  • Well every fall rats move into the community in search of a warm place to winter, but every year we are quick to jump into action and eliminate them as they search out new territories. This year I'm trying the new Victor Power Kill Traps and they seem to work great. Easy to set and adjust to a hair trigger and they hit the rats hard. Next video should be of me rabbit snaring...

    Best video ever, I was curious about the power, you answered all my questions. Thanks for the awesome video!!! Well, I ordered 4 of them and I was no let down. These bad boys crack hard, they remind me of the large wooden Victor traps the way the crack. Very powerful and easy to set!!!

    I've used those before on "Halifax Rats" when I lived there. Caught 2 in the same trap on numerous occasions. The wooden ones with the big yellow pans work well too but some people find them hard to set.

      Yes Mike they seem to have the snap and hold power needed to work great, I only wish it was just a little bigger. But at this size they should work in mice as well

    I saw those traps and the first thing I thought was I'd remove that plastic over the bar , seems great minds think alike lol

      Yes I wish you could get one more size up, with a strong spring and thicker metal bar, but these little traps seem to do a good number with the rats.

    The thumbnail makes it look like a normal trap for tiny mice. Very impressive design.

      I can catch a Charlie in one if I don't hold the bar right when adjusting the trigger. LOL

    Nothing worse than having unwanted guests. The homemade ones with a 5 gallon buckets., that they used in the old meal plants work good too

      yes I made a few of those traps over the years, add anti-freeze instead of water for catching mice at cabins when the temps drop below freezing. Great set-up

      yes indeed, I get a little nervous trying to fine-tune the trigger but when you make them super sensitive they work great.

      lucky, but it's not that bad if you keep on top of it and don't let them establish a foothold in the area.

    I killed two in half an hour apart using the same trap, i used a paste a small amount so it had to get closer in. Large bait it on solid piece wont work they take the bait and leave.

      @NLGhostWolf  Před 3 měsíci +1

      It's a decent trap, I'm after getting 89 rodents since 15 Nov. A lot more in my older traps, but this one has been catching rats, mice and squirrels.
