables, and stories through symbolism.
And above all it gives us a major key in unlocking the hidden timeline and agenda of God. It tells us that the following verse is meant to be taken as literal. 2 Peter 3:8 (KJV)
So taking 2 Peter 3:8 (KJV) as literal tells us that each creation day is 1k years.
5 .... And the evening and the morning were the first day. Gen 1:5 (KJV)
Another thing that shows the creation days are 1k yrs. is if you take the phrase “the evening and the morning” and do a search verbatim of the whole bible (KJV) the only verse that comes up other than the creation days is; Dan 8:26 (KJV) There is no way the events of the vision it speaks of could happen in one 24 hour period.

    The Core
37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. Matt 22:37-40 (KJV)
“with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind” means that the first commandment is to be obeyed under all circumstances. And this love of the first law is “to love (in a social or moral sense) -Strong's Talking Greek & Hebrew Dictionary”, it means to do the right thing.
And who is God that we are to love no matter the circumstance? ...and the Word was God […and the Law was God]. John 1:1 (KJV). God’s word is law (rules, ethics, morals, principles,).
Man must coexist in order to survive. In order to coexist we must have laws to protect the rights of all. God gave us laws that would allow us to do just that live, IF adhered to.
33 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
    Luke 21:33 (KJV).
Let’s face it the laws that we choose to govern by are not working no matter where you live at in this world.
It is not enough to just to confess that you believe in the [fairy tales] fables 1 Tim 1:4 (KJV) (the leaven of today’s teachers). You can’t judge the world nor angels 1 Cor 6:2-3 (KJV) unless you know the right laws to judge by. And it is not enough to just know the letter of the law, 14 Thou shalt not commit adultery. Ex 20:14 (KJV), but you need to know why they are laws and what happens if disobeyed.
28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart. Matt 5:28 (KJV).
You need to take it to heart and know that adultery causes strife, contention, and disturbs the peace of all involved and tempts others to do the same. One who loves his neighbor as himself would not want to disturb his neighbor’s peace, and is not ruled by law but by love. Those that “don’t” only because they are told “thou shalt not” easily fall to temptation because there is no conviction, and are ruled by law and are condemned by law.
Those that are sincere in their want for peace and truth are drawn to God because that is what God is, peace IN truth,
44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him:…
    John 6:44 (KJV)
    and
8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. …10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up. James 4:8-10 (KJV)
This is what Jesus and the New Testament do, they teach the true meanings and principles of the laws that are in the Old Testament, “the spirit of the law”.
    Being washed in the blood of the lamb means to learn and follow the true meaning of God’s laws, especially through trials and tribulations, (which is the chastisement of God, thereby showing his love for his children;
6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. Heb 12:6 (KJV)). That blood washing also being present for those who were sincere in their walk with God since the creation of mankind, hence: 8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. Heb 13:8 (KJV)
    and
58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.
    John 8:58 (KJV).
The prophets, which includes Jesus, died BECAUSE of our sins. We (mankind) were ignorant and our leaders were greedy and their deeds were in darkness and they killed the prophets because they brought those deeds to light. Jesus laid down his life FOR our salvation (John 10:17-18 (KJV)) by his blood that was shed for the bringing of the New Testament (true meaning to laws), this is why it said that Jesus is the only way to salvation.
16 For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.
    Heb 9:16 (KJV).
And he followed those laws as an example for us to follow, being a man and not God, showing us how to live according to the word in the flesh.
21 … because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an EXAMPLE, THAT YE SHOULD FOLLOW HIS STEPS: … 1 Peter 2:21-24 (KJV). Jesus was a man primed and groomed to be our master, high priest, and the mediator between us and God.
    8 Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;
    9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;
10 Called of God an high priest after the order of Melchisedec. Heb 5:8-10 (KJV).
14 Seeing then that we have a great HIGH PRIEST (not God), that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.
15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but WAS in all points TEMPTED (in contradiction to 13 … for God CANNOT be tempted with evil, …James 1:13 (KJV)) like as we are, yet without sin.
    Heb 4:14-15 (KJV).
Two separate wills means two separate beings.
42 Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done. Luke 22:42 (KJV)
    And
30 I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me. John 5:30 (KJV)
    And
28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.
    1 Cor 15:28 (KJV)
{By principle of this; 14 … For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. James 4:14 (KJV)
    Jesus’ life and sacrifice can be likened to less than a finger prick if he is THE God, for God is eternal.}
Take a good look at the world and you can plainly see that sin (crime) causes nothing but pain and death.
To nut shell it, unless you do your very best by your love and faith to put God (the word) before all else you are not worthy of the protection that the word (law) facilitates, Matt 10:37 (KJV). And make no mistake God will not jeopardize the peace of heaven for no one.
27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life. Rev 21:27 (KJV)
May God have mercy on his children. Amen
    P.S.
15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. John 14:15-21 (KJV)
    And
20 Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins. James 5:20 (KJV)
    And
8 And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins. 1 Peter 4:8 (KJV)
27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world. James 1:27 (KJV)

But Jesus IS a loaf of bread. Most of His followers left him when He doubled down on that. He never said, "Oh no. That's metaphorical." He said to His twelve Disciples, "Will you leave me now too because you can't handle this?" And they said, "Where would we go, Lord?" Yes, Jesus' teaching "is hard," as the Disciples said when He told them they must eat His Body and drink His blood. But it's the Truth. His flesh "is real food" and His "blood is real drink." Don't make the fatal mistake of thinking this most important teaching of all is a metaphor. Jesus is the actual Bread of life. We must eat His Body ACTUALLY. Perhaps we can only share in His divinity when we share in His physical humanity? It is a Mystery why we must eat Jesus' body. Someday we will understand. When we reign with Him. Not now.

    Again and Again
Jesus first repeated what he said, then summarized: “‘I am the living bread which came down from heaven; if any one eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread which I shall give for the life of the world is my flesh.’ The Jews then disputed among themselves, saying, ‘How can this man give us his flesh to eat?’” (John 6:51-52).
image of Light from Darkness by Steve Weidenkopf | Catholic Answers Press
His listeners were stupefied because now they understood Jesus literally-and correctly. He again repeated his words, but with even greater emphasis, and introduced the statement about drinking his blood: “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, you have no life in you; he who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is food indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me, and I in him” (John 6:53-56).
Notice that Jesus made no attempt to soften what he said, no attempt to correct “misunderstandings,” for there were none. Our Lord’s listeners understood him perfectly well. They no longer thought he was speaking metaphorically.
In John 6:60 we read: “Many of his disciples, when they heard it, said, ‘This is a hard saying; who can listen to it?’” (It is here, in the rejection of the Eucharist, that Judas fell away; look at John 6:64.) “After this, many of his disciples drew back and no longer went about with him” (John 6:66).
This is the only record we have of any of Christ’s followers forsaking him for purely doctrinal reasons. If they erred in taking a metaphor in a literal sense, why didn’t he call them back and straighten things out? Both the Jews, who were suspicious of him, and his disciples, who had accepted everything up to this point, would have remained with him had he said he was speaking only symbolically.
But he did not correct these protesters. Twelve times he said he was the bread that came down from heaven; four times he said they would have “to eat my flesh and drink my blood.” John 6 was an extended promise of what would be instituted at the Last Supper-and it was a promise that could not be more explicit.😁

Why Jesus did not explain that Him being bread is not literal but is Spiritual? He DID tell us and there was no need to “correct or explain Himself”. He spoke deliberately in parables and metaphors. He did this because not everyone was to meant to understand. He was speaking to those with ears to hear. He did not explain this to people because they either understand that He is of a SPIRITUAL SUBSTANCE and SUSTENANCE that FILLS US UP or they don’t. They either understood/understand what Jesus offers us in a truly profound Spiritual sense or they do not.
      Read Matthew 13:10-17.,..
It’s like when He explained to Nicodemus we must be born of the Spirit (the Holy Spirit). Nicodemus could not get past the fact that it was not another physical birth! That it is NOT LITERAL IN AN EARTHLY SENSE. It is TRUE but NOT LITERAL. (Read John 3)
The fact that Catholic Church teaches that Jesus is being summoned and sacrificed over and over and literally eaten is just crazy and ridiculous. It is FINISHED.
But the reason they believe that is because THE CATHOLIC CHURCH IS NICODEMUS..THE PHARISEES who can not comprehend SPIRITUAL SALVATION and BEING BORN AGAIN with an INDWELLING of the Holy Spirit that seals us.
WE are saved not by WORKS OF “SACRAMENTS” but BY REPENTANCE & HIS SACRIFICE and accepting that we are sinners in need of a Savior and that He is that Savior. THANK YOU JESUS!! 🙌🏻🙏🕊
We then FOLLOW HIM as His sheep and His adopted children. May these words come to you who is reading in Truth and Love in Jesus’ precious name. Amen!! 🙌🏻🙏🕊

      Matthew‬ ‭13:10-17‬ ‭
“And the disciples came and said to Him, “Why do You speak to them in parables?” He answered and said to them, “Because it has been given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given. For whoever has, to him more will be given, and he will have abundance; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him. Therefore I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand. And in them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled, which says: ‘Hearing you will hear and shall not understand, And seeing you will see and not perceive; For the hearts of this people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, And their eyes they have closed, Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, So that I should heal them.’ But blessed are your eyes for they see, and your ears for they hear; for assuredly, I say to you that many prophets and righteous men desired to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it.”

@@truthbeknown6479 You know what else sounds crazy and ridiculous to the uninitiated? That God would be willing to sent His Only Son to take human form just to suffer and die an agonizing death by our hands for the salvation of those who are continuously ungrateful to Him. Jesus isn't sacrificed in the sense that He is tortured again and again on every Holy Mass if thats what you're thinking, the Church never taught such a doctrine.
The Eucharist is literal Body and Blood of Jesus as it is self evident in the verse itself, Jesus doubled down on His teaching that His Body is real food and His Blood is real drink after people left Him unable acknowledge it in the literal sense. Furthermore Jesus raised the bread and cup then said "This is My Body and Blood, DO THIS in memory of Me" then he gave the bread and chalice to the Apostles to eat and drink from it. Jesus said to do this in memory of Him and that's what we see the Apostles do in Bible where they get together and break bread every Sunday, and that is exactly what the Church has been doing every Sunday for 2000 years. The Apostle Paul further warned the people that anyone who partake in the breaking of bread in an unworthy manner will be liable and answerable for sinning against the Body and Blood of Christ.
We also see writings of early Christians, the direct disciples of the Apostles who testify for the real presence of Christ in the Eucharist. Even the earliest denominations of Protestants like Lutherans believed in the real presence of Christ in their partaking of bread. The denial of the real presence was developed and established way after Lutherans. We have personal testimony of Christians who devoutly partake in the Eucharist literally experiencing Jesus in the heart and being taken into spiritual ecstasy.
Even more, Jesus has personally testified to His real presence by occasionally transforming the Eucharist into Flesh and Blood which has been scientifically studied and verified. It's now known as Eucharistic miracles.

It doesnt matter what you say you believe. Listen to what the bible and Jesus says about believing.
We learn in James 2:19 that even the demons believe!
Does that mean that the demons saved?
How do we know if we believe then?
In order to find out if we believe in Jesus we must believe His word is truth.
HIS word is first, not the apostles, not Paul and not your pastor or priest HIS!
We need to read the words of our Messiah and use THEM as the standard.
In that remember Jesus also said: Do """"ALL""""" that Moses said. Matthew 23:1-3
In John 5:47 Jesus says "But if you dont believe in Moses writings, how will you believe in His!
In Luke 16:31 "" If they dont listen to Moses & the prophets, they won't listen if someone rises from the dead""
Gee I wonder do you who rose from the dead that He was talking about?
It comes down to this; if you dont accept Moses writings, or the prophets, you won't accept what Jesus says.
Jesus ""never contradicted the Father therefore He never contradicted what Moses wrote.
Jesus didn't start a new religion. If He did, the pharisees would've crucified Him for that!
Remember they found no fault in Him!!!
That means when they studied the writings of Moses there wasn't any contradiction with what He said and what the Father had Moses write down.
He didn't teach a new religion He came to show us "The Way" to walk out the old one.
Don't let Jesus say to you "" Depart from me you who practice lawlessness""
Instead believe His words """ If you love me keep my commandments""""
His commands are exactly the fathers commands.
These very commands that Moses wrote!

Equality of Value does not mean equity of substance. So on a balance scale, you put a one pound weight on one table and then some gold dust on the other, when the scale balances, there is equality on the issue of the force of gravity , but on other elements of values, other than the desired issue of equality , there is not equity of substance between the facts of what is any other substance than gold, in comparison. So Jesus had a legal equality of God in terms of Law, as the main issue, not bodily weight or other forces of nature. So Equity is an idea of everyone being God , and God being just another one of the many , every God has the same substance and on all issues carries the same weight. But that is not how Jesus saw God. Jesus saw himself in a role bearing out equality of God on the issues pertinent to Salvation, that If you have Jesus , then for whatever that is worth as value, you have God, and your expectations of being saved, are drawing upon a form of currency. So pound of Gold and a pound of Bread , has equality , in terms of gravitational forces to balance the scale. But if you want gold as an element to create electrical circuits free of corrosion, then you are concerned about specific other elements , other than just the force of gravity. So in a Legal Wrangle, a dollar buys a loaf of bread, makes them equal , if you narrow your focus to just that concern , a currency you use to obtain a loaf of bread, in that exchange, they are equal . But if you want a loaf of bread to do everything possible for gold to do, you will be frustrated. God as God overall is only ONE GOD, but God in currency of Exchange, is a Legal Treatise with Prior Consent, like writing a check as a promise of payment, or using Bit Coin or a National Currency , where for an agreed exchange of value for value, you are facilitated to the objective of the approach you began using Reason.
Jesus is not all there is to God, because we are also part of what is God and we are lost , and sinners, but in exchange, His Life for ours. there is a BANK OF HEAVEN , who accepts on CREDIT the good deeds done by one to cover the debts of others who petition for coverage under the terms of the deal. So Jesus did not weigh as much as all the dust on Earth or all the Heavens, there is an infinite reach of God into all ,but for the matter at hand to be satisfied, the merit of the doer of the deed, based on prior consent to honor the deed, then Jesus bought us all for our good, and paid in blood with what was good about Himself. So in EFFICIENT CAUSE, Jesus is God, able to do what we wanted God to do for us, to be saved, but in God there are also violent destructive forces of nature, which on the path you choose, you do not want to spend time in Hell, you want to get to Heaven , at least one hour before the Devil knows you are dead. Thus if you have a BUS TOKEN , you can get on any bus at the Isle of Safety , and ask the driver for a transfer pass to the bus you needed to get to your destination . So Jesus is a TOKEN OF SALVATION ,if you have Jesus, you have a Pass, you have the means to get to where you wish to go ,without being destroyed in some cosmic comedy of errors.

Therefore the writers didn't say the best they could but wrote down God's words inspired by the Holy Spirit. The words are God breathed. It's unfortunate that Heiser doesn't believe the words of God, yet considers himself a scholar. The scriptures are reality and the only truth. Wake Up. Repent and believe.

Matt. 26:26-28; Mark. 14:22,24; Luke 22;19-20; 1 Cor. 11:24-25 - Jesus says, this IS my body and blood. Jesus does not say, this is a symbol of my body and blood.
Matt. 26:26; Mark. 14:22; Luke 22:19-20 - the Greek phrase is "Toutoestin to soma mou." This phraseology means "this is actually" or "this is really" my body and blood.
You do the math. If that's not enough...see:
John 6:4,11-14 - on the eve of the Passover, Jesus performs the miracle of multiplying the loaves. This was prophesied in the Old Testament (e.g., 2 Kings4:43), and foreshadows the infinite heavenly bread which is Him.
Matt. 14:19, 15:36; Mark 6:41, 8:6; Luke 9:16 - these passages are additional accounts of the multiplication miracles. This points to the Eucharist.
Matt. 16:12 - in this verse, Jesus explains His metaphorical use of the term "bread." In John 6, He eliminates any metaphorical possibilities.
John 6:4 - Jesus is in Capernaum on the eve of Passover, and the lambs are gathered to be slaughtered and eaten. Look what He says.
John 6:35,41,48,51 - Jesus says four times "I AM the bread from heaven." It is He, Himself, the eternal bread from heaven.
John 6:27,31,49 - there is a parallel between the manna in the desert which was physically consumed, and this "new" bread which must be consumed.
John 6:51-52- then Jesus says that the bread He is referring to is His flesh. The Jews take Him literally and immediately question such a teaching. How can this man give us His flesh to eat?
John 6:53 - 58 - Jesus does not correct their literal interpretation. Instead, Jesus eliminates any metaphorical interpretations by swearing an oath and being even more literal about eating His flesh. In fact, Jesus says four times we must eat His flesh and drink His blood. Catholics thus believe that Jesus makes present His body and blood in the sacrifice of the Mass. Protestants, if they are not going to become Catholic, can only argue that Jesus was somehow speaking symbolically.
John 6:23-53 - however, a symbolic interpretation is not plausible. Throughout these verses, the Greek text uses the word "phago" nine times. "Phago" literally means "to eat" or "physically consume." Like the Protestants of our day, the disciples take issue with Jesus' literal usage of "eat." So Jesus does what?
John 6:54, 56, 57, 58 - He uses an even more literal verb, translated as "trogo," which means to gnaw or chew or crunch. He increases the literalness and drives his message home. Jesus will literally give us His flesh and blood to eat. The word “trogo” is only used two other times in the New Testament (in Matt. 24:38 and John 13:18) and it always means to literally gnaw or chew meat. While “phago” might also have a spiritual application, "trogo" is never used metaphorically in Greek. So Protestants cannot find one verse in Scripture where "trogo" is used symbolically, and yet this must be their argument if they are going to deny the Catholic understanding of Jesus' words. Moreover, the Jews already knew Jesus was speaking literally even before Jesus used the word “trogo” when they said “How can this man give us His flesh to eat?” (John 6:52).
John 6:55 - to clarify further, Jesus says "For My Flesh is food indeed, and My Blood is drink indeed." This phrase can only be understood as being responsive to those who do not believe that Jesus' flesh is food indeed, and His blood is drink indeed. Further, Jesus uses the word which is translated as "sarx." "Sarx" means flesh (not "soma" which means body). See, for example, John 1:13,14; 3:6; 8:15; 17:2; Matt. 16:17; 19:5; 24:22; 26:41; Mark 10:8; 13:20; 14:38; and Luke 3:6; 24:39 which provides other examples in Scripture where "sarx" means flesh. It is always literal.
John 6:55 - further, the phrases "real" food and "real" drink use the word "alethes." "Alethes" means "really" or "truly," and would only be used if there were doubts concerning the reality of Jesus' flesh and blood as being food and drink. Thus, Jesus is emphasizing the miracle of His body and blood being actual food and drink.
John 6:60 - as are many anti-Catholics today, Jesus' disciples are scandalized by these words. They even ask, "Who can 'listen' to it (much less understand it)?" To the unillumined mind, it seems grotesque.
John 6:61-63 - Jesus acknowledges their disgust. Jesus' use of the phrase "the spirit gives life" means the disciples need supernatural faith, not logic, to understand His words.
John 3:6 - Jesus often used the comparison of "spirit versus flesh" to teach about the necessity of possessing supernatural faith versus a natural understanding. In Mark 14:38 Jesus also uses the "spirit/flesh" comparison. The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak. We must go beyond the natural to understand the supernatural. In 1 Cor. 2:14,3:3; Rom 8:5; and Gal. 5:17, Paul also uses the "spirit/flesh" comparison to teach that unspiritual people are not receiving the gift of faith. They are still "in the flesh."
John 6:63 - Protestants often argue that Jesus' use of the phrase "the spirit gives life" shows that Jesus was only speaking symbolically. However, Protestants must explain why there is not one place in Scripture where "spirit" means "symbolic." As we have seen, the use of "spirit" relates to supernatural faith. What words are spirit and life? The words that we must eat Jesus' flesh and drink His blood, or we have no life in us.
John 6:66-67 - many disciples leave Jesus, rejecting this literal interpretation that we must eat His flesh and drink His blood. At this point, these disciples really thought Jesus had lost His mind. If they were wrong about the literal interpretation, why wouldn't Jesus, the Great Teacher, have corrected them? Why didn't Jesus say, "Hey, come back here, I was only speaking symbolically!"? Because they understood correctly.
Mark 4:34 - Jesus always explained to His disciples the real meanings of His teachings. He never would have let them go away with a false impression, most especially in regard to a question about eternal salvation.
John 6:37 - Jesus says He would not drive those away from Him. They understood Him correctly but would not believe.
John 3:5,11; Matt. 16:11-12 - here are some examples of Jesus correcting wrong impressions of His teaching. In the Eucharistic discourse, Jesus does not correct the scandalized disciples.
John 6:64,70 - Jesus ties the disbelief in the Real Presence of His Body and Blood in the Eucharist to Judas' betrayal. Those who don't believe in this miracle betray Him.
Psalm 27:2; Isa. 9:20; 49:26; Mic. 3:3; 2 Sam. 23:17; Rev. 16:6; 17:6, 16 - to further dispense with the Protestant claim that Jesus was only speaking symbolically, these verses demonstrate that symbolically eating body and blood is always used in a negative context of a physical assault. It always means “destroying an enemy,” not becoming intimately close with him. Thus, if Jesus were speaking symbolically in John 6:51-58, He would be saying to us, "He who reviles or assaults me has eternal life." This, of course, is absurd.
John 10:7 - Protestants point out that Jesus did speak metaphorically about Himself in other places in Scripture. For example, here Jesus says, "I am the door." But in this case, no one asked Jesus if He was literally made of wood. They understood him metaphorically.
John 15:1,5 - here is another example, where Jesus says, "I am the vine." Again, no one asked Jesus if He was literally a vine. In John 6, Jesus' disciples did ask about His literal speech (that this bread was His flesh which must be eaten). He confirmed that His flesh and blood were food and drink indeed. Many disciples understood Him and left Him.
Matt. 26:29; Mark 14:25; Luke 22:18 - Jesus says He will not drink of the “fruit of the vine” until He drinks it new in the kingdom. Some Protestants try to use this verse (because Jesus said “fruit of the vine”) to prove the wine cannot be His blood. But the Greek word for fruit is “genneema” which literally means “that which is generated from the vine.” In John 15:1,5 Jesus says “I am the vine.” So “fruit of the vine” can also mean Jesus’ blood. In 1 Cor. 11:26-27, Paul also used “bread” and “the body of the Lord” interchangeably in the same sentence. Also, see Matt. 3:7;12:34;23:33 for examples were “genneema” means “birth” or “generation.”
Rom. 14:14-18; 1 Cor. 8:1-13; 1 Tim. 4:3 - Protestants often argue that drinking blood and eating certain sacrificed meats were prohibited in the New Testament, so Jesus would have never commanded us to consume His body and blood. But these verses prove them wrong, showing that Paul taught all foods, even meat offered to idols, strangled, or with blood, could be consumed by the Christian if it didn’t bother the brother’s conscience and were consumed with thanksgiving to God.
Matt. 18:2-5 - Jesus says we must become like children, or we will not enter the kingdom of God. We must believe Jesus' words with child-like faith. Because Jesus says this bread is His flesh, we believe by faith, even though it surpasses our understanding.
Luke 1:37 - with God, nothing is impossible. If we can believe in the incredible reality of the Incarnation, we can certainly believe in the Real Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. God coming to us in elements He created is an extension of the awesome mystery💋

Through the divine Word the universe was made. Through the words of Jesus "be made clean" and so forth, and through even physical means (He spits to make mud, and places it on the eyes of the blind) there is efficacious healing. Christians have believed from the beginning that the words Jesus speaks over bread "this is My Body" and over wine "this is My Blood" make what He says a reality. Moreover He says to the Apostles : do this in memory of Me ... "this" being the sacramental re-presentation of the once-for-all saving sacrifice of Christ on Calvary. As the separation of body and blood in Jewish sacrifices, the separation of the two forms, the form of bread and the form of wine, point to the real presence of the Lord in His sacrifice for our redemption. Jesus in John ch 6 uses very concrete terms to state we must eat His flesh... gnaw! The Eucharist is the whole, risen, living Lord in every particle. But it is, actually, Him--body, blood, soul and divinity. And if you think that isn't enough, when He feeds us this Food, which is so different from the ordinary food that becomes part of our body, we are incorporated as members of His Body... not metaphorically but really.

This is the basic flaw in most religious thinking, that you get to define reality, and if you use enough words you can convince yourself of what you want to believe. In the end all he has done is weakened the bible, because, according to his logic, the resurrection was a metaphor.

That's impressive how desperate Protestants are to not believe what Jesus said about himself.

With all your knowledge and ability to discern, you STILL placed Jesus' face on a piece of bread in your cover art/banner. How flippant of you. This is the One through whom all of the universe was made that we are talking about here. Check yourself next time and don't get so "creative". GodLove, and JesusWins.

Heiser pretends to be a Christian so he can get real close to them before plunging the dagger in their back. It’s stunning how obvious it is and yet so many cannot/will not see it. He’s basically a spy used to infiltrate and mislead. It was happening even in the days of the apostles and is how satan’s people operate and this channel is packed with them role playing. It’s cyber warfare and is state sponsored and Christians don’t have the foggiest clue they are the #1 targets even though the very bible they are supposed to know shows all their tricks and warns against their plans. If they cannot see, it’s because God has blinded them for holding the truth in unrighteousness and blow this off as “conspiracy theory”

Jesus is the Bread of Life, Eucharist :). To anyone who is questioning this, read up on 2nd century Church fathers.

Say it a little louder for the Catholics in the back.

LOL.....You cannot "correspond truth to reality" if you do not know what "reality" is.
This physical creation, this created "world" (cosmos) of FLESH .....IS NOT "REAL" !
    ONLY "Spirit" ( Mind/Consciousness ) is "real"......being UNcreated ( no beginning, no end ).
"The Spirit gives life, the flesh profits nothing ( is worthless ) "
The words I have spoken to you, THEY ARE SPIRIT and they are life" ( John 6:63 )
    THINK GNOSTIC !
