I just love Sabaton's new song about the Scottish revolution. So i felt that I just had to make a video-mashup with it and Braveheart. Enjoy, hope you like it!

I'm too am proud of my Scottish ancestry, I always wear a kilt no matter what the weather is, wind, rain, sun or snow. And also as I like history about Vikings and pirate's as researching more about my Scottish ancestry and clan I'm happy to know that my clan were pirate's and also fought along side King Robert the Bruce for freedom. I'm planning on having a DNA test to see if I'm related to Niall of the Nine Hostages or Vikings who settled down in Scotland from Iceland of the Icelandic clan Njàl or both which would be awesome to find out. I’m mostly Scottish, with English, Irish and Norwegian ancestry (my surname derives from Irish Gaelic), and I don’t think any accent can match the Scottish accent ahaha, nor our thirst for resistance (except August 1915 in Osowiec, we ain’t got shit on that lol)
I love it but this is a bit earlier in the timeline as william was dead at the time of Bannockburn and this is the battle of Stirling bridge if i remember correctly. Please point out if i am wrong i am not an expert for history especialy this time period

I personally don't like the movie because of how inaccurate it is it reminds me of an older version of the movie Pearl Harbor but about William Wallace since even the title of the movie is inaccurate since William Wallace wasn't called Braveheart a British admiral was called Braveheart also the Scottish equipment at the time weren't as shown in the movie their uniforms would've been like the British and they wouldn't be wearing blue face paint since they were Catholics and the blue face paint was a Pagan thing and Catholics hated Pagans

He was a revolutionary leader who was one of the leaders of the Scottish rebellion against English rule; it was his acts that inspired Robert the Bruce to continue the fight, which culminated in the Battle of Bannockburn (and the defeat of Edward II) (Taken from Genius.). 1. Because Robert dug holes near the Bannockburn bridgehead, greatly narrowing the available passage and nullifying heavy cavalry's advantage of charge. 2. Henry de Bohun was killed in a 1-on-1 duel with Robert, greatly demoralizing the English army. 2. On the second day of the battle, Robert managed to ambush Edward's army and due to the terrain, the heavy cavalry and infantry couldn't break Scottish pike wall. 3. Robert countered the longbows barragw by sending his only cavalry unit to attack them, prompting Edward to launch his whole cavalry units which were on his flanks to both stop the Scottish cavalry on one flank and engage the Scottish infantry on another flank and their center. 4. Due to the cavalry and later English infantry engaging in melee, the longbows stopped firing to avoid friendly fire. Robbing the English of their one and only advantage over the Scots in this situation. 5. Edward fled in the middle of the battle and absolutely ruined the morale of his army and his whole army routed. 6. Most of the English army were killed during their retreat either by Robert's pursuing force or local inhabitants.
