They need to add that sonic boom to his Mach Rush, all you got to do is cancel the ability by pressing the ability again

The Sonic boom already exist. Sadly you have to run into an object to trigger it.
That's an awesome idea. Like a rhino stomp but it drags them back and up, even a grouping mechanic in a straight line following his path.

The strength does affect the damage mitigation on Kinetic Plating. And at 100% Power strength, and maxed out Redline, you gain full immunity to IPS/Heat/Cold/Blast (and 80% even when Redline isn't active). And... let's be real here. The only real threats in the void are Bombards, Arson Eximus (and nullifiers, but can't be immune to them). So having Molt Augmented to offset the strength loss from Overextended is really nice.
Yeap, 100% str after all is "must have". Iirc molt aug + 40% at max stack
And iirc arson eximus is fire damage and gauss love it, isnt it?

Gauss is a frame that visually and mechanically I liked, but just never really used. Then yesterday I saw a build where someone mentioned using the Praedos as the primary weapon due to its crazy range, and man did that make a difference. With kinetic plating and the redline boost you are just constantly getting energy and battery and with the new melee arcanes/tennokai oh its wonderful.
I think the reason he isn't used that much is just because his base variant is a bit annoying to farm.
@@darthplagueis13 yeah the disruption is annoying but the real annoying part is fortuna standing and mining to get the materials for the parts

@@HouseofGausss its mainly because of thermal sunder helping it, having the armor strip and fire procs lets it rip through stuff. Also with stuff like melee exposure for corrosive damage since gause is very much a frequent caster. I've been trying to test it myself but there also the possibility that melee duplicate will also double dip with the battery gain of melee. The Praedos build while mainly crit is also running spring loaded blade and weeping wounds to make use of slash procs increasing its range and since gauss covers the other needs with TS. It also has nice movement speed buff with it's evolutions and that a nice boost for gauss....the build can run SP and while it needs a bane for longer runs it can hold up fine.
Edit: if you want more info on the setup i shamelessly s̶t̶o̶l̶e̶ borrowed the build from the channel "B L A N K"'s SP gaiss video. Granted i changed up some stuff for myself like the evolutions.
Oh shit, just got a riven for the Praedos too. Hopefully I farmed enough angels in the recent event to actually build the thing this month.
I could never helminth off Mach rush, it's like the essence of Gauss. Also, I just like it for fun. There a very few games with proper speedsters, so I'll take any I can get
It's also useful for charging up redline to max. Just spam mach rush to quickly build up redline and have fun murdering enemies.
Like he said, it really is a love it or hate it lol. Personally i hate it. I hate abilities that restrict my movement and the speed really becomes unwieldy for anything outside open worlds or big ass tile sets. It just doesnt do it for me, id rather just play volt if i wanna go fast

Considering you have nourish I think going all the way for Equilibrium might be a waste of a mod slot, you could just use a purple shard, and use Nira's Hatred. Thatd get you 15% DUR, and some HP.

Probably the only frame to have every one of its abilities to perfectly compliment each other so well that its hard to consider a subsume unless its for a more specific build.

I actually am trying something diffrent with my gauss build. I put three green archon shards (one to give 15% Ability Damage on enemies affected by the corrosion Status. And (two to give me 100% armor strip with corrosion). Might take one off when I get another red tauforge for more duration, but I am finding the 15% ability damage + double heat proc from archon vitaility to be extremly strong.
With the recent shield gating changes, building for shields has actually become quite fun for me, at least because it offers some sinergy. What does this have to do with gauss? His battery decreases shield recharge delay and speeds ups shield Regen. If you slap a shield Regen mod in your gauss, you can pretty comfortably survive by shield gating only
What shield mod you use on both gauss and companion pet ?
@@kuja5809 Fast deflection for Warframes and accelerated deflection for companions. They give the best bonuses. Although you can run fast deflection and vigilante vigor in your Warframe for even more shield recharge

Gauss is one of my favorite frames, I’ve been waiting forever for his prime. As soon as I got home I farmed him & the Acceltra prime, now I just need to get the Akarius Prime. I have 2 red & 2 taugorged red shards for Duration, & a red shard for melee crit damage since I melee a lot. I look forward to more skins for him in the future

4:31 Not trying to be too nitpicky but as far as I know Gauss' Thermal Sunders armor strip is the only armor strip ability in the game that reduces armor based on current enemy armor not max armor and therefore doesn't benefit as much from corrosive projection, since it's multiplicative with it.

Completely unrelated, but Console finally got a complete bundle for the Prime Access AND the Accessories. I thought that was really neat
Never tried Gauss before, got his Prime. Tons of fun, I do no subsume and have him themed like Sweet JP's Camaro from Redline, also that OST is great to listen to while playing Gauss
Edit: And man do I appreciate how cheap of a build Gauss is, doesn't take much to make him work
All his abilities work really well together
you can mod him for nothing and he still plays really well. This is the reason i have a sprint speed build for him
The bullet shift and nose flicker. Gauss is cheeky af
if you don't use molt augmented, and stay at 40% strength, Kinetic Plating will not be 20-100% damage reduction based on battery level, but a mere 8-40%. pairing that with corrosive projection instead of brief respite means your survivabilty for anything endurance will be really bad.
Imo the best place to farm axi would be Lua Apollo, because quick mission could give axi but apollo is garunteed axi from round 1 if u kill all demolysts
Thank you for this guide i am going to use it on my Gauss Prime when i get my hands on him :) But one part i am missing here: what actual companion are you using Gauss with since these became really strong to make the builds even stronger?!
A tip for thermal sunder you can armor strip as long as your battery is above the line you just gotta cast cold heat like one more time
If youre using nourish you can just use energy nexus in place of equilibrium to save some slots and also the energy regen is insane with the nourish modifier
Honestly it's not too bad even without Nourish. If you're playing high-level content you're gonna be getting energy orbs fairly frequently from Eximus enemies anyway, so the regen just helps fill the gaps. I don't even run Flow on my Gauss anymore.
Ive been using him with shivering contagion and its reaaaaaaally fun with the blast procs
I slapped on a maxed out primed redirection with arcane agesis and I pretty much don't lose my shields. My second favourite warframe
So when we're going to see a frost and ember prime in character with these kind of intros! 😆

I LOVE Gauss. Im a particular fan of how a 100% Redline is a complete armor strip with a double cast of Cold and Heat with Thermal Sunder. All armor gone.

Brief respite i just use it cus this is a spamable thermal sunder build and if i were hit by electricity i can just spam it over and over till its over, cunning drift,primed continuity,streamline,equilibrium,umbrul intensify,overextended,primed flow,fleeting expertise rank 3 since you only need 170 efficiency,and stretch
Arcanes: molt augmented and efficiency
4 red shards duration and one yellow casting speed
You can switch out umbral intensify for any other mod if you have molt augmented maxed rank i use intensify cus i only need to get 60 kills to get 100% strength back instead of 200 this build took me to level 1k on zariman youll only have 65 seconds of his redline and kinetic plating but the lower the duration the quicker you reach 100% and the quicker you reach invincibility and full potential thermal sunder
With Gauss you can use Seismic Bond for a constant +30% efficiency bonus. His abilities 2&4 both count as channel abilities for it while active (which is always). You just need a companion that reliably does constant damage to enemies (any damage amount). Panzer Viral Quills, Hound Synergized Prospectus + Manifold Bond, or several Sentinels can all work great.
I loved how Gauss used to break the visuals of the gamewhen he had too much speed lol.... I wish it was still in the game and mach speed is useful, the rare 1 skill thats awesome

Hey I got back into warframe after a rlly long time and I just wanna ask how do I actually obtain the mods for the build or how do I just easily get mods overall?
I went for a devastating shield and armor vampire build with 100% immortality with endless shield gating in between redline and kinetic plating
I enjoy turning on his 2, then mack rushing into walls and pillers near enemies who all die from AOE slash procs. Finally a reason to run into walls !
Personal preference, but I’d say that with archon flow I’d switch out energize for molt efficiency, duration = Even more redline buffs. Also red archon shards on him are.. beautiful.

Have You Tried Using Molt Efficiency It Gives You That Bit Of Extra Duration Boost Just Curious I Use It On My Build And Even Though I'm Only Using 2 Red Shards I Still Have 78 Seconds Of Duration
It is about math. Iirc the effic molt+ 30 35% but need shield.
So, you can use red shard+ dur and molt augment

I have to admit I was disappointed when I tried the classic Gauss Low-Level* Nuke build on the Murmur SP missions and was immediately reminded that Necramechs are fully immune to armor strip.
You really don't need nourish cuz he gets his energy regen from his 2 and energize if ya have that tbh

tested it, across over 200 individual enemies, and you are correct. Archon Flow did not proc a single time.
I think your right, as cold dmg has to be the killing blow. @TacticalPotato why did you choose Archon Flow vs Primed Flow? Just curious :).
I love my guass prime but I'm only MR10 with 100 hours and we all know that is slow progress to get anywhere near these builds. But one day... after many more hours of grinding 😢

Over 200 dur is beauty, but imo, 120 130% is good enough.

Why is my thermal sunder not scaling? The heat dmg does not increase as well as the enemies do not freeze with multiple casts. This is the case with or without redlining

I would love to play gauss all i need is a good primary or secondary weapon that would feel good on him because he is so fast that aiming feels bad and he shoots so fast that he depletes aoe ammo in seconds even with energized amunition. I dream of blitzing through a tile blowing everyone up without even stopping but i havent managed to achieve it yet.

One of the top 5 primaries in the game already, unlimited ammo and practically no reload because of incarnon, is aoe beam weapon very good weapon on him.

I made Gauss a speedster assassin, If you helminth him you're gonna NEED either his 1 or 3 to keep his battery full charge.
if you are playing melee he gets 0.25 charge for every hit when his 2 is active so you don't really need either 1 or 3 but you can't get rid of both at the same time already sooo

This guide is outdated. In Dante's patch they buffed mach ruch and Merulina so you don't loose speed when you hit wall.

For Thermal Sunder, I recommend Heat -> Cold -> Heat, and here’s why:
Using Cold first followed by Heat will knock enemies outward
Using Heat first followed by Cold will vacuum enemies into you
In either case, enemies suffer the Armor strip, and to make the most out of your effective range, sending enemies away from you may knock them out of range of the next cast.
