I like how Argentina brought all this generation of young players together with a few veterans. It was great opportunity to test new talent.
Great chance for young American players to gain international experience. You can see how individual talent does not automatically translate into talented team play. Learning opportunity-yes!

Team USA used D league guys in qualifying. The NBA teams were not going to allow their players under contract to participate during the NBA season. Other countries with NBA players had to play without their NBA players. Qualifying isn't that hard so they played these guys. Expect the stars this summer.
