Trish, your boxes for these older boys just get better and better. You have so many unique ideas for the boxes and find the perfect items to match your themes. The shirt and Rainbow TY start the box with wow, and then the mirrored sunglasses and Lego blocks just keep it going. I know he will love his box. Oh, and thanks for your video which shared how to get the most from a Shein order. I managed to get a $15 order for $9.75 with free shipping by ordering on Sunday and using your tips. Thanks for sharing.

Trish, you did a great job on this boy 10-14 shoebox! So many fun items! I love his shirt, legos, domino set, etc…. I just started collecting for a frog box. I originally was going to pack it for a 5-9 girl or boy. However, you have inspired me to pack it for a 10-14 boy and I might change it to include other reptiles and amphibians(I needed ideas for 10-14 boys! I’ve been having trouble with them this year for some reason rrrrrr!)! I love that wooden snake! I haven’t seen one at my DT so I need to check again! Great idea to include pics of how he can decorate his wooden snake, if he would like! Thanks so much for sharing! I will definitely be box lifting some ideas you included in this box🤣! 💜💜💜
Thanks, Dawne. I’m glad to hear you were inspired. It’s funny, each year I set out to pack only 2-4 and 10-14 boxes, but always end up with quite a few 5-9, which is why I don’t even bother planning them. Somehow they just evolve, but, if I can make them into a 2-4 or 10-14 and feel good about it, that’s what I try to do. I think this is the first year I’ve really gotten the hang of packing 10-14 boys. I find if I have a lot of quality “filler” type items ready to go (basic playing cards, dice, marbles, high bounce balls, fidget toys, bracelets, Hot Wheels, brain teaser puzzles) that I think any 10-14 year old can enjoy, its a lot easier to make it happen. Hi Trish, This is am aweseome box. I have packed bug and garden themed shoeboxes before, but nothing like this one. So, many small "Wow" items. I love how the frogs keep popping / hopping up. The turtle Hot Wheels car is s favourite of mine - I love turtles 🐢. I have a turtle Hot Wheels that was bought for a shoebox and is now mine ... for now. 🙄 TFS. 🐸 💚

A lot of Cool 😎 Green💚 in this box. The Amphibian Theme is Perfect 👌 for a boy. Reminds me of the saying " Frogs 🐸 and snails 🐌 and Puppy 🐶 Dog 🐕 tails " lol 🤣😂

Yay, thanks. I am particularly glad to hear that you like the book. I was a little concerned, as there is so much written English in it, but there are tons of pictures, too. You are from a non-English-speaking country, am I correct? Do you mind me asking if you speak English fluently? Or do you use something like Google translate? I’m curious because your written English is excellent. I’m also curious as to your opinion about packing books like this with English words, particularly for the older kids. I don’t have a problem sending picture books to the little ones, but I don’t often send books to the older kids (due to more words, less pictures). The Reptiles & Amphibians book, though, had to go in the shoebox.

Most countries learn English as 2nd language, I wouldn't send a full novel of course, but comic books, national geographic books like this one and even simple kids books like the litlle golden books are amazing way to learn and practice English

This whole box is a wow. This is my favorite box. My grandsons would love this box. Love the book and spiral notebook. The markers withe the wooden snake with picture is a great ideal. I do have one of those snakes so will diffently include in one of my boxes. Thanks for sharing

This shoebox is definitely for a boy with all the creepy crawlies. My favorite are the book and wooden snake. I remember looking at books like that with my brother when we were little. I’ve bought a few of those wooden snakes also. Definitely a boy toy. 😂

I love the whole box but especially the Dollar Tree bendable figures. I bought some of those for my garden and went back for more to put in my boy boxes as well.

Isn’t that notebook the coolest? Yeah, I thought it would be fun to decorate the snake. Since I can’t send paint I’m hoping markers do the trick. I don’t even remember where I found the illustration. Probably Pinterest. I love that shirt, too. I think I actually paid regular price for it, but it was only $6 and when I saw it I knew I had better get it while they still had a size XL. It’s very nice quality for six bucks. Thanks for watching, my friend. Now go pack some 10-14 boy boxes 😂.

Thanks, Denise. Yeah, I think the wooden snakes are a lot of fun. They are in the craft section. I believe I bought this one this year, but I also bought one last year, so I think it’s something that they carry on a relatively regular basis. Whatever that means at DT, LOL. 🥰
Wow lots of fun stuff in here! I love the snake, I haven’t seen those at my DT. Great idea to include the print out of the different colors. I love his shirt and the notebook is very nice. He will have loads of fun with all his goodies while learning new things about reptiles and amphibians! TFS!
