- Deepti Vempati, 32, and Natalie Lee, 31, both became famous from the reality T.V. show on Netflix called "Love Is Blind". Their quest to find love ended up leading them to quit their six-figure corporate careers, become social media influencers, and hosts of a successful podcast.
Before joining the cast of the Emmy-nominated series, Deepti and Natalie led careers in the tech and accounting fields. Deepti worked as a data analyst and Natalie was a management consultant. Both say their experience in their old careers have helped them navigate life as influencers.
Although neither told their bosses about filming "Love Is Blind," both found their experience with the show heavily impacted their careers. At one point, they realized they couldn't balance both influencing and their corporate careers and needed to "pick a lane."
Now, they run a successful podcast called @outofthepods where they discuss their experience while filming "Love Is Blind," invite other cast-mates from other seasons of the show, and occasionally feature other guests who found fame from Netflix reality T.V. shows. At one point, "Out Of The Pods" was ranked #20 on Apple Podcasts charts and #10 on Spotify U.S. podcasts charts.

They've talked about on their podcast that this wasn't the reason why they did it but once they finished the show they realised the potential of making money so why not take the opportunity? They're well aware that they only have so much time before they won't be able to take that opportunity. They were able to make money and keep their integrity.

My dad always says one situation can either bring out the best or the worst in you, it's all up to you. Look at how they took their experience on the show compared to other people from the exact same season. I am so proud of them and Natalie needs to start teaching money management ASAP!

i really like these two together. natalie has a nice voice..at first I was a little suspicious of her genuinity bc of the way she speaks but after watching her for some time, she seems authentic and true to who she is. love them

It’s really fascinating to me how the have made so much money. A lot of people come out of UK reality shows like Love Island and end up back at their old jobs due to lack of success with social media. They are doing so well!

Good for deepti for cashing in on this experience, but she is way too boring to be a long-term influencer. Her engagement is terrible. She has 1 million followers on Instagram but most of her posts don’t even get 100 comments, I just really hope she’s investing, saving and has a plan.

yeah a good "strategy" to lessen the seriousness of participants who are actually in there for the purpose of the show. when you have individuals like this it ruins the viewer interactions: parts seem fake because you are now thinking whether or not these individuals are truly in it for finding a partner or just building their tv personality. these women were already making a decent living. what a shame.

Great, more "content creators." I can't wait until that's no longer a lucrative career. It's not their fault, not blaming them for quitting their jobs for that, but capitalism gonw wrong is destroying society. Why would anyone be a teacher or a nurse or civil servant when you can have their life instead. I just hope they donate to charity alot to at least somewhat make a real contribution.
