I purchased a used ice adventure last November, i have been unable to ride it yet due to the disintigration of my ankle joint, i was supposed to have a operation on the 7th April which has been cancelled due to the virus, hopefull the delay wont be too long, good to see you out and about Graham.
Lots of homeless people in Tucson especially winter time because of the weather. I see them a lot along the trail system as the trails follow the rivers where they often build shelters. I always nod, wave or say hello if they look my way. Many times they ignore me. I still see them as fellow human beings. Down on their luck, drugs, alcohol, mental problems, everyone has a story don't they. Lots of people walking dogs and once in a while I'll say, "Another dog walking a human," which generally gets laugh. Then there are those with ear buds and noses stuck into phones oblivious to anything around them. What are they missing out on? (Rhetorical question) I had entertained the idea of visiting the UK but the pandemic blew that idea all to h@##! I don't know if I could ride their though after 50 years of driving on the opposite side of the street. Afraid my life would get shortened rather quickly.😯 I'll miss getting to meet you and Tim (My distant English cousins)
Nice to see you; to see you, nice! Welcome back ... Although I now live in San Jose, California I lived for nearly 50 years in England. You memories of Saturday Morning Pictures struck a chord! 6d to get in (or 9d if you went upstairs) and the whole thing was a riot! My wife and I both ride ICE trikes .. mine is an Explorer from 2001 and hers is an Adventure from 2017. We try and get out for a ride at least 3 times a week and we have noticed, as you have, that with the coronavirus lock-down folks are suddenly friendly ... hello, how are you doing ... and you realise people are generally very nice. We also feel the same as you do when it concerns the homeless people. Homeless people mostly ex soldiers while illegal immigrants housed!! Sorry but our own people should come first irrespective of what government, don't start me off about labours war criminal Tony Blaire ,enjoyed your ride
I do Understand, But at times of like this we have to drop a lot of what are narrow minded views. are humans we piss and shit the same. We hurt the same, wish for the same. we all cry and and can be happy. We can always get back to our beliefs after this crisess. after this will we be changed? will we let polatishion run the world as they have or will we lern from this crisess that people come firest.
