I love your videos man. ❤
Keep up the good work.
You win the build off, definitely more attention to detail.
Started with a much better car, so had a lot less work to do.
@@C.CUMM1NGS I don't completely agree, because they both strip back to bare metal, so effectively a blank canvass, it's the details that make it.
when you said, " remember your lubrication. you don't want to snap your piece off in any holes", I almost fell out of my chair.haha really enjoy your videos.
Also had a good laugh
Mate that's an awesome build :) I agree its probably your best builds, awesome details! Classic we both did belts! Love the colored base and that blue looks great.
Thanks for the opportunity mate
Hey guys, well done. Both of you are awesome.
Both fantastic builds, especially when you consider the snotbox Danny started with 😮 Well done guys, may have to have a go myself since you make it look so easy....
Yeah, but yours was a total disaster at the start. Totaled windscreen, gobs of paint and dust, rivets not screws. You did really well with what you had to work with.
loved this build, and i have to say, the test drive at the end was fantastic, great audio, my 7 year old self was totally there lol....
Whilst I like this build, Danny definitely had a tougher/more damaged/worn/aged car to work with.
Danny’s channel is why I’m here. Both of you blew it out of the water!
Listening to you I almost felt like I was watching Korg from MCU. It isn’t just your accent but how chill you talk as your explaining things.
Danny did have a lot more work to do. His was a wreck. Loved the videos from both.
That's incredible! Such a level of quality to the detailing. Fantastic job Rob. 👏
Superb restoration. I think that you and Danny are both NO.1 winners this time.
What a work of art. I am blown away by the level of detail and expertise you have thrown into this build. You should be very proud of your efforts.
You and Sideways King built the best Escorts I've ever seen :)
WoW here's ya Winner. Amazing details I LOVE it also love Danny's build n these build offs are Great for our community n fun n enjoyable to watch so THANKS FULL SEND U.K.
Having come here from Danny’s RS build, I these build offs are a great idea and good fun. Of the two I think yours is the nicest, great work!
Danny did well to revive his car from what it was... but your RS2000 is just perfect. A great build off, something I think you guys should do again.
My favorite you did. Great with details and decals. Clear coat protects the decals. Always did that on my 1/50 lorrys.
So much work on a custom jobbie but IT paid off! Love the decal work especially . This car is a real gem!
Absolutly wonderful customizing. The Ralley-Car looks so nice . Very good job.
What a fantastic build! That blue and the contingency decals really sell it as a rally car, and the wheels are perfect! Great job!!
I'm barely managing a half decent paint-job and you guys are turning out stuff like this...! Awesome work, fellas!
I love everything about it! Those mud flaps look so good they fit the car so wheel
Man these restorations are absolutely amazing! I can’t help but to binge watch these. I wish I had the talent and patience for something like this. Great work!!
Nice Custom Rally! Shows what doing something from the heart adds to a project. Thanks for sharing.
Your best one yet Rob. Thanks for all the effort and thought you put into this model
Love watching these vids. Lots of hard work and great result. Though have to say that I love the bare metal look when you first strip off all the paint from a model and you can see all the detail. Very cool, look! Great work.
I laughed so hard at the end 😂 I wasn't expecting you to play with the car! Awesome build! Love the decals and the interior!
Enjoy these channels, keep seeing little motors i had as a kid, brill lol.
Another great job Rob! I will defenitely be going over to Danny's channel to see what he's come up with now.
The mark 2 escort has always been my fave out of the escort range. This is an awesome custom build!
Looks great... I think its funny that you put 2 different tire manufacturers as sponsors on it
Fantastic job on the escort, very creative special effects, thanks for all of the informative ideas.
Wow. Another masterpiece from Matchbox garage :-). I love old Ford cars. Perfect looking. Well done ;-) .
What an awesome & wonderful perfect restoration!! I’m in awe!!
Ive been watching the channel for while now.and alway's look forward to the next one.it's made me go up in the loft and dig out all my old model's.it's great keep up the great work fella.
Loved the RS as a kid,
I always said my first car would be one of them.
I actually had to settle for an N Reg 1.3 L. (KCX 912N)
I did have Rostyles, quarter bumpers and a vinyl roof though!
And so many brake lights that when you hit the anchors the drain in power alone slowed you down!!
Oh and a bloody good video mate.
Fantastic! Some cool creativity went into all those details. Inspires me to try some new ideas out. Thanks!
Both of you have done so much with so little. Keep up the great work.
I'm gonna say, your paint, and decal detail is a 10. Danny did his best, and it was good (working with a bigger mess), but your additional attention to detail, was something to aspire to.
Lots of attention to detail. That roll cage looks pretty cool. Didn't think that color was too good at first, but at the end it looks great. Thumbs up all day. 👍

I love these cross channel build offs. I've found so many great new restorers and customizers as a result.
Thanks mate this is exactly why we do it 😄
Fantastic! The Baby Blue looks incredible. Dannys looks great in white too. A smashing pair of cars!
Fantastic custom build, it really looks the part with that roll cage and mud flaps....🚗👍
Amazing what you did with the casting! Wheels look like they came off a current Matchbox.
Brilliant details - love these build offs and it keeps things fresh. 👌
I like both builds.
Edit: "a couple of joiny bits" is the correct, Industry standard wording.
Love the attention to detail as always, the roll cage was a nice addition. Great color too.
That car looks like it came out of Pull-A-Part: a local junk yard in the US where I reside. The car is just a shell stripped of wheels and with rust in place of paint. The glass is always there since at all the junk yards I've seen the glass is always there unless it was broken in an accident.
ESPECTACULAR!!! Tengo el mismo modelo y no sabía cómo resolverlo. Mil gracias!
Such a cute little wee car. I would drive a real one.
Perfect, you totaly nailed that, i knew you,d do something like that, i declare you the winner!
That turned out beautiful! I really like the effort you put into the interior. It adds a ton more realism. I also really appreciated the time you spent on the number plates.
To me, the wheels you chose look like the style that Matchbox developed and began using say, 10 years ago. 2007 or 2008? I remember the wheels becoming better and more realistic around that date range.he number plates.
This was definitely the winner and it looks really good the only thing i would change would be the spoiler in black. But it still looks nice.
They look like wheels from a Hotwheels car. Another great job, you seem to be getting better as you go along. Live and learn. 😄👍
Omg , I love the way you bring this cars back to live
Awesome ! You obviously love your craft. Thank you for sharing.
Another nice model build, I do like the colour its well nice, from how it was and the little touches you done now its perfect.
Dont know how some one can dislike that. Awesome.
Very good work !!, incredible !! Amazing Ford Escort RS2000
Love the blue and love the decals, also the detailing is top notch as always. Fantastic finish. I have an RS2000 part finished, it might be my 2nd or 3rd video release, not doing a rally car though.
Also the car driven by Martin Shaw as Doyle in The Professionals.
As my dad used to say about its speed..."it goes like shit off a shovel."
Outstanding rob.
Lots of nice details, and a lovely paint job .
All the best.
Great job Rob, really good build off with Danny. Look forwards to another one 😉👍
Maybe soon 😉
Great job with what you started from.
Like the light blue color on the Escort Rally car. Good detail. Not crazy about the mud guards, but they are realistic.
You do an unnervingly good impression of one of those cars banging its head against the rev limiter. :)
Very nicely done like how you think out of the box
Excellent work. Beautiful little auto.
Thats an awesome build of my all time favourite cars. Miss my mk2 escort every day.
Or of my favorite classics, I'm really ramped up to see how you build this one!
You did good work. I'm not trying to take that away from you. I liked it as it was. Maybe with wheels added but make it look a little more worn and rusty. Again, your version was great.
What an amazing restoration!
BRAVO!
Bit of a tip Rob, drill the headlamps out and dabble Humbrol clearcote in the holes, test it first though a a scrap bit of plasticard, nice job.
Absolutely stunning result. Nicely done.
Two great restorations by you and Danny. Well done
Hell of a job
Top ten for me!
Your skill is getting supper good!
Pulling its own trailer?? But it's a really sweet build. You can see that a lot of time and effort and love has gone into it. The blue colour is amazing. One of the best customs I've seen for quite a while.
Absolutely awesome transformation guys!
So much detail... Great job
Congratulations with a very beautiful work 💖
Beautiful craftsmanship
Looks great! Think you one this one!
Great job, your paint always looks awesome.
You spanked em bro! He made a great effort, his rear seat delete and rustic “dark wash” tactic looked great! Buuuuuut, your car looks like it belongs in a museum! Beautiful! Great craftsmanship. First vid I’ve seen, and I’m subbing! If you can, do some more “all out” builds... why not an RV or semi truck?
Super nice detail, that came out awesome!
Are the wheels of a rolls that car is above and beyond Rob well done fantastic job 👍👍👍👍👍👏
Guess again
Beautiful result! Well done!
Wow great job man! Looking mighty fine to me!
Wow! Amazing transformation!
That's an amazing job...a real result...
Even without the decals this car is gorgeous.
LOVING HOW IT LOOKS! Just one thing I don't fancy: those red flaps next to the wheels, but that's me ! LOL! 👍😃✌
Looked at both videos, I like your car for color and detail. The other car was really a mess but came through quite nice. As I mentioned in my comment to the other work, the flat black hood would be a sweet touch.
Sweet build! @ 1:10 definitely when you're hitting all 3 holes, you should always use lubrication!
Absolutely phenomenal car well done Rob
Fantastic job on the decals
I can almost hear it Barraaapp down a dirt road! Great job!
Color is awesome. Luv the way this one turned out. 👍👍👍
Excellent work! It looks great.
A very fine job, it looks great.
Yeah I had at least 10 of these escorts n the decals were Ford n Cribe on most there where others but Cribe. I loved these fast Ford's Thanks
Spectacular detail, amazing car! I love it!
