In the context of his talk I believe Sadhguru-Ji is just saying that misperception if a very real thing and that we should be aware of it so that we don't think that just because many people are all misperceiving something and there is a large group of people with this same idea (the misperceived one), it doesn't make it right.

This reminds me of the thought I had recently, whilst looking in the local river. To the fish, the river is their universe. Our universe must be like that river and we are the fish.
I had a similar thought but with ants.

@@AbdulRahim-jl6fb Good question. I think what matters is does what he say's help you in anyway? Each person is at a different stage in their spiritual evolution. Knowledge that might be right for one person may not be good for another. So you have to find what resonates with you, and build upon that and keep an open mind. Also remember that each person is different and they will experience the same thing differently, it does not mean that one is right and one is wrong. In the end you will find the answers if you keep looking. Look within, more than not it will be hidden there. Nobody can teach you anything! They can only show you. You much teach yourself, and you must become a great observer or you will miss the subtle knowledge that comes to you.

Truth should not be equated to a fundamental law such as gravity. Truth is more of a perception and it's consequence judgement of a conscious being. Since no two people are identical people will always have a difference in opinion.
Here is a silly example. If I look at a field of grass I will see the color of green. If I close one eye the shade of green changes as compared to my other eye. Even within my own body my eyes can't agree what is the correct color of the same green grass. My brain has to decide for me. So what is the truth in this situation? People and cultures are so different we have to appreciate each other and accept each other. The greatest wisdom that can be taught from one person to another person is...
BE KIND.
