- We started our Queensland adventure in the lovely city of Brisbane. Join us for a visit at the botanical garden in the center of town. Learn about the plants and the wildlife that inhabits the gardens. Enjoy an artsy day in Brisbane, visiting the city-hall and the modern art gallery. We then explore the "glasshouse mountains" just north of Brisbane, taking a walk in the forest there in search of koalas. Last is the visit to the Australia Zoo! We still have good memories of the Steve Irwin show, so a visit to the zoo was high on our list. Even the rain didn't stop us from having a great day there!
PS: as usual, thanks to Tamir for the music and Nofar for the great thumbnails! In this thumbnail you can see "Eyes Are Singing Out" by artist Yayoi Kusama.

I like you and your videos. It is very thoughtful that you have subtitles as well. This one reminds me of my day at Australia Zoo.
Thanks for kind words Jenny. It's great our videos can revive some good memories...
Very nice video 👏
Thanks, glad you like it!
@@back2backpacking you deserve it 😎
More absorbing photography! I live near brisbane; but I guess I don't look around as carefully as you two.
Thanks again Ron! Remember, the slower you travel, the more you see...
Him calling an ibis bird a bin chicken is absolutely feral! They are a fantastic majestic high flying bird that deserves more respect. Maybe if humans didn’t leave their trash lying around
I just love the white Ibis... Apparently in Australia they call them Bin-birds or bin-chicken...
Everyone in Australia call them bin-chickens.
Be careful touching trees and leaves in Australia. In tropical North Queensland there is a tree called the Gympie-Gympie tree, the leaves have tiny nettles that get under the skin and can't be removed, some people suffer with the pain for years.
Yep, thanks for the warning. We later found out about this "burning plant", so, it is always good to be careful.
