Use Snickers as bait. After two weeks with other traps using peanut butter, this worked 5 minutes after I loaded it with a piece of a Snicker Bar.

Yeah, it's definitely much better to set when you read the directions FIRST.
I bought this and like yours it won’t “click” and set into place. Even putting it on the floor when I pull the bar back does nothing. What did you do different when you placed it on the floor and got it to click? Not sure if mine is defective or what
i looked closely at what it is trying to do... look inside you will see that something needs to lock in place for it to work

Trap is worthless. I bought two and never caught a rat although they tripped the trap. At the same tip the tried and true Victor wood trap gets the every time. If you look at the power kill trap the flaws in it are obvious and the rat doesn't get caught in the trap. The biggest problem is the location of the bait tray. It is too close to the front of the trap. In fact a larger rat will eat all the bait and never step on the trap.
hot glue the bait to the trap, works everytime
You must have some smart rats? I have dismissed 3 in less than 36 hours and I like that you can release and reload with my foot wearing footwear.
This trap doesn’t work at all. The rat leaked all the peanut butter and the trap didn’t work. I bought two traps and It was a waste of money
The best thing to do is use a pc of tomato not peanut butter

@@LEARNINGCHORDS tomatoes, like all nightshades have a potent smell and can mask the scent of you touching the trap some.
