    Well up to your usual standard Mr and Such this would definitely help people as to how to carve details like eyes, looks like you were using Basswood as it was carving so easily with your Flexcuts, I don`t know if, say you were using pine, it would lend itself to the same detail as it normally has different grain maybe you could say or do one!!!

      I not using pine at all I using cedar instead. But Only for power carving because cedar also have grains. With knifes i stick with basswood 😉

    Great lesson video! I tried to do this with green cedar wood and the it didnt work. I dont mean to be a bother but what kind of stain is that? It looks good and no blotching!

    Try carving something tougher than balsa wood.
