tvamahamidamitīyaṃ kalpanā buddhidoṣāt
prabhavati paramātmanyadvaye nirviśeṣe |
pravilasati samādhāvasya sarvo vikalpo
vilayanamupagacchedvastutattvāvadhṛtyā || 355 ||
00:24:03-Verse 356
śānto dāntaḥ paramuparataḥ kṣāntiyuktaḥ samādhiṃ
kurvannityaṃ kalayati yatiḥ svasya sarvātmabhāvam |
tenāvidyātimirajanitānsādhu dagdhvā vikalpān
brahmākṛtyā nivasati sukhaṃ niṣkriyo nirvikalpaḥ || 356 ||

samāhitā ye pravilāpya bāhyaṃ
śrotrādi cetaḥ svamahaṃ cidātmani |
ta eva muktā bhavapāśabandhaiḥ
nānye tu pārokṣyakathābhidhāyinaḥ || 357 ||

upādhibhedātsvayameva bhidyate
copādhyapohe svayameva kevalaḥ |
tasmādupādhervilayāya vidvān
vasetsadākalpasamādhiniṣṭhayā || 358 ||

sati sakto naro yāti sadbhāvaṃ hyekaniṣṭhayā |
kīṭako bhramaraṃ dhyāyan bhramaratvāya kalpate || 359 ||

kriyāntarāsaktimapāsya kīṭako
dhyāyannalitvaṃ hyalibhāvamṛcchati |
tathaiva yogī paramātmatattvaṃ
dhyātvā samāyāti tadekaniṣṭhayā || 360 ||
There are innumerable differences between humans and other beings, but it narrows down to one principle distinction. The humanly ability to discriminate. A lion can certainly tell a hunter from a prey; this discrimination is a primal urge that aids in survival. However, the boon of discriminating between the temporal world and the ever-present unchanging Truth, the Supreme, is exclusive to humans. A basic understanding of this, or even questioning the existence of this statement, is oftentimes the stepping stone to one's spiritual seeking.
Sri Adi Shankaracharya's Vivekachoodamani translated as 'the crest-jewel of discrimination' is an important introductory text that acquaints a seeker with the joys of Vedanta. It walks one through the importance and the process of subtler discrimination, that must lead to dispassion towards worldly objects of desire.

Beautifully explained Ved ji🙏🙏 When a worm contemplates on a Wasp which is always keeping an eye on it.. The worm on single-one pointed contemplation BECOMES the Wasp itself!! So too.. A true Seeker on application of the knowledge of the Scriptures in His Life when internalizes it.. It becomes His knowledge and He attains the truth of the Highest Mahavakya AHAM BRAHMA ASMI.. he becomes Brahman too!!.. What One Sees, What One Hears, What One Contemplates On, When One makes it a Second Nature.. He Becomes it!! He lives ever in Nirvikalpa Samadhi!! as He has tasted Nectar nothing ever Nothing other than that tastes Good!! He is Liberated and takes Everyone to Liberation.. Moksha..
