Maaaan reminiscing over the old Evo videos. Great days. I remember in the mid 00’s when my dad first started getting the 1320 DVDs. Been following chase literally the entire time I’ve been driving 😂

Yeah man remember the Mystchif DVDs with the bmw and the crazy Gumball rally run that was ausome countless hours of mindless rev head crazy sh@t and love all the early roadkill and hotrod tv stuff they was the good old days ...my kids weren't born yet I had hair colour and was happily married......shit man who's got a time machine and some Just for men I want to go back to the 00z damm aging I was young once I wanna get out after a 7 second run and summersalt again not please for me x misses to help undo me harness and try not to choke me in the process...well kids take it from an old fart that was ...to my very best recollection only 20 yesterday.....TIME GOS FASTER AS YOU AGE ....MAKE LIFE REMEMBERABLE AND HAVE NO REGRETS .....look at these fellas bloody top shelf blokes with ambition and the will to give it a go ...don't wake up tomorrow and not be able to rember to put your windows back in your daily driven race car and get to work with frostbite and then pull out the rotor button thinking your smart ...no one can steel ya car now ...12 hours later come of a basted of a shift then proceed to trouble shoot a non sparking motor for 3 hours organised me old man to drive 5 hours to trailer me home witch is only a 40 minute drive and as soon as the old bugger turned up he said sure it's not a kill switch and laughs and says what you pull the rotor button .....my ass was in my throat and my throat wanted to be in my ass .....Don't get old guys it sucks and your reaction times start to look more like cigarette breaks ....oh yeah then my Oldman forgot to drop my torana off at my place and drove it half way across the state ....witch cost me 600 for a flat bed home when if I got a tow from work straight away would have been home in an hour cost me 80 bucks and my dad would not be giving me shit 20 years later ..no instead I waited 9 hours then got home without a car and spent 2 days and 600 bags to get it back with a bonus lifetime of crap from me old fella....yeah so make the most of life ,qet those quarter times looking respectable and never tell ya dad you know what your doing when you don't....I can deal with the money loss of time and dignity but making that old fartstain and the rest of the pub rember that one stuff up evenry time I drive my pride and joy......I can't live with that so I challenged him to a grudge match down the local and pumped the rears of his lump up to 50 pound just befor the water box....and he thought he was going to school me.....yes he can do hi fives and I do low sevs it should have been in the bag but alas old freind now you got beaten by a cheaten son but Hay you need new slicks a blower belt and a bottom end rebuild ....yes one for me the young fella ...I smile as he gets dragged back yo pits and the bloody basted says well mate good race but as the engine builder your going to be pretty busie next couple weeks .....damm I never think thi ngs through.......

100% every event needs to be available streaming, hell just a couple camera's with a mic so you can hear the cars would be enough, don't even need the commentary unless some one offers to do it.
I wonder if it's feasible to just tap into the regular announcer audio and pipe that into the stream as another audio channel. Those mics must run through a computer or board with another audio output somewhere, just plop a laptop next to that and sync it up.

The first time i saw street car takeover in Indy around 16or 2017 its cold as hell. Cleetus is trying to pump up the crowd he said, "Who wants to see me ride a wheelie 😂he jumps on a pit bike and does a wheelie. down the whole track i was like, who is this guy 😂 2 yrs later, I found out it was Cleetus..😂😂
I went to a cleetus and cars in Houston Texas back in 2020 and I will have to say one of the best times of My Life The Dude does not disappoint
I think street car takeover should be on live. I think it would help get it out there to more people who may not know about it or to the people who can’t go see it in person atleast they could keep up with the sport.

You can use a linelock solenoid in line of your clutch line to have the clutch on a button.

new england dragway is super nice the surface is top notch, grandstands are nice, tons of pit space like TONS!!!! tons of parking then at the top end their is a big hill you can sit on that over looks the whole place and it sits at sea level so the air is insane, nice tower, nice bathrooms. really good camping as well.

Good point about the nitro fumes killing Ruby's crank(or at least added to the mayhem)! Look at that yellow cloud a quick blip left in the shop, right? Imagine full stomp exhaust right next to the intake even for a fraction of a second, lol!

In the UK we used to have the Street Racer Challenge that was tougher than any set of rules that exist now (afaik), as the racing was non stop (no breaks other than waiting in the fire up lane) from the 1st round to the final, so the semi final winners literally had to drive back round from the end of the track, straight into the burnout box then run. This was decades ago when modern EFi systems that make the whole race car on the street thing much easier were very basic and/or crazy expensive so most stuff was still on carbs.

in theroy you use a line lock on a hydraulic clutch, you could push it in with your foot then hold the button to close off the line to accomplish a button release of the clutch

I do believe that Sean with the white Corvette from the CZcams channel NXT SHIFT was working on something about 3 years ago called the "mansbrake" a button activated clutch holder or something like that.

For the track time measuring I was thinking embedded highspeed cameras, up the wall of either side of the race track. Provide feedback to teams by giving highspeed footage of the vehicles down the track. Plus you would capture awesome footage that could be made to profit the track's when commercialising.

On some Subaru`s with their version of VVTI type thing, there are little gauze's on the oil solenoids that control them for timing, remove them, if its have debris about the gauze's could be blocked, hth
