  • 6 months ago I purchased this fantastic little Cabriolet from my uncle. I will be making videos along the way as I refresh this 30+ year old classic VW.
The car lived its entire life in NE Ohio until I bought it. Luckily it was never driven in teh winter. There is no appreciable rust on the car. The suspension has some light surface rust, but nothing that needs attention. The floor pans, door bottoms, and windshield frame are in great condition. The paint is oxidized but should polish up nicely.
The interior is close to mint; very little wear. It just needs a good cleaning.
Mechanically it needs some work but I don't think it's anything too serious. A mouse chewed the engine wire harness so I need to replace that before I know how well it is running. It was daily driven up until it was parked.
