A.A.Ron Davis no she pushed him to be a champion because she knew when they got together that it was his life goal to be the worlds strongest man and that he wouldn’t stop until he achieved it. Now that he has achieved it she wants him to be home more and to stay healthy. There’s nothing wrong with her demands because they’re raising a family and he hadn’t been around much while doing strongman.
A.A.Ron Davis Yeah that’s cool but you have to compromise in a relationship especially when you have kids. He’s a smart guy and can be passionate about something that doesn’t involve a high probability of death.
@A.A.Ron Davis do you have the mental ability of a 3 year old? What part of being a father to a small kid do you not understand? At some point you have to grow. If the person in your life that loves you the most doesn't want you to do something because they worry for you, you do it. Otherwise you're just being selfish.
It's one boxing match which I am sure he is not making it a career and for body building they are not going pro so it's fine.

There is no way eddie could of done what he has without the love and support from Alex what woman
She has done everything she could to sabotage him. During his 2017 Prep for WSM she was leaving him dead in the middle of it, he had to switch his focus to her for her to stay. Here she is telling him to be normal instead of being supportive. She only started supporting what him when the money started rolling in.

And at the time when Eddie felt like giving up, he said it himself, that Alex convinced him to keep going and win WSM.

@A.A.Ron Davis It's a little more complicated than that. Chances are that she does love him for what he is, but there's something else to consider and that is his declining health. It's not as easy as "well yeah, if you want to do it, go ahead and fuck yourself up for your dream". People... are mostly naive. When it comes to achieving something, they'd hope they wouldn't need to sacrifice much (or anything). In Eddie's case, he's risking his health with Strongman, and then he goes on to farther risk his health when saying he's considering getting into martial arts after he's done with Strongman. She wants him to be alive and well, naturally, so I can't blame her reaction... that's her being emotional.

@@brunosouza2303 If you watch the entire scene, Eddie's wife really struggles when she hears what Eddie is planning to do after strongman. To me it was very shocking, the disconnect between the two at that point in time.
@@mtcuppers He wants to make a living, even he if would like to, after all of this, normal "work" wouldn't be the same. Not even mentioning she married him because of this, if he would give in to her wishes, after a year or two she would be like "you have changed, I want a divorce".
tldr: he has no choice, he must keep pushing as long as he can, like many of us on our own path

Well i don't really know what's more dangerous... bodybuilding or being a strongman? Bodybuilders maybe damage more on the "inside" like organs and so but strongmans apart from being so heavy they have injuries all the time and are obv exposed to more risks while training

I like Eddie he has always come across as a respectful type person so I say this with the greatest respect, please don't take up MMA. Your extraordinary strength will not help you against some one who has trained for many many years.
Pudzianowski did it successfully. He's far quicker and more athletic than Eddie, though, and still had to lose a lot of muscle mass to make the transition in training.

Strenght and endurance is a big factor in mma especially when they wrestle, so your wrong it will help
