🤠 Thanks For Watching!
We are Tom and Stacie Langland, known for 10 years as RV Texas Y'all.
We are Native Texans and Full-Time RVers who are all about exploring the Great State of Texas and America one campground at a time. We're on a mission to experience life, not just live it and we're bringing you along for the fun.
In 2018, we sold our house, our business and gave away just about everything we own to hit the road and see America. Our home is a 33' motorhome named Freedom. We installed an extreme solar and lithium battery setup so now we can camp just about anywhere with our dog (Star) and our cat (Astro).
Every day is a new adventure, so join us as we RV America Y'all.
Safe Travels and Happy Camping!

We used to go to Buchanan. We took our to Grandgirls at the time they were probably 6 & 8. We stayed at Big Chief RV Park. Renamed something else now. We
Went over to The Dam Grill for dinner. Triniti is the entertainer. She got up from her chair and sang. Twinkle Twinkle little star. And her sister Toriana sang her songs the restaurant patrons loved! That was before the I phone! They’re are 18 & 20 now. Thanks for sharing your travels with us!
You’re welcome, thanks for sharing your experience with us! 😊
My father was a master printer and he taught me. To see that old Linotype and that Heidelberg Windmill brings back memories from the 60's and 70's Thanks for that.
You’re welcome Rick, I (Tom) felt like a kid in a candy store! 🙌🏻
@@rvamericayall I'll bet he did. You can never forget the smell of that ink or the Linotype operator working.
Llano is one of our favorite towns. Been camping and hunting there for over 50 years. Miiller's meat market are family friends all them years. The city park is a great place to stay while in Llano and we highly recommend it.
Thanks for watching and chiming in! 🙌🏻
Y'all do the best job of explaning a place where you visit!!! Thanks and keep it up!!
Thanks RC! 😊
We just moved to llano and we moved here because the country side is beautiful plus the town is the friendliest place in Texas and that is saying a lot!
That’s really nice, I totally could see that! Thanks
Great video. I just found out a few days ago that a rock called Llanite can only be found in Llano. It is a brown quartz with distinctive specs of blue quartz. The blue quartz inclusions are very rare so it makes it a unique rock for sure. It is part of the uplift that caused the enchanted rock formation. Apparently they can be found a few miles north of Llano. So, guess who's planning a road trip to Llano. :)
When we were editing the video and got to the footage of the rock shop, guess who we were thinking of! 🤔 😂
Thank you for taking us along. We do the same thing on our travels, we look for hard to find out of the way places. You never know what you might find but are always pleasantly surprised ❤❤❤
Thanks Thomas, we believe it’s the only way to travel 🧳! 😊
Wow, what a great video! Loved the history of the jail. I love your Texas vlogs!
Thanks Sandi! 😊
The Llano area is such a beautiful area we were at enchanted Rock near Lanno Two weeks ago. Amazing park!!! Very cool train cars and jail. Great tour of Llano. Love hearing the history. The selfie stops are neat. Have a wonderful day!!!👍👍😊

We are too! 😊
Very well filmed and researched tour of Llano!
Thanks Marilyn! 😊
@@rvamericayall I live here and am a volunteer at the historical museum; you give a better tour than I do!
It's also the only place in the world that has Llanite, a granite with deep blue quartz. There's a bar in town that has a bar top made out of llanite. Really beautiful. I've had a large piece for years that I collected years ago. You can see it off HWY 16 near town.
That’s cool, we forgot to mention the Llanite! Thanks for reminding us! 😊
Thank you for sharing your story!
You’re welcome Jimmy! 😊
I have been to Llano many times one deer hunts. It seems y’all like old courthouses. My wife and I do also and have ridden our Honda Goldwing motorcycle to all 254 counties in TX and took a picture of one of us and the bike I front of the courthouse. Not only current
Fat finger sent early. We also went to any CH that was ever a courthouse. Really enjoyed the video.
Thanks, that is really 🆒! What a great adventure, wow!🤩
Howdy! Llano is a really nice town. I have seen there art festival as well as the BBQ one.
I've wanted to go up there as on the bucket list. Every time I turn around a new health issue shows up and not a good thing. I keep finding out new things about Texas that wasn't in the history book. Oh well. Hope y'all are doing well and do stay safe. Love y'all
We are doing great and thanks for commenting and watching! ❤️
I’m moving to River Way RV park in Llano on Monday. I’m excited to spend about 3 months in the area. These are my old stomping grounds. Y’all come back for the Lano crawfish bowl April 20. I can hardly wait to get back to Coopers barbecue for some ribs. Are over to inks Lake for some swimming and hiking.
We definitely miss the BBQ in Texas when we are away!
We go thru Llano all the time on our way from CA where we live to head home to Austin, San Antonio, & Houston to see family. Have never taken time to stop nut guess that'll have to change. It's especially nice to know about the RV sites. We were wondering about how the Llano River flood from a few years ago affected the area. It seems to have survived ok with all the sightseeing stops being so close to the river. TFS all about Llano❤. Hook 'Em Horns🤘
It definitely is well worth a stop!
Great tour of Llano.
Thanks 😊
Love all the details of things this little town has to offer! Will add to our itinerary next time we are in hill country. Thanks!!
Thanks Stacy! 😊

Thanks & welcome aboard! 😊
Great vid! Did you see the gallows in the jail? Ironically it was a kit building purchased from a company I believe out of Ohio. About a dozen years ago a group of us were trying to get a grant to do some restorations on the jail. You might see similar jail structures from that period in many communities. There's some great history in Llano. There were fabulous homes north of the river built by investors back east who were banking on great mineral strikes. The Badu House was an example. Badu was a geologist. Around 1887 they determined there were no valuable minerals to extract and the beautiful mansions north of the river mysteriously caught fire and burned to the ground.
We did see the gallows! 😟Thanks for sharing the history with us! 😊
Cool place! Only 9 hours straight south of our home. We better check it out! Thanks and safe travels!
You’re welcome! ☺️
Thats very creative to have the whole area as a historical site !!! Well done yall & thanks for sharing this with us ❤
