Seeing Brent walk reminds me of all the retired dairy farmers where I'm from that had stall barns and pipeline milking. Lots of knee, hip, shoulder and back surgeries.
From milk tank diving to sign making to poop gutter maintainence ....girl you certainly have it all going on. Oh! and your a great docudrama film maker 👍🐮👍🐮👍🐮👍 A fan from New Hampshire
You are really good at explaining things, I've seen water bowls similar to yours except instead of the button the cows push a grate inside the bowl. Tim the Toolman Taylor from Home Improvement would be impressed with your skill on the reciprocating saw... 🙂
Hi Taylor, chores and maintenance on a farm are always a given but through your videos you make them informative and entertaining. I figured out why Brent is always smiling in your videos- because he knows he has a very good and talented helper. Great video as always and it’s always great to see your beautiful smile. 😊
Hi Taylor, thank you for sharing your time with us, it is always a pleasure to see how happy and caring you are to your animals ,especially setting the bird free ! Glad that all your girls were safe.Good job with the sign too ! And glad that you are aware of protecting your hearing.Looking forward to next time, best wishes 💓☕🐄🐈⬛

I really enjoyed your video today!! Thank you Taylor for sharing!! You are a " Jill of all Trades" !!! Saved a bird and accomplished so much more!!! You did a great job on those letters!!! They will definitely be the icing on the cake when painted and installed!! I hope you have a wonderful day!!! God bless!!!! Eddy
I always look so forward to your new posts. I’m still amazed at what you do. It’s very evident that you are not afraid to try new things. Loved the farm sign cut out. Great job.
Another enjoyable video. You are one great employee. Not afraid to try anything. Great job on the sign. Love your necklace. Love using those nail shooters. They do such a great job. Have a great day and God Bless
Hi Taylor! Great job with your daily adventures. Had no idea just how much work was involved with dairy farming. Please be extra careful when working around all that farming equipment. Try to power it down when you do! Finding your channel to be one of the most interesting now. Thank you!!!
Hi! Thank you so much! Yup farming is a job that’s never truly finished 😀. I will try my best to be safe and vigilant around our equipment 😁 So glad you are joining us and that you are enjoying the adventures!! 😀
When you are working by yourself and need to shoot keep a 2x4 for the purpose handy to put between the stall base and the opposite wall to force and keep the wood you want to shoot in place.
Very impressive how much you two get accomplished every day. I think it’s because if you want something done ask a busy person to do it. I enjoy your channel and look forward to every post…
Good job Tay! The "bullet gun" looked to be working pretty well. It's interesting how at about 5 am your skies are pretty bright, even with the fog. 5 am here in Michigan is still pretty dark. And we're in the same time zone! We are on the western edge of it. Fun seeing all the jack of all trade "chores" you have to do! Actually it is interesting, rather than fun. But you get the drift!🐄🐮
That sign will look great once it finished and installed, Taylor. You will have great satisfaction and memories every day you show up for work and see it on the barn. Thanks for sharing the process so far. I look forward to seeing the rest of the sign making process. Have a good day, Taylor. Take care.
I think it's nothing shy of fantastic that you saved the bird, most people would not even look twice, I say this because I care way more for creatures than I do people, hopefully it comes back and sings you will song One day!
Hi Taylor thanks for sharing another great video, great to watch how you can turn your hand to anything. Free the bird so the cat 🐈 can get it that made me smile 😅. Thanks again take care and stay safe 👍 😊.
Hi Taylor. You always have a smile and a happy attitude when you work on projects. Your attitude and skills make this a great channel. Suggestion for you and Brent: use a come-a-long secured to the post near the gutter to pull the head post back even with the concrete edge. Keep up the good work and many blessings to you and Brent.
Great video Taylor, those letters look great, are you gonna use an oil based paint, not water based, as oil will help preserve them, and do the backs with old engine oil. 😉
Hi Taylor, another day and more chores. It will be good to have the new sign up on the palour and you are doing a great job with the jigsaw. I did notice no ear protection, you will need good hearing for a long time, so please get some ear plugs. Has Brenton thought of putting some round timber logs on the inside of the stall to stop the girls from moving the bottom rail with their feet? Your bull may need check to see if he is up to job, can't have the girls not being pregnant. Thanks for sharing, I enjoyed it too. Chris from Australia 🇦🇺.
Fantastic job Taylor you really know your stuff 👏. Your passion is for your job and employment is absolutely fabulous and brilliant. Very well done and presented videos by you as always 😊. Please say hello to Brent for me and thanks again for taking us along with you in your working day. Kindly yours from all of us in Ireland. Pat Brazil.
Tks for sharing Miss Tay. Hope Brent is doing good too? How was that older cow That Brent had to go look for, sign looking good.. can't wait to see it in place.
Good job on the words. That’s going to make the barn look awesome. I always learn something new when you talk about feeding. Another great video. You and boss man have a good weekend.

Amazing hard working woman, to find someone to work for a dairy farm at your age is awesome not sure if this is your family farm or not, but I am enjoying your videos, I have been to Maine twice,we went to the Windsor county fair to show goats about 5 years ago Thanks for sharing your story.

Fun video, you are talented and artistic more than you know. Wood working is easy for some by most people would fail at cutting the letters out. Remember they will be up in the air a ways so they will look great. You know how to do so many things on the farm. Nice job saving the bird it was the right thing to do. It is nice to see someone with empathy for Gods creatures. If you have not sent the cow that could not rebreed off yet did you ask the vet about a shot of hormone to spark her hormones? We had some that could breed after a shot and some went a few more years able to rebreed. It is wonderful watching your videos and seeing how you guys farm. Hope you all stay safe and healthy.
Thank you so much, that is true it will be much harder to see flaws from that high up😊. I will definitely ask about hormone shots for that cow never know might be just the key. Thanks again!

Can you ask Brent a question that me and the neighbors were recently talking about? Here in the central mountains of PA, up until bulk tanks and pipelines come about, the barn milk house was always away from the barn and the milk was carried to it from the barn. In Wisconsin our old dairy barns like the one we have the milk house is attached. The only reason it why you wouldn't might be the location of the well. Of course, before bulk tanks you had milk cans cooled by well water.
Sorry for the late answer! Around here having the barn, milk room, and house all attached is fairly uncommon. But the milk room and barn were always attached on older barns typically with the milk room jutting in front of the barn closer to the road. Hope this helps!
I think all milkhouses had to be separate from animal housing areas. Even if it was connected to the building, there had to be a hallway or breezeway or a room between the milk house and area that the cows were housed. The barn on the farm that I grew up on was the only one I remember seeing that had a doorway directly through the end wall of the barn that went into a small room with concrete walls and roof and built into the barn hill so it was underground several feet. There was a concrete tank inside that room and filled with well water for the milk cans to be placed in.

when you talk about feeding calves it brings back the time my dairy supply guy was trying to sell me milk replacer at like $65 a 50 pound bag he said KEEP the milk in the tank and i was smiling the whole time. he said he was right i told him hmmmmm ummmm milk is $14.80 per hundred pounds and replacer is $65 for 50 pounds?? doesnt make NO sense to me your way of thinking. but he still for years tried to get me to switch
