This is one of best examples of good procurements since Independence.
This was large volumes order that justified investing in local manufacturing. There are long term maintenance contracts that allows for onshoring/local manufacturing of spares. It leverages local industries in the supply chain (or will).
Now look at how the Army orders - Army orders 50 M4 APCs with no indication for future orders and then expects local production. How do you expect local productions when you order so little while paying so little?
Guess what happened, Kalyani imported M4 as CKD kits and assembled them locally.

Perhaps it served rightly said longest serving aircraft in aviation history. Overall presentation a good one.. Hopefully once more details are uncovered, a CTC on the Morbi Bridge Collapse will be made. It raises many questions and we cannot let governments get away without any accountability, especially so close to the elections. The public should be properly informed and your platform is a great way to enable it.

There seems to be something fishy about Maharashtra losing 2 Big projects just 3-4 months before Gujrat election.
However, in larger scheme of things Indian forces needs aircraft, helicopters, tanks, etc on time and private sectors will be able to help us in achieving this.

@@vijayajitkumar1 Are you a fool? During his era that project was not decided. Obviously it wld be under discussion.
If it was decided a week after BJP came to power, then it wld have been Uddhav mistake. 3 months in power os more than enough to sabotage or take the project.
If Uddhav has done anything wrong why der is no case against him?
By the way, for joblessness, Inflation, etc, congress is responsible.
For Petroleum prices, Russians are responsible.
For GDP rate going down, entire world is responsible.
And if anything positive happens, nothing was done in 70 years, World has not contributed anything but only Modi ji and BJP has done.

The C295 already exists, it was developed and manufactured by Spanish CASA in the 90s before Airbus acquired the company. It is currently produced in Spain, at the CASA/AIRBUS factory in Seville. Only in India, as part of a concession to the country for the purchase of 56 units, 40 units will be produced by TATA under license of CASA/AIRBUS, to help develop the aeronautic sector there (16 are being delivered directly from the manufacturing facilities en Spain). This means that TATA will produce it only for the Indian market and cannot sell it to anywhere else in the world.
