My teammate and I are just getting ready to take out CDL permit test. We have talked with Delenna and she has a file setup on us. That truck is exactly what we want to drive for Hyfield! Out of curiosity how do your teams shower and clean up? I always wanted to Expidinte haul, I have my Cdl class A , I drove Tri axle dump trucks for 40 years, I wanted to do Semi Truck, but when I was younger, married, with kids, I made decisions to stay local. I love driving but I miss out. I dream about over the road

As much as it is nice to have, let's face it the industry is going all automatic. Easier to drive and better fuel economy.
Just out of curiosity what are the dimensions for the mattress in a side by side? How many of these configurations does Hyfield have for non-same household teams??
The mattress is 30x75 in the side by sides. I don't know the exact number of them we have in the fleet, I do know they are requested a lot and I believe more are on order.

Is a hazmat endorsement a must? I have tanker on my cdl already. I really would love to do expediting.

Missing shower
unfortunately in a side by side sleeper there just isn't enough room for a shower to be put in since there is a bed on each side of the sleeper.
Dont cook inside your truck it ruins it
I would disagree as cooking in the truck has many benefits. All of Hyfield trucks also come with exhaust fans to help with smells and things to be pulled out of the truck while cooking.
Just from the picture looks like a waste of space!
Watch the video and you will see there is lots of space for a team in this truck.

this is the most poorly designed "sleeper" I have ever seen on u tube. watch it a couple of times and see what I mean.
why? why would this truck need two people in it
Because in the expediting industry team driving makes way more money. Delivering critical time based shipments you need two drivers so the truck stays moving. A team can go coast to coast in 2.5 days vs a solo driver will take 5 days or more due to DOT regulations
