TIM from Canada if you were on your fields and you are wrapping to prevent any heat buildup or dust and heavy collections open up side doors so your exposing your Baylor this way the dust in the hair are automatically shot out the sides by keeping the doors open this prevents buildup blockage and overheating. Just another tip from a old farmer this is what I was told when I was young bailing hay, keeping the doors open prevents blockage overheating, and it will keep your neck wrap from being exposed to the dust in the head it just shot out

When I farmed as a kid we had old IH M's and a 400 IH and a JD G & A that was in the 50's 60's nothing but small square bales that was picked up by hand and hand stacked in the barn. Lots of hard work but it kept me out of trouble and in good shape. I'm 70 y/o now and enjoy seeing that old iron still doing the job. Hi,, I grew up on a dairy farm in Minnesota,, 42 years later I now own it,,, 135 acres,, pasture hay for small bales( sell them locally). And corn for picking to put in grinder and make feed for sale also, enjoying every moment “ have a great day 😊😊
Good morning Taylor from Wisconsin where it is very dry. Wish we could trade weather patterns. Wrapping your bales allows you to make hay between rain showers . That hay really looked nice. Did you use manure as a seeding agent for this field? Do you girls have a preference for dry bales or wrapped bales? Thanks again for another great video. Hope you get your Massey fixed before long. Keep smiling and hope the sun keeps shining on you. 🌞
You two should put together a hitch that is offset on that Deere rake and pull the New Idea behind it, it saves alot of time. I got a video up of one I built for a similar Deere and pull another Deere behind it that I put a dolly wheel on. I like bar rakes, but they take forever in a big field and where I am wheel rakes get to much crap in windrows so they are out. The hitch to pull two roll bar rakes helps speed things up alot.
Taylor, your energy and enthusiasm are impressive. You maintain a great attitude and that helps getting things done so Brent is a successful farmer. Blessings to you.
"Lots of error codes but they don't mean anything" yea, you're a farmer all right. That JD 863 hayrake is as good a rake as was ever made. Made in the 50s/60s, I bought one used and it took me 35 years to wear it out. Put real JD teeth on it, they cost twice as much but last five times as long as the aftermarket ones. New subscriber about a couple weeks ago, I'm quite impressed, you're the real thing alright. The farm is beautiful and you are as well. Best regards from Indiana.
Sry about the international, that’s my favorite tractor in your fleet. Hope it’s not to bad to fix. Awesome tractor action. Hopefully dries out sun here in Maine. Getting hard to get the crops in. Have a great week.
Do crows pick the bales after being wrapped? Over hear in Ireland they do pick them when they are left out in the middle of the field. We put them in single rows along by ditches if we cant draw them in straight away. Than they don't pick them. Might be an odd one picked.
I've been watching Tay's videos for a couple of months now. I have so many questions lol. Does anyone know how Taylor became an employee at this farm? it seems to be just the 2 of them doing everything. Does her family have their own farm? I know she is hoping to buy this farm one day and I certainly hope she can because she is such a dedicated hard worker and her knowledge of farm life is invaluable. Not to mention the labor intense activities. I watch Tay working and all I can think about is my back would be in spasms from all that bending and lifting. She seems pretty young so she can do it all right now. I pray for the farming community everyday because they are so under appreciated!!! If people realized the amount of hard work, expense and adversities went into farming, they would support ALL local farmers. BTW, love the cows!!!!
Her family has or had horses, had some cattle, her dad helped brint with silage and she was younger. Keep watching her other videos and she talks about it....

I had to laugh when you talk about how much you love working there. When I was younger and able to do that I helped a friend of mine on a farm for nothing, but I got paid... if you know what I mean. I loved working there! You be safe out there and enjoy the life you have❤
Hello Taylor, these are great lookin bales espacially with early hay like this with a fixed chamber baler. These Vermeer (Welger originally) balers get the job done. Good luck with your first crop. Here in eastern Québec our silage bales are all done since a week, We are waiting for a 3-4 day long sunny strip to get down the 50-75 dry bales for the young heifers
