Last night was incredible! Thee Walter White himself pushed the button for his own song. "Say my name" (edc lv replies with walter white) "YOURE GOD DAMN RIGHT" So awesome!

Perfect title for the song. The first part of the song, like Walter, are calm and soft. The second half sounds like Heisenberg, dark and loud.
They mentioned somewhere that they really just liked the show and this was their interpretation of walter white as a character. My interpretation is that the part before the breakdown was supposed to reflect his day to day life, getting cancer, disliking the people around him, and his general dissatisfaction in life. The breakdown is him making the decision to quit his day to day life and start making meth, and the part afterward reflects his descent into disregarding other people's lives, rage.
Above & Beyond is to trance what Heisenberg is to meth

why is everyone complaining? above and beyond literally bring banger after banger out.. the whole music scene is changing. house music is getting on top. and to incorporate that, as well as the melodic trance we all love is nothing short of brilliance, they could have scraped it all too suit the ever changing music scene and lost a lot off fans but they kept a big part off them but kept up with the times. and for that reason i will always love A&B.

I love the start. It's like Above and Beyond's way of saying we can make a dirty beat as well as anyone. The combination between that and the relaxing middle perfectly sets up the big epic drop.
heard this song before i watched breaking bad. when i finally did watch it, through all 5 seasons of the show, any epic moment in a an episode, this song just plays in my head and it fits so well.
I absolutely agree with you. I hate when producers give their songs random titles that have no connection to the music they make. Seems careless. If they want to be taken seriously, they should consider everything about their music meaningful, including titles. That being said, the actual song is (in my opinion) just brilliant.
For those of you stating "this track should be more uplifting." Please go watch Breaking Bad, you cannot create an uplifting track to portray the character of Walter White. This track transforms the same way Walter White does and that's science ladies and gentlemen!

oh my, I can honestly say for the first time I have not enjoyed a tune by A&B. Put on my headphones and played while working only to eventually realize the song finished without even noticing it... Maybe Ill give it another go and hopefully it'll be better.

It's probably because of how it's like electro at a faster tempo, with almost zero lead in to the breakdown. I think it's pretty good to be honest, but I can see where people are coming from with disliking it.

It's such a fitting song title. Notice how smooth and mellow it is in the first half (just like Walter) and once the drop hits it gets kinda dark (just like Heisenberg)
People just like to make themselves sound superior to others. This is a great track, although I wish it were longer.

at first i thought this song was a joke. crazy to see it's legit.
I must say, that you haven't heard this song, before you have heard it played live. It might not be like those old OceanLab tunes that you'd listen while chilling at your house. This has an bigroom effect/sound to it. Doesn't work for me when I'm sitting here on my chair, but holy fuck this sounded good a couple a weeks ago at a club at their gig.
regardless of what anyone says, its gonna make it to trance #1 so suck it up and enjoy :)

1:23 and onward is soooo sick, it must absolutely burn the floor at shows.
This isn't my favorite A&B track and not their best, but it DOES reinforce my respect for them- the fact that they have the kahones to experiment with the newer sounds of dance music to create something unique like this is inspiring. Their newer releases on Anjuna have been hits and misses but I'm really glad they're taking risks at...despite all of the backlash from people stuck in the 90's/early 2000's. :P
