Nice car, looks thoroughly original and UN-molested. Your closeup camera skills are impressive.

Glad to see how its done. I got a 89 Iroc that needs a heater core. Think it got bypassed years ago. Great job!!!

This was a huge help, thank you for making this video. Without it, I would have likely never found that screw on top of the heater box. Just FYI, I loosened up the center bracket, driver side speaker bracket and the top nut for the driver side dash and had plenty of wiggle room to get to that top screw on the heater box. I hope this helps anyone else starting this job. Wacky design!

Just did mine today on my 85 TA and your video helped a lot, but I didn't have to do anything up top with the dash I was able to get that top bolt from the bottom, i used a 1/4 snap on fine tooth ratchet with a shallow 7mm and was able to get about 2 or 3 clicks with the ratchet each time on it lol. Some of the other bolts I used a 3 inch and 6 inch extension and a wobbler as well.

Very well made video. I’m still not going to be able to do this by myself, but thank you for uploading this.

Any way to do this without removing the dash pad? Mine is super cracked from sun damage

@@charleshale6083 I did see someone say in the comments that they were able to do it without taking the dash pad off, but I’m not really sure how you can do that. If you wanna look back in the comments, you’ll see it.

Most newer cars suck these days. The entire dash needs to come out most times
