Ty for such a thorough review! I just bought mine for 65.00 on Amazon! Black Friday deal!
Nice!
That tv is a steal at $79 Dano! Rock solid hi-def tv for less than a hundred bucks was impossible until lately. I think you can even control those with Alexa. Not to mention you can side load other apps to open up even more things to watch.
Yeah - couldn't pass on that price!
there's something satisfying about getting a new piece of technology and going thru all the settings to turn a bunch of stuff off lol. hope you enjoy the tv Dan!
I know right??! lol
I'm a Roku man myself. More free content and far more choices. Amazon is better for games though. Have a SAFE and Happy Holidays.
I hear ya but I couldn't pass on that great price! :)
Perfect for the RV, enjoy and stay safe and healthy 😊👍
true and thanks
Thank you for this video I just purchased this same tv from best buy yesterday $109.00 I did the same like you did and turned everything off!
I'm liking it so far but just need to play with it like a new toy!
I'm very happy with this little TV to use in my RV. all the best
Good to know on the settings = thank you very much.
Glad to help
This video is a Godsend. If not for you my tv would still be in the box...like the one I bought 2 years ago that's still in the box 😁
Glad you liked ut
I totally like your review video thanks 👍
Hope it helped
Appreciate the great review. Just ordered the 1080 version from best buy for $130 in 24" for my camper.
Nice!!
It seems like ever since the covid outbreak more and more products are being delivered in the manufactures' packaging. I got almost this same TV for my rig about five years ago. 720 seems just fine for our small space. Same with screen size. 24" seemed huge when I first installed the set. IO'm not sure I would have had the wall space to install a bigger TV anyway. The big difference is I paid $199.98 on an Amazon Black Friday deal. The price of electronics has continued to plummet. If the economy was being run by technology companies, a new car would cost about $5000!
Yeah I just couldn't pass on that price!
Well, I would say that for the price and it fits, it was a great purchase...got myself a new 32" with ROKU built in...still trying to figure out everything...but happy so far...I think you will be happy too...
Super happy with it! Fits perfect in my van and the price was too hard to resist.
I have this same TV in my apartment bedroom. Love it!! For T-Mobile home internet in the living room!!!!
So cool!
I hope you have a game system for it , you know like MLB would not what to picture you without your NEW YORK YANKEES ! LOL but sooo true . Good job ! ☺️👍
Nahhh I haven't done much gaming in a LONG time. Last I had was a PS2 o yikes longer than I realized. lol
I’m using it for gaming and it’s perfect
I'm happy with it as well
How’s the video quality and speed for gaming doing for u?
Like it, compact and clear. 😊👍
Glad you like it!
Thank you for the info!!!
You are so welcome!
Thank you kindly
No problem
I buy a Vizio Smart TV D-Series Full HD 40 inches two weeks ago at best buy and i liked. I have another Vizio Smart TV HD 38 inches in my bedroom. Good video best buy make this Insignia TV's best buy workers tell me that the day i buy my Vizio Smart TV D-Series Full HD 40 inch. Sometimes is hard to trust in new brands but who knows if one day i buy an insignia TV as well.
Such a great help! Thank you! 👍😊
Glad it helped
Just purchased!
For my rv
I'm happy with mine.
Just pick this up for 99 bucks with a free echo dot can't beat that
great deal
Nice ! A bit too large for my 170 model Roadtrek. Enjoy.
luckily it fits great for my Leisure Travel. :-)
Thanks for that walkthrough it was informative. I'm not sure if I'll be getting a TV for my van or not, for the most part I use my phone or tablet even here at the home 20
I just can't do the watching things on the phone thing.. I've tried but I just don't enjoy it at all. lol
Nice video. Looking forward to the unboxing in a few days when it arrives. Good info to go over once it has arrived. Thanks. One question...Is there data bandwidth saver on this TV? I hate when the tv's go back to homepage after a few hours to save on bandwidth, ugh
I haven't seen it do it
Hello there! Maybe you covered it in this video, but I missed it, but can you play videos from a USB stick on this tv? Thanks!
Yes - well I haven't done it but says you can and there is a USB port.
I just got this for my RV. $79 from Best Buy. The 1080p version was like thirty bucks more. That’s gas money lol.
lol I hear ya!!
At 24 inches you cannot tell the difference between 720 and 1080
Do I have to have internet to use the fire tv part?
yes - or be able to connect and use cell phone of internet connectivity
I passed on this set because it was 720p. However, I bought the non-FireTV from Best Buy, which was 1080p and the same price $79, and added a Fire Stick for $20. I would have been bothered too much not having 1080p or higher resolution.
Cool - I'm not bothered by the 720 at all. But you found a good deal
720 or 1080 in a 24 inch TV isn't going to make any viewing difference
@@emdmao1 That was pretty much my opinion too.
@@emdmao1 You can only tell the difference if you are viewing it 18 inches from the TV screen.
30,000 dollar question. Just got this tonight and since for my motor home also are you going to have to load all this crap up whenever you travel and hook back up to electric??🥺🥺🥺
I normally go to places without wifi and my dumb smartphone won't cast to it. But.. the few times I've had wifi it connected without need to do all the set-up over. hope that helps
Thanks
No problem
You video..help me a lot..Do you know how to set up this TV do not start showing fire tv a soon is power on...annoying .-I do not planning to have a cable box attach to it ....other solution? please let me know
I don't have it in front of me but I think it goes thru that before you can pick other input methods.
Can you help me? I know nothing about streaming TV, but want to start watching it. If I want to buy this TV, what do I have to do to get on a network? I currently have phone and PC service through my phone company, with a wired router attached to my PC. Do I need to contact the them and change this? Do I need separate service? Would I still need to attach an antenna to get local over-the-air channels? I do not plan on connecting TV to PC, and they're in 2 different rooms. All I need to know is how to get my TV on a network if I buy this.
You can gt an antenna, connect the coax cable to tv and pick up available local channels. As for other features the tv will connect wireless to you wifi. Hope that helps
I have a question here and I am looking for a decent small tv from 24 to 30 inch to just fool around with my gaming console and I was curious do I have to go through all that set up and internet signal stuff just to get my console going or can I just plug my console up and skip all that or no?
I still have older tvs from 2006 and 2011 that don't use the internet and stuff so these smart tvs is a new thing to me so that's why i'm curious before buying one.
I haven't used it for gaming but yeah I think you can skip the set up and just choose the input you want at the beginning. Pretty sure but again haven't used it for gaming but when I use a DVD I just select the input but I have done the initial set up. Hope in some way that helps
Thanks for replying back in time since i'm still searching which tv to buy and I do like this model. I did see that Amazon has a newer 2022 model and I believe it's the same as yours but just newer but still, for a 30' is $120 and for a 42' is $150 on sale now.
Oh ok about the gaming console and it should pop up like your DVD did with the input selected and really that's all I need it for is something cheap for right now to use and the tv i'm using is a Sony 2006 year so see I do need a new tv. lol :)
Yeah you helped me and I do appreciate man.
@@FrostyMikeGaming Hope it works out for your use - I've been happy with mine. I take it traveling in my RV and I don't have to go thru the setup at all even after unplugged for days and even weeks. All the best
Thanks man I appreciate that and whenever I receive it and test it out i'll let ya know my opinion and stuff but with a 4.5 rating on Amazon sounds good to me so i'm happy too. Oh I forgot to ask can you change the picture and color and audio settings on it or is it set on automatic default only?
Yes your right most people use it in their RV and it is a good size for that or for their kids room and I wish i had a tv like this when I was growing up. lol :)
@@FrostyMikeGaming Umm it has been a while but yeah 99% sure you can adjust those settings. I've had for 2 years and still no complaints at all.
Do you have to repeat any of those steps if you unplug the TV then plug it back up?
SO far the setting seem to have stayed while I've been traveling with it.
Good price..where do I find tv code..I have this tv, but older model.. maybe 9yrs
Not really sure - maybe a google search on the model number you have?
Do you have to have an Amazon account registered with this tv for it to work on your WiFi. We want to put it in a rental cabin and not give guests the code to get into our account.
I don't have it or the instructions in front of me (its in the van) but I don't think an amazon account is required.
That tv is no longer at that price I was looking for one my 32 inch tv broke that 24 inch tv is now $99.99 still ok price but I'm on a budget I guess $99.99 I'll pay 🤷♂️ can you put an antenna to watch over the air tv? I don't have no internet only have unlimited data but on my phone? I would love to buy the old flat TVs but they are not making those tvs I don't like the smart TVs they need internet and more.
Yes - you can hook an antenna up .. I do it all the time at home and when I take it on my RV travels.
@@WanderDano Cool thanks!
So if you buy this tv and u connect to wifi will the tv turn off.. If you connection bad...
Also do u need wifi to be able to use this tv or is this tv just a wifi only tv
No the tv will still work ad yes you can use it as a "normal" tv.
A tv is a tv...
would this be good for gaming
Not a gamer but think it'd be fine
I don't have cable. I have an antenna. Do I need a cable to hook in the HDMI?
it has a coax connector
Is it too small because I might use it but I feel like it would be the same size as my monitor
It's 24 inches.. so it is not a main TV for most people. Fits in my RV well.
Can I connect my bluetooth headphones to this tv?
Yes - but I haven't done it yet
@@WanderDano Good to know. I have a bluetooth speaker that gets louder than the TV itself.
I put it to antennae only and I want to hook up my DVD player but I do not know where to go on the tv to have it go to the DVD player to play my vidoes. I bought a Insignia NS-24DF310NA21 24-inch Smart HD 720p TV - Fire TV so would you tell me where do I go to do that on my new TV PLEASE.
The instructions will tell you pretty straight forward how to go into the settings to pick the source.
Where do you plug the cord into the TV
The coax cable connects in the rear the HDMI connectors on the side
Would you need WiFi or can you use this through cable company irony need amazon
Yes as well as a smart tv it works as a "normal" tv
Not able to get sp scrum dvdr to work on here
Does it need a credit card for you to use it????
No the apps are free to download..
Such an evil laugh every few minutes
:-)
For 79 dollars you don't get an extra box.
lmao!
does it have av support
yeah
Can I connect with my phone hot spot?
I haven't tried but yes you should be able to.
I cant get my CZcams it says unavailable can u help me
Sorry - I haven't had that issue.
Where did you buy it?
Amazon - in the title and first 15 seconds of video.. lol
@@WanderDano sorry did not see
@@babygbim215 no problem 🙂
130
Dollars for this little tv.
I got a really good deal at $79
