My first Mercedes was a 1987 190E 2.3, purchased as a one year old car in 1988 from the Mercedes dealership. Mine being a 4 cylinder was a piece of sh--. These 2.6's were better. Mine was underpowered and problematic but had that nice blue color and was beautiful to look at. I sold after 2 years and bought a '85 Maserati Biturbo, with 12,000 miles and that car was really awful but won any race I had with it.
