It’s even more prevalent in older adults. It turns into a chronic problem if stress isn’t managed. There are stress related illnesses. Try looking those up Shimmer
i've had visceral reactions to anxiety since i was 12-13, and im 16 now and it still happens lmao it sucks
I used to have an upset stomach and issues like that starting in elementary school and it continued through most of my adolescence. I had a very stressful home life and it manifested into a very anxious child. I used to get mouth ulcers and my sister often got stomach ulcers.

19:55 the reason that you might've had more stomachaches as a kid is because of anxiety! the "pit in your stomach" feeling that you get during a moment of anxiety can read to a child as a stomachache. i was one of those kids who got them frequently but was actually just anxious or nervous about something at school (like a test or project)
omg same, and my teachers would always joke about me having to go to the nurse often because they thought i was faking it

It's also because kids in general are more sensitive to different foods and bacteria, so even from a digestion point of view children tend to get sick (specifically stomach aches) easier than adults.

As someone who received a three page love letter from a guy I talked to a handful of times, don’t do it. It honestly horrified me. He was confessing his love for me and I almost felt guilty that I didn’t like him that way. He was barely an acquaintance. I was also upset that he clearly didn’t love me because he didn’t know me.
With my anxiety I had to be thrown into an awkward situation where I had to turn him down and hope he didn’t flip out. He did. His mom messaged me on MySpace the next day. It was a shitshow. Just don’t do it. Don’t put someone in a situation like that. Get to know them.

I don’t like the second verse because they’re making fun of erectile dysfunction, but my interpretation of the rest of the song is that it’s an exaggerated joke to make a point about how heterosexual sex, especially casual sex, is often really bad for women because we’re objectified and our pleasure isn’t given equal value. It’s not saying they literally will never have sex with a straight man again. Also, mainstream male artists degrading women and having rapey, misogynistic lyrics is so commonplace that you can’t turn on the radio without hearing it, and many people don’t bat an eye or demand apologies. Not saying I love or support the song though. Just my thoughts. :)

Also, just... this is so unremarkable, the fact that everyone is this up in arms about it kind of highlights the problems it's (maybe) reacting to.
