Stopped off in Benidorm after traveling around north Africa in the early 80’s and traveling up from Algeciras through Spain on the way back to England. Stayed for 3 months in the end. Had a great time and lived like a local up in the old town. Happy memories.

I doubt the bars will reopen anytime soon. Chances are some simply won’t reopen at all. All very very sad.

Great video. It makes me long to get a holiday and this puts Benidorm on the radar when booking.
saint Patricks day cancelled for the 2nd year running ,My Happy place The western saloon turned into dust and we thought 2020 was bad,
Western was my favourite bar too it won't be d same anymore but it won't stop me going bk to Beni when it opens again can't wait
Had some great nights in there.. Sad
I've been twice for St Patrick's day a few year back both times it fell on a weekend. What happens when it's during the week like next year for example. Do people flock out there for the particular day or weekend

So glad that me & my Wife had Xmas & the new year 2019/2020 in Beni .We had a great time . Little did i know that covid 19 would take my Yvonne in January this year but i have some great memories of all the great holidays we had in Beni . I really hope that it can bounce back . Please take care .

Marmaris in turkey was quite lively in the summer considering the situation.......... loads of bars were open and a good number of tourists. Obviously quieter than usual but at about 50%.

i stayed so many years on the hotel in front of that bar wellington, and danced so much at wellington, oh my god, that was in the 90's

I really do think a or of countries wil turn heavily to domestic tourism due to the pandemic. Mainly because it easier to control your own borders and a lot of holiday firms and airlines will fold. Those that survive will be expensive as less choice.

I am so impressed with roller skating, if it was me, I think I round fall off in the first
few metres.
Let’s all keep our fingers crossed that people will be able to get back soon.
We do have a few British people in Torrevieja, I bumped into two Norwegian
people yesterday, they said they lived here? But I don’t think they did as they
did not know the area? But how they hit here is a bit worrisome.

Very excited to see what the Western Saloon will look like, although there will be some sadness in losing old layout. Floor boards were probably going from all the jumping that went on. Won’t be long before we’re cramming in to see the turns again and high fiving strangers.

Bet i wont like the new western bar as much as the old,i luuuurved it on them bar stools. Talk in papers today maybe back in Spain late summer,owing to this new strain which has set us back a bit.
