Absolutely loved trying out the bushcraft spain canvas tarp in this plough point configuration for a couple of nights in the woods recently! Being out in the woods, sleeping under the stars, campfire cooking and sharpening my castrom knife is so good for the soul.

When I'm out the company I keep and relish is a good book. Peace, quiet and only nature around me. I have become quite the recluse in my years past 55. I cherish peace and quiet and nature. But now and it's time to get the guitars out and have a good sing song with good friends and new friends sometimes. I am enjoying the Autumn my favourite season. I love a plough point too. Glad your introduction about Hello Fresh....was filmed without your popular foot soars, and laundry line assembly with socks etc. hanging in view. Made me chuckle as long distance hiking and the human body are NOT quite FRESH, or FRESH possibly to others. Looks like Buster may have borrowed your cozy wool blanket for a night or two. 15:15 you need to try out one of the arkansas ceramic rods for homing your knives in the field. Youd be suprised at how well they work. You can get away with just honing the edge instead of hitting it with a stone. Keep up the videos!

You selected fine equipment all around on this trip. I admire Bushcraft Spain products for their quality and practicality. One cannot beat horse blanket pins for sturdy fasteners on heavier fabrics. GILES BINYON is a British trad backpacker with a small channel: you might find his sort of folding veg strainer and windscreen fire kit to be interesting. He gets good results out of small fires that he keeps off the ground to protect the soil.

That tarp looks nice; do you think its worth cost though? Btw the agawa canyon saw and granfors wildlife hatchet go well together. Ive had mine for years, but i use silky saws more now because of the weight and size.

Hey Girl Outdoors. Do you have an Esee 4 camp knife? Once you hold one in your hand youâll know how special it is. (No, I donât work for them)
No I use mostly use castrom knives :) havenât tried Esee.. heard they are great though!
@@GirlOutdoors super great and pretty cheap. The â4â is 1/4 inch thick and weighs a pound. Runs through timber like a hatchet. Made in USA. Just sayinâ.
