Today, we're diving into the fascinating world of the Temsa Avenue bus - a rare sight on the UK roads.
The Temsa Avenue buses are exclusively operated by Arriva North East, based in Redcar, UK.
You won't spot these buses on every corner, as there are only 25 Temsa Avenue buses in the entire UK.
Designed to take on giants like Scania's Omnicity bus, the Temsa Avenue holds its own in the urban transportation arena.
Arriva holds the exclusive license to sell Temsa buses in the UK, making them a unique addition to the British public transport scene.
Back in 2010, Arriva made headlines with a groundbreaking £2.5 million deal. They imported 20 Temsa Avenue buses, all the way from Turkey, to Redcar.
Over the years, Arriva expanded their Temsa Avenue fleet to 26. Today, they boast a total of 25 buses, including the original demonstrators.
However, the journey wasn't without challenges. In 2011, tragedy struck when one of these buses was destroyed by fire.
