Baby boy, you ain't heard nothing yet!!! These boys are phenomenal!!! You're about to go down a wonderful rabbit hole, and WE ARE HERE FOR IT!!!
That's Austin Brown singing lead on that song. Adam Rupp is the beat boxer beyond compare. Most people think they're country but they do all different genres. I don't think they cover , they upgrade! You can pick any song and be surprised. End Of The Road by Boys to Men shows others in the lead Ring Of Fire features Avi from PTX.
Their so good they make the original singers sound bad.
You have just been introduced to the best a cappella group out there. These guys are all so talented. They lean towards country but they can do any genre. They all can take the lead depending on whos voice is best for the song. They are known for their tight harmonies. Tim Foust is one of the best bass singers out there & their beatboxer vocal percussionist Adam Rupp can simulate any sound.
Austin Brown did a fabulous job of this classic song. Loved Percy Sledge's version, but this was taken to another level. I think it is also better than Michael Bolton's version. And remember this was done during quarantine, so the guys weren't even together.
Home Free 101: The group formed in 2000, and beatboxer Adam Rupp is the last original member. Tenor Rob Lundquist introduced himself to the group in 2008, about the time that HF went full-time. Tim Foust has been holding down the bass slot since 2012. Later that year, tenor Austin Brown (the lead singer in this video) met the others aboard a cruise ship. Not much later, he joined the crew. Baritone Adam "Chance" replaced HF co-founder Chris Rupp in 2016. NOTE: Austin's lady was in the studio to give him some inspiration. It worked.
Home Free forever!! Sing all genres!! They are the best of the best!! Austin killed it!!
Home Free is the best out there. They never miss on a song. More Please. No instruments. Home Fries are coming
That's Austin Brown. Listen to him SANG Unchained Melody. It will blow your socks clean off your feet!
Home Free- "MAN OF CONSTANT SORROW" is a must! Home Frees fan BASE will supply you with their music and you'll understand!
peace
The Home Free rabbit hole is one fun tripâŠ.EnjoyâŠ.itâs a Blast đđâŒïžđ¶đ”đ„
Just a few songs End Of The Road, Folsom Prison Blues, Man Of Constant Sorrow to start
don't forget The Butts Remix
@@TreezyTree figured he'd better ease into that one lol
Wait till you hear them sing End of the Road by Boyz to Men! You are in for it...they kill it!! đ
Dude... you ain't seen nothing yet! More Home Free!!!!!
Keep doing Home Free! The Home Fries will come! From a Home Fry!
Home Free is incredible. They have an National Award winning beatboxer and every one of them sings like an angel. Their bassist is the best of all the acapella groups.
Acapella group of none other! Keep researching Home Free. You won't be disappointed!
New sub here, great reaction! It's always fun for us Home Fries (fan name) to see a new reactor find and listen to a Home Free song. In my opinion they are the best a capella group out there. They do many different genres, but lean toward country. I'm going to suggest a couple of the non-country songs, Boyz II Men song End Of The Road and Doobie Brothers Listen To The Music. Hope to see ya soon!!
This is your first Home Free reaction? You havenât even made a scratch in the surface of what they have out there. It is a rabbit hole for sureâŠ..a deep, wide, ever changing and evolving rabbit hole. These havenât put out a bad song. The run the gamut of genresâŠ..country, R&B, current and oldies you name it theyâve done it or they will soon! Iâll be looking for more Home Free reactions from you! đđŒâ€ïž
Mr. Austin Brown taking the lead on this one! There is no lead singer in this group - they all are phenomenal. New sub - look forward to more. Fans of Home Free are called home fries ----> đ
I have loved Percy's version forever but this is my new favorite. Holy cow, can it get any better than this? I dunno. đ„°â€
SANG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love watching people discover my favorite group. They only do quality. Keep listening.
Time for their version of "End of the Road" Boyz to men.....
I love your reaction. Yep Austin gave you stunning vocals. Welcome to Home Free.
That's Austin Brown and he's đ„ -- great reaction to an all-time classic!
Great reaction! Home Free is the real deal. The amazing thing is, they sound just as great in person! Love these guys! Keep listening and youâll be a Home Fry in no time!
"They better not mess it up." Hahahahaha! Well, they killed it. Fabulous backing harmonies. Perfect vocal percussion. And, of course, Austin just sailing off into the stratosphere like it's normal. Welcome to the Home Free party. There is so much good music waiting for you. I'll just recommend a couple: The Driver and Helplessly Hoping. Enjoy!
"Like it's normal" LOL, Austin calls soaring into the stratosphere "Tuesday".
@@professionalvampire1 Ha! Whatever he calls it, it's amazing.
But his lower register has also become absolutely gorgeous in recent years. I'd recommend Playing with Fire - when he takes the lead on the second verse, I almost fall off my chair. Every time.
He was amazing and made the song so much better than it already was
Percy would approve this cover
This was during the Covid pandemic and produced separately! Austin is in the studio singing to his love đ
A dose of Home Free will get ya right ! Git ya some !!!
that man would be Austin Brown....this was made during the pandemic hence the reason they aren't together. Check out their version on End of the Road
welcome to the rabbit hole
I'm here for Home Free...Keep em' coming! đ
Welcome to the rabbit hole! You are in for an awesome experience. Check out Home Free's cover of "End of the Road" by Boyz2Men. #homefries
Home Free is the nummer one A-cappela group for me. Follow them and you won't be disappointed. Rather shocked. With the best beatboxer/vocal percussionist around (Adam Rupp)and all great singers.(Austin Brown, Rob Lundquist (glasses and beard), Adam Chance (called Chance), Tim Foust(Bass)) They do not have a permanent lead singer, but see which song suits them best.
Here it is Austin Brown.
Austin nailed it. He gives himself completely here and also plays very well with the cameras. The great harmonies, deep bass and the unbelievably freaking good beatboxing/vocal percussion/vocal sounds finish it all off for me. I think it sounds perfect because of all the different beautiful voices. I grew up performing Percy Sledge which I already loved. Then came Michael Bolton's performance where I couldn't say it was better. But this one from Home Free certainly is.
Good luck you're about ready to go down the deepest rabbit hole ever in acapella history.. they have tons of cover songs lots of original songs.. hold onto your seat be prepared to be amazed these men are not of this world just saying.. you'll see what I mean when you get to know who they are and their roles and what they sing.. you'll see what I mean the more you hear of these men and their talent.. Love my Home Free..đĄđđĄđ
Home Free is Awesome â€
What a great song for you to start with to get into home free. This is just the beginning of what this great acapella group has in store
Man you have just opened up a can of worms you ain't prepared for.. You need to get into more of this group.. Seriously they are amazing...
Hahahaha! I've got to add another comment. When you said, "That man was sangin' all by himself. Yawl just do background for me" I was dying laughing because it's so true. The group GAVE this to Austin and backed him up all the way! Just so frickin' beautiful and all without instruments. Simply amazing. Loved your review. đ„°
mayday, end of the road, so long dixie, man of constant sorrow, look them up they have so many
I love a newby that "discovers" Home Free!
My favorite group of all times. They have such talent and they are all so lovable. Enjoyed your reaction. You might like their cover of End of the Road.
Rita Cook Rocks đ€đ€ đ€
Home Free is the best!!! đđ„đ„

They released this during the pandemic, and they were all in separate places. Austin was in the studio, and his girlfriend was just off-camera onstage with him. Thatâs why he kept looking in that direction.
This was Mr Austin Brown and his talented bandmates. There are a load of suggestions below as to further Home Free songs, but Austin also has a solo career on his own channel. There are a lot of beautiful covers and his own originals. You might want to check out Unchained Melody (his version, not the band's), which has reached 12.5 MILLION views, for the very good reason that it's amazing! Guaranteed to knock your socks off.
WOW. CRAZY couple years. Never thought I would see it in my lifetime! FIRST young Lanie Gardner nails the great great STEVIE NICKS and now Home Free Nails the late great Percy Sledge! Interesting times
Welcome to the Home Free rabbit hole!đ đłïž You will not regret it!đ„đ„đ„ Austin is my favorite, not bad looking either!âșïžâ€ïž
Great reaction! Thank you for reacting to Home Free. Anything you pick from their huge catalog of songs will be amazing! New sub.
Okay be honest now⊠how many of you non-HomeFries forgot that thereâs no drum kit or bass guitar?
Welcome to the rabbit hole!
He WAS in there all by himself. This was made during Covid from their homes - separately.
Of the many reactions to this video I have never seen any that conveyed such sheer joy in listening to a new interpretation of a classic - you looked like they had written and produced this version just for you.
đ„đ€Łđ€Łđ€Ł
Welcome to the home free rabbit hole â€
Austin Brown (lead here) and Adam (beatboxer) killed it. Home Free is amazing. They are known for their great harmonies. This was during Covid so I thought the use of the tvs was clever. Good reaction. They all take the lead depending on the song. They are country a cappella so no instruments but they use them occasionally or when a guest joins them and uses them. They sing covers but also write and sing their own songs. You might like their latest with Texas Hill called Giving Up on You. Itâs a great one. đ
I love Home Free and just subscribed to you,. Home Free is the Best!!!!!
Got more on the way
Wayment. What just happened?!! They sound great. A little more soul than pentatonic. Great find
Shocked me too!! Lol
Home Free will do that to ya
Young fella, your reaction is a delight! Just remember, these boys don't use instruments!! Sheeeesh!!!
if you liked this you will love End of the road by home free. Also ring of fire or Man of constant sorrow is a good next step. They can sing all genres of music. they are super talented.
Home Fry here and new subscriber hoping for more Home Free! Thanks for reacting to my absolutely favorite group.
â€â€â€I love me some Home Free!!!!!!!! I know we are outta Christmas season but O Holy Night is AMAZING!!!
Welcome to the Home Free rabbit hole. These guys are the best. You need to check out their cover of Boyz II End of The Road. Percy Sledge would be so very proud! Love your reaction!
Your reaction was wonderful. Home Free is so talented, you have so much to discover. â€
He actually goes up another note at the very end. I think you stopped it before it got there. With Home Free you really need to listen to the very last to appreciate their talent. Nice vid.
Home Free has arrived, everyone else is second best
I've just started listening to Home Free today, I started with the boys to men cover, I was blown away.
I also listened to Home Free and Kenny Rodgers, wow that was out of this world, I'll carry on listening to them....
Welcome to the deep rabbit hole đł called Home Free! Man Of Constant Sorrow is often the first song reactors react to. The beat boxer Adam Rupp is not human, an alien drum kit. Brothers In Arms is beautifully haunting and a bass feast. Workin' For A Livin' showcases their humor with perfect vocals. For best enjoyment, wait until you know the band members and their vocal roles before you react to Mayday.
Great reaction. Now do Man of Constant Sorrow. You'll see everyone's talent in that performance
Now that we broke you in try The Butts Remix & Hillbilly Bone! love your reaction!
Home Free is THE GREATEST!! đâ€You wonât be disappointed in ANY songs the sing! Perfection!
Subscribing for more Home Free. Theyâre amazing. I would suggest you start a playlist for them if you havenât already.
Fan-girl is now officially in love with Austin. â€
It's A Capella (ahh capella) idk why lol
Great reaction to a great rendition of a classic song! â€
Love your reaction, so glad you enjoyed it. I look forward to watching you dive down the Home Free rabbit hole!
Really, really love your reactions! You don't hold anything back and just enjoy it all! Just found you tonight and see I'm kinda behind on your reactions. Been to 7 live Home Free shows. They are incredible on stage, fun, funny, incredibly talented and you leave happy and shaking your head!!! Take care and thanks again.
Yeah, I'm tryin' to get caught up (and doin' it in this sitting) :) It's a damn good rabbit-hole. Be Safe
Butts remix, End of the Road, Brothers, Helplessly Hoping,
Welcome to the world of Acapella Greatness! Home Free is top notch as well as PTX! May I suggest End of the Road, Butts Remix, Man of Constant Sorrow, My Church, How Great Thou Art, to name a few! Lol Get your rag ready!! đđ€Ł
React to more Home Free videos and you will have a lot more followersđź Austin Brown, the harmonies and Adam Ruppâs beatboxing killed this song!! So many other songs to react to⊠Ring Of Fire, Mayday, Man of Constant Sorrow, Elvira with the Oakridge Boys, End of the Road by Boyz to Men just to name a fewâŠremember they are a country acapella group, no instruments đź Great reactionđ I Love Home Freeđ
New sub here because of Home Free. Enjoy the ride! They are fabulous.
Oh, man... SO much more to discover with these 5 incredibly talented men! đłđ€Żđâ€đ¶ Definitely check out "End of the Road" (Boys 2 Men cover, R&B), "Listen to the Music" (Doobie Brothers cover, Southern Rock), and "The Butts Medley/Remix"!! That last one's a trip! Lol It's a medley of multiple songs in multiple genres that you'll recognize (country, rock, rap, hip hop), all mashed into one heck of a fun ride! đđ And they sound great doing it!
For a different side, give it a whirl with "Thinking Out Loud/Let's Get It On" (Ed Sheeran/Marvin Gaye mashup) or "Woman, Amen/Female", one of my favorites!
Wanna have some fun and shake your tail feathers? đđ Listen to "House Party" or "Can't Stop the Feeling" (Justin Timberlake/Trolls)!! Oh, yeah!! Don't forget "Love Train" (O'Jays cover)! đđ¶đđ€Ż
Wanna hear what they can do with a couple beautiful hymns?? Wow! Check out "How Great Thou Art" or "Amazing Grace" (Peter Hollens feat. Home Free).
They do some great collaborations, too! Legendary Kenny Rogers joined them for an awesome rendition of "Children, Go Where I Send Thee"!! đłđ¶đ Then the great Don McLean (original artist) joined them for an unforgettable version of "American Pie"!! That one will get ya singing along!
Want originals? Got a couple albums' worth to choose from! Check out "Catch Me If You Can", "Dive Bar Saints", "Lonely Girl's World", or "Road Sweet Road". All are great!
HF is not afraid to bring light to a cause they believe in. Anti-bullying, sui-cide prevention, anti-bigotry, etc. Check out "Everybody Walking This Land" & listen to Tim's message at the end. †Another good one is "Undivided". A song I consider their masterpiece is actually an anti-war song from Dire Straits called "Brothers in Arms". Be prepared to pick your jaw up from the floor.
Speaking of brothers...check out their Need2Breathe cover, "Brother"!! It's an absolutely beautiful song done vocally to perfection...but the video will make you laugh! đ The guys are LARPing in a city park, battling together as their favorite warrior-brothers! LOL
There's patriotic music, solemn songs, party songs, love ballads, funny stuff, country, rock, R&B, tons of great Christmas music, and more!
OK, Now that I've written a small book...LOL...that ought to give you a great start to see all sides of this awe-inspiring group! They've got "IT", for sure - and it'll draw you back time after time! đđ Their stuff will also draw you a huge influx of subs! đ
Geeze, after all of that, I sure as hell hope you actually read your comments!! LMAO
Woohoo! So glad I subbed! More Home Free!!!
End of the Road
My Church
All About that Bass
â€
These guys have a way of making you love songs you didnât really listen to before lol
New sub, here for the a capella! Thanks for the reaction!
Subbed for more HF!! These boys have a Huge fan base!!!
Great reaction.
Love your reaction.
And...another one falls down the rabbit hole. You are so fucking doomed. We'll save you a chair.
You're about to be buried in Home Fries.
Home Free is the only country a capella group out there, but they can - and do - sing every genre. And they have no lead singer. Every one of these men can take the lead, and they pick the lead for each song by who does it the most justice. During quarantine, they kept all us Home Fries sane by dropping new videos every couple of weeks. God bless âem.
All the men can beat box, but Adam is in a league of his own. He's a world-class vocal percussionist and there're good reasons he's called a "Freak of Nature" and âthe man who swallowed a drum kit.â For more of Adam's incredible beat boxing, check out Sea Shanty medley (the man makes castanets, for Pete's sake), his no-monica solo on Working For A Living and Ain't Going Down Til The Sun Comes Up (that video is on Facebook), and his drum solos.
For more of Tim's seismic basso profundo, listen to Brothers In Arms, Misty Mountains (his collaboration with Peter Hollens), Folsom Prison Blues, or Ring Of Fire (the Sing Off version).
For Chance's smooth baritone, check out Down to the Honky Tonk, Brothers In Arms, and Folsom Prison Blues. (Awesome.. basso profundo and a baritone/bass in the same group.) FYI, Chance is singing (throat singing) the jaw harp sounds - without the jaw harp - in Man Of Constant Sorrow.
For Rob's soulful tenor, check out End of the Road, Blue Ain't Your Color, or Bless The Broken Road. (Blue-eyed soul is in good hands with The Beard.)
For Austin's soaring power tenor, check out Crazy, Moonshine, When A Man Loves a Woman, or Bring Him Home. (But bolt down your chair âcause he'll sing you right out of it.)
For their humor, check out Butts Remix, Working For A Living, Between A Rock And A Heartache, Make You Feel My Love, Brother, and Champagne Taste on a Beer Budget.
For their amazing arrangement skills, check out Do You Hear What I Hear. (Adam's arrangement. Nothing else like it.)
For their tight harmonies, check out Helplessly Hoping, How Great Thou Art, Brothers In Arms, or Auld Lang Syne.
For their mashups, check out Thinking Out Loud/Let's Get It On, Fishing in the Dark/Boondocks, Country Fried Pop, or Woman, Amen/Female.
The Home Free men are masters of collaborations. They put the spotlight on their collaborator, supporting them with wonderful vocals and amazing harmonies. Check out God Bless the USA with Lee Greenwood, American Pie with Don McLean, Elvira with The Oak Ridge Boys, Children Go Where I Send Thee with the late Kenny Rogers, Donât Laugh At Me with Mark Wills, Christmas In Dixie with Alabama, or Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For with Peter Hollens.
Get at least five videos under your belt and then listen to Mayday - the official video. After Mayday, you'll be ready for Tim and Austin doing My Maria or Tim's mashup of Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow/Stay.
Then, when you come up for air, check out Rob and Austin singing Nessun Dorma. You'll need smelling salts after that one.
Don't miss their official videos. The Home Free men will often do a straight, gorgeous vocal performance, but they'll add elements of humor to the video that will leave you chuckling or even laughing out loud. (Folsom Prison Blues, Between A Rock And A Heartache, Make You Feel My Love, Working For A Living, Brother).
And God help you when you get hit with the Home Free Curse. Theyâll do a song you absolutely cannot stand and make you like it against your will. Iâve been hit by the curse four times now, and Iâm not alone.
Their synergy is phenomenal. Each is an artist in his own right, but man - when they sing together, magic happens. Wicked talent polished by decades of hard work. (Unchained Melody, Castle On The Hill, Seven Bridges Road) To paraphrase another Home Fry, âThey don't just own a cover, they upgrade it.â
You are doomed, Home Fry. Bring ketchup.
He is Autin Brown. They are able to do everything from country to Opera and everything in between. There is no limit to their talents.
Austin is one heck of a singer
Love these guys. Saw them live but unfortunately Austin was sick. The others filled in beautifully but can't wait for them to come around again so I can experience them all!! đ©·
End of the Road is phenomenal!! Rob does a great job!
Check them out and try man of constant sorrow
Welcome to the rabbit hole. These guys are amazing and just as good live. Pick anything they do and it's fire.
Loved the reaction man. Welcome to the rabbit hole that is Home Free you should check out there cover of End of the road Boys to Men they absolutely. Well you need to see for your self check it out
Yeah youâre gonna love these guys. What is even more impressive is that they were all in different places during the pandemic, and each did their part and then put it together long distance. Wait till you hear End of the Road by Boyz to Men. Most of us that are Pentaholics, are also Home Fries as well. You keep doing their music and we will follow you anywhere.
IN my opinion Austin Brown kills this song
And does the best job I've ever heard.
You can play the original next to it and there's no comparison Percy Sledge and Michael Bolton both just got schooled.
Look up talent in the dictionary and you will see a picture of home free these guys are amazing.
Austin Brown on lead but all of them are great.
