Family camping with the 2022 Toyota Sienna Hybrid | an ideal choice.
The 2022 Toyota Sienna hybrid is a minivan with plenty of versatility and is an ideal vehicle choice for family camping. Minivan camping is a popular vehicle for car camping as it is a hybrid minivan which improves fuel economy. There aren't many green cars within the few minivans remaining but this Toyota Sienna is a Toyota minivan that I found to be a great choice and I really enjoy camping with a minivan.
We visited Silent Lake Provincial Park in Ontario and in this video I show you how versatile the Sienna minivan can be.

Beware. Newer Sienna's 2nd and 3rd row seats won't remove without tripping the airbag computer sensors. If you do bypass them, the front bags might not work!

Get an airbag simulator plug. A guy sells them online. Works perfect. Easy to remove the seats then and airbags function as normal.

Minivans rule .Mine hauls ladders for window washing vacuums you name it , then suddenly a little modification of 2 -3 hours
its a little RV with a table , kitchenette, cozy relaxer. Try that w an SUV

question. how does it feel when driving loaded with your family and gear? does the van lower a lot. we were using a honda pilot but now have a siena 2020 and we were wondering if we needed to do any type of modifications to the van with all our gear loaded up.

I had myself and my 4 children - 3 of whom are adults and all of our gear, food, clothing, etc. I never felt the vehicle was lowering at all and never gave any ground clearance a second thought.

No. I only had the car for a week and as you can see, it was full of kids and camping stuff most of that time. Not sure it would make for a good sleeper as the 2nd row seats aren't stow'n'go. But if you aren't that tall and don't mind sleeping across or in the recliners, I guess it could work.
