My school was not close to that either, I have no doubt that I grew up in a low income area and the district didn't even have funds for things like art, music or anything else fun. The schools didn't have enough classrooms for any of that anyway. The textbooks were around 15 years old and they stayed at school (each desk had a number and the book was with the desk) homework was 100% printed out so you didn't have to take the book home. My schools were a hot-mess of low income. This build looks like a school in a movie to me.

My school (in 2011) had 2 gyms and 1 cafeteria. And our student store had an attached coffee shop with snacks and stuff and there was an area to sit and eat near there too.

I love this build but I have to acknowledge this part because not enough people are talking about it. Props to you for including Rachel Ambers missing poster from Life is Strange literally had to go back and do a double take 👏🏾 I loveeee the detail!!

One thing I wanted to suggest is an art/photography room. That was my upmost favorite class in HS, before I left and did online school (for being bullied). and it also had a dark room to process our photos for photography class. This looks so scary - close to my highschool too so I had so much flash backs. We had an upstairs parking lot and a downstairs parking lot (teachers would come in at the top parking lot and if you walk straight across the hallway to the principal’s office, and downstairs if you go to the right (the cafeteria is downstairs in the entrance where students enter the school), down the hall, there was the dean’s office. Each grade had their own dean , and 9th-10th grade dean had their own office as well as 11th-12th.
Deans offices is a must imo and if you can find a mascott, we displayed our mascot in the middle of the cafeteria (it was a taxidermy cougar) in a giant class container with rewards past or current students earned or trophies from winning games , student appreciation etc.
Other then that this is absolutely amazing! Keep up the good work!!!
Oh! Another thing we had in our cafeteria was a little shop where we could buy school merch as well! It was very small and kinda hidden under the stairs that went into the cafeteria. :) we also had these little tray things in the dining area where we would all eat, that had pickles, mayo, ketchup, etc for your food and such. We also had a huge track outside as well as our football field . Our football field was MASSIVE , we had a concession stand for it, and a lot of the games we played on tv bc they would get pretty insane at times. We also had a swimming pool, cause I just remembered I took swimming in 9th grade. Holy crap. You literally made me remember my life in HS lol I graduated in 2013 and it’s been a minute!
In my highschool, there was only one gym so I think it's okay to take the second gym out :)

Hi Jasmine. I mentioned in your other video a suggestion of adding a rooftop hydroponics/green garden type of situation on the roof if possible. I believe Twisted Mexi's T.O.O.L. MOD would open the possibility of this. So even if its not functional the look would be so bomb and it would put this build over the edge ( not that it isn;t already sis!) but what I'm trying to get at is that the lot literally would be all inclusive and have something from the "rooter to the tooter" lmao. just an idea. Thank you for blessing us with your talents : )

But yesss ima tryna make this school inclusive ass possible and cover all basis lol i actually never heard of that class 🤔 maybe it’s because i live in Texas and our weather is terrible for things like that. I think i seen something like that on high school musical tho lol but thank you!!!!! Ima definitely look into ❤️❤️ I’m always open to new ideas!
I know I'm SUPER late, but I kinda feel like the practice gym would be important for machinima's. I also like the 2 story library idea and the freshman cafeteria.. but I guess.. if I was going to take one of those away, I'd say the freshman cafeteria because you have one for filming purposes, already. I hope this makes sense?? GREAT job! I WISH my high school looked like this!

I graduated in May and we were still typing in our lunch code😂 It may have changed since Covid but idk loll.. Also I think we should get rid of the second cafeteria and gym to make more room, the first one is soooo cute and I’ve never heard of people having two cafeterias honestly and my high school did have two gyms but we honestly never used it and if you need more space then use that!

I graduated at 16 in 1991, but the school I went to was built in the 1950s and was nothing even close to this build.

My high school looked nothing like that. My school was only a bunch of one story buildings and looked like a mobile home park. There was three classrooms per long building and the small library, office, one gym, and cafeteria were all in separate buildings. The bathrooms were like public toilets at a public park and rarely had any toilet paper etc because kids would throw the whole roll in the garbage because they thought it was funny. There was no auditorium, just the gym, or the bleachers that they used for outdoor sports games. No practice rooms or weight room, you either used the regular gym, or outside on the grass or asphalt basketball court outside. There was no music, art or dance classes at all, so certainly no buildings or rooms for any of that. If it was raining the only thing we could do is hang around under the overhang outside the classrooms. The only food available at the school was made by the district and in a pre-packed tray. If you didn't want the meatloaf or whatever that day you just went hungry, no choices, no buffet, no soda, jut water, milk or orange/apple juice. We did have school ID but you didn't need to show it to eat the lousy food. You were not even allowed to leave campus to get food. The only area they had for kids to hang out was an area called the quadrangle (quad for short) it was an area that was a square with mostly pavement that had the cafeteria and outdoor tables on one side of the square, the school office (principal and all admin had offices in this building, no teachers lounge they had to get coffee etc on the way to work) on another side of the square, the gym on the third side of the square, and the library on the fourth side. If it was raining we just had to hang out under the overhangs of the gym, cafeteria and library. We weren't allowed inside the library, gym or classrooms at lunch so the teachers could eat lunch. We had to stay in the quad at lunch. No vending machines, not even lockers except in gym class and they were not lockable. We had to carry our gym clothes etc the rest of the day or it would get stolen. They didn't even have showers in the locker rooms so if you had gym class in the morning you would just have to stink all day.There was 40 kids per class when I was in Elementary school and 60 per class in high school, and the classrooms were tiny. The school was built in the 1950s and never been remodeled. My elementary school was even wierder than that.. I don't know where you went to school, but if your school was actually like your build you were very lucky. Very lucky.
This is amazing! When you make your machinama(sp?) Do you just leave the deco sims?
Have you considered putting the practice gym in the basement, I know that you know like at some YMCA's they have like their basketball gym is actually in the basement I mean it's not like ideal but at least you can still have your practice gym, and you can put a couple of other things down there like maybe you can put some bathrooms and like some showers and locker rooms you know beside the practice gym.

You can still use the mod! I do. The school won’t be filled with them ima leave some spots empty. They’re just filled in some of the larger areas and hallways but not every classroom.

Where do you get deco sims from? I been building neighborhoods. I really can't wait til we can build our own functional apartments, then we can have functional neighborhood lots. I would love to add some deco sims. I uploaded one to the gallery, working on another now.
I get mine from lazysimmies, starry sims, Leo sims, soft pine and other creators that i see on Pinterest! They have a mod for functional apartments i think. Anything the sims doesn’t give us something i just find a mod lol
